Mildly interesting museum with recreations of lumber life. Easy to get through in under an hour. Admission is modest at $7 for adults but overpriced for what you get. I’m surprised to see the highly rated reviews. If you’re in the area and looking for something to do, go for it. Otherwise, pass.

Great exhibits for all ages. Clean, well maintained. Very helpful volunteers. Really well done and a great example for smaller cities in how to do a museum well. The Paul Bunyan theme wasnt really necessary, but its probably fun for kids.

I love this place. It is so steeped in history and information. I love learning about local history. It has information about where I was born and raised, and it is so very interesting. It is good for the whole family. There are activities for the young kids and displays for us more seasoned people.

Theres always something to learn at Paul Bunyans Logging Camp Museum; and with it being right in Carson Park, its easy to come visit!PBLCM is a great place to catch up on some local history, tour some historical buildings, and even take a picture next to the big man himself! There is no fee to go here, but hours do vary for when everything is open. Even when it is closed it is fun to meander through the grounds to see what there is to offer.

Very neat with a lot of information about the logging camps. Especially worth the visit and very cool when they have chainsaw carving contests from people all over the world.

This museum is a wonderful place! They have a visitors center which contains the gift shop, historical film theater, a childrens play area, and displays. There are also 4 outside buildings. They are all fully walkable and wheelchair accessible being connected by new sidewalks. Extra buildings include Lumberjack Cook Shanty/Bunk House, Heavy Equipment Shed, Barn, and Blacksmith Shop. All out buildings are stocked with accurate equipment and interactive displays that put you up close and personal with the history of the 1800s.What makes this museum completely worth the visit is the price!7$ for adults and 4$ for kids aged 6-17Thats the cheapest Museum Ive ever encountered!

This place is great! Its fun and educational! The reason why I didnt give five stars is because of the new fiberglass statue of Paul Bunyan, its a demeaning eyesore that brings shame to Paul Bunyan himself.

The people who run/ maintain this museum are very passionate about the Eau Claire area heritage. It is great to learn of the folk lore that we do not have in this era, and to hear how this city was formed.
