Awesome spot in downtown Detroit, the man at the entrance was a real gentleman on 29th June 19 during anniversary party. I recommend this place to any true michiganite!

The TV lounge was absolutly fantastic and somehow still lowkey enough to be the perfect crowd.

When in Detroit, you have to pay a visit to TV Lounge. The best of House and Techno. The artists they host are phenomenal. The crowd is always more mature than the mainstream venues in the area. There aint no twerking here. The sound is tuned just right; my ears have never left the place ringing. Drinks are a decent price, the staff has always been friendly.I would give them a one-star review just to keep this place a secret, but TV Lounge deserves better than that.

We just stumbled across this place. We were looking at what to do for on a Friday night. We noticed this had had reviews! We checked it out and were glad we did! Definitely a new different type of place on how to listen to music in a club type of setting. Turn your ID in at the door to receive the head phones, they give u a number on a card that u give back to them when you leave to grab your ID back, then grab drinks party the nigh a way! The theme for the night was quiet nigh to think. You listen to 3 different djs on the headphones. Pretty cool way of doing things Id say! Definitely a good night! Was fun! I think they have techno nights on Thursday nights too!

My favorite bar! Love the tall sci-fiish seating at the bar. Awesome outside patio where they have live music. So much fun. Brings in all sorts of age groups and different styles and types of people. A must go for everyone who is chill and likes to have a good time

Great people, music, and venue.

Great atmosphere, its like two clubs in one. On one side the DJs playing House music or throwback jams, then on the other side of the club the DJs spinning something completely different. In the summertime you can go out on the patio and theres a completely different DJ playing different music. I love it theres something for everyone.

Out of the many dance clubs I have been to around Michigan, this one is truly unique. The organic flavor of this techno club is seldom seen. This is where you go to let yourself go and enjoy the rhythmic pleasures of some of the Ds most talented DJs

I was there for a private party, it was real chill and had a good time. They had a DJ and the music was good and the bartenders pour nice strong drinks.

I didnt like paying 20 bucks to get in besides that a great look! ! Drinks are an average price,nice grown crowd this particular night!! I will go back! !

They do not answer the phone. Trying to throw an event there. Managers do not follow up like they say they will. I was trying to throw an event here and they make it inconvenient. Look for another random spot.

I guess TV bat is the best place for techo parties in Detroit. Especially when party is done by Paxahau promo group. Prices for beer are higher than the average, but place by itself is just great! Coffy sofas in front of DJ scene are awesome! There are mainly two rooms in TV bar - red one and blue one.

TV Lounge is a great venue. If you like House and Techno, this is the place for you. I dont know what the reviewer who commented on parking was talking about, because there is ALWAYS parking near by. You can park for free on both sides of Grand River and on the surrounding streets if need be.The music is always great, they have regular events and shows with local and international DJs and cover is only like $10. If youre looking for some dance music other than your standard Top 40 teeny bopper bullshit, this is the joint for you.Drinks are a bit pricy here, but I dont go there to drink, so I could care less. The patio on the side of the building is fun, it has a certain at home in my own back yard feel. The bathrooms (at least the mens bathroom any way) are clean and tidy, and there is usually a friendly attendant in there keeping it in order.Last, but not least... The staff! The staff is alway super friendly and they always have smiles on their faces (not the security though, that would be kinda weird). The servers and bar tenders are super nice, and they all dig the music usually so they like to have fun and break it down with you every now and then.Check this spot out. Its worth it.

Three different stages to listen to different DJs (2 outside, 1 inside) but the inside one was my favorite with the sound system giving off so much bass.
