Small park next to busy Santa fe hwy. 2 baseball fields and a small pond very polluted. Pond fed by storm drains. Lots of dumped tires. Still like it though.

Denver Parks are dirty. At least the ones Ive been to are. This one needs some love.

I love to work these fields, except in the dog days of summer, when on field 1 the pitch disappears into the afternoon sun.The infield dirt was renewed in recent years by the addition of dirt from Coors Field, as were several other Denver city ball parks. Coors Field had replaced their dirt playing field areas, and donated the old dirt to the citizens of Denver, as I understood it. At any rate, the red dirt on these fields has improved the beauty of the park. Its great to call games here, 2 fields; field 1 has a 265-275 fence, field 2 has a short fence in left field, like Fenway, I think the base is at 250 with the fence itself being 30 feet tall. This tall fence runs from the 3rd base line to mid-way into center field. The right field fence is 265.

Cant even really see the lake, the air is polluted by nearby industry, and bumbs/RVs/Drug addicts filled this park and surrounding area. My wife and I turned around from our walk and left

Average ballfields. On Field 1, the outfield has a significant downward slope. Field 2 has a fairly short left field fence. I havent played there at night, but the lights look unimpressive. Other than these shortcomings, the fields are nice.
