I went to do the Mummy escape room with my friends and absolutely loved it! Trace and Adam helped us out and they were awesome. They greeted us kindly and were able to make it an exciting experience. The room was full of surprises and mind exercising puzzles. My friends and I were challenged throughout the room but it pushed us to work harder!

Great experience! The room was challenging...host engaging & helpful! In the midst of this pandemic, it was evident that the facility was clean, masks required & staff thoughtful about personal space. We went as 2 adults plus an 18yo, 15yo & 8yo...they really had a blast even with the level of difficulty. Id certainly return!

My team had a great experience. We played the Speakeasy game. It had lots of clues. One of our friends thought she would not be good at the game. Well, she was a great contributor. Sunny, the game master, made it more fun. He gave us a little help we we kept going in circles. This game is lots of fun. I would recommend. Also it was clean.

We originally schedule this for early October, but due to some family emergencies we had to reschedule not once, not twice but three times. Each time the employees were beyond amazing and helpful if getting me taken care of. We got to finally enjoy the escape room this evening and had a really good time. Sunny was our helper and he was such a friendly and outgoing person. We loved working with him. He made the experience one to remember! I have been wanting to do an escape room for so long and EscapeWorks didn’t disappoint!!! We didn’t actually escape and I’d definitely bring your smartest friends with you because it’s a challenge!! I can’t wait to do all of the different rooms!!!

Great Place! We decided to go on my sons Birthday last minute. We ate and then requested a slot. Our game master was Sunny and he was wonderful! Everything was clean and staff respected sanitation and it was apparent. Thank you guys we had a great time and five less minutes we could have broke the record. We are coming for the speak easy and casino heist next.

As a surprise for my birthday, the husband and I spent an hour attempting to escape from the Zombie Outbreak room. With many hints from the fun and helpful Sunny, we escaped with 48 seconds to spare. Great theme, great puzzles, great time! Thank you For all of your help Sunny!

We went for my husband birthday. Sunny was our helper. He did an excellent job. I felt like he really made a great birthday for my husband. The room was very creative and challenging. We will definitely will be returning.

My husband and I have done two rooms in the past couple of weeks and we had so much fun both times. We had the rooms to ourselves and everything was sanitized between people so it felt really safe. We’ve had trace twice and Sam once and they’ve all been great guides!! We’re excited to do more rooms in the future.

Place was great! Went for a bachelor party, had some top notch customer service. Sunny, our game host, was pleasant, and genuinely enjoyed his job. Even during the *yawn* safety lecture, he still found a way to keep it humorous. We had a technical malfunction during our hour, and he was more than kind enough to step in, and make the time discrepancy right, while not detracting from the allure of the engagement. Professionalism on a scale, rarely done right. 10/10, would highly recommend! Ask for Sunny, he deserves the credit!

Just finished a work event here. Our group is normally a lot for anyone to handle, but Sunny handled us like we were a group of obedient toddlers with a rope chain. The rooms were just enough of a challenge to be as much fun as a Chucky Cheese party without alcohol, but not so hard they were frustrating. Maybe they catered to the intelligence in the room? Either way, we all had a blast. Thanks Sunny!!

SO MUCH FUN! We were a group of 3 couples that have only done this once before and we ended up picking the hardest room. Our host, Sunny, definitely was key into making this fun for us. He was so funny. And we did it!! We are in the top % that figured it out

One star is a bit more generous than I want to be with this review. In the Escape Room business and especially during a season of a pandemic one would think a business would be happy to have customers and do everything they can to keep them. Well Escape Works Denver will NOT get anymore money from me. As a game master myself, I want the people I lead through a game to enjoy the game even if they aren’t successful within the hour. At no point would I ever deny help or assistance to a group of paying customers—that’s just bad customer service. That’s what happened here for us. We asked repeatedly for help and got help on maybe 2 things in our room. So frustrating that we left before the time was up. You might have a great business but when challenges arise, how you deal with them is what shows the true character of your company. I saw the character of this company and the employee Sunday night. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place isn’t worth your time and money. Illogical and unnecessary puzzles. A room that wasn’t even ready for our reserved time. I could keep going but I’ll refrain. Just keep going to another location. Literally the absolute worst game I’ve played in over my 50+ games.

We did the Egyptian tomb themed escape room and we were ALMOST outta there when time was up! But we had such a blast and our 2 hosts were awesome! I wish I remembered their names dangit! I may call and get their names based on what time we were there today, because they deserve a big kudos! We will definitely be going again!

This place is the BEST! Sunny was our host for the first one and was so kind and helpful, that we decided we had to do another one that night. He gave us a discount, and we met Claire who is super funny. She was very nice and convinced us to do a third one that night! So fun. We will be back

This place is pretty neat. I had never done an escape room before. This place is the perfect spot to complete your first. Our attendant was very kind and funny. I think her name was Carla, I have a bad memory sometimes. She really made the experience fun. We did war games which we were informed is being replaced, which is unfortunate cause it was a great room. If your looking for something very fun and not expensive to do, come to escape works!

The Speakeasy escape room was super fun. Felt completely safe with all of the covid restrictions. Sonny was an amazing host and didnt make it too easy. Definitely going back!!

Every staff member was incredibly patient and helpful throughout booking and running the room! I brought a group of 9 and we only barely got out of Outbreak in time. Super great experience all around, highly recommend!

First timers; had no idea what to expect, but our host (sorry can’t remember his name) was super funny and helpful! He didn’t make us feel dumb at all! We did the Egyptian Mummy room and while it was for beginners, it wasn’t easy by any means! Needed a lot of help but we made it out with 30 seconds remaining! So much fun! Can’t wait to go again!

Had a great time going here for a gal pals birthday!! Every time I accomplished a clue, I got so much dopamine (much needed) but it definitely wasn’t easy. Couldn’t have gotten the amount of dopamine needed without Sunny!

Great place for small or large groups. It was very clean and there is a good selection of rooms. I recommend booking a time with Sunny, he is a very fun guy. He put up with all of our stupid question and made the experience great for the entire family.

I went with my boyfriend and two younger sisters. We had a wonderful time and Sunny was soooo fun. He was very helpful and made a good late night experience GREAT. I would recommend this place and I would definitely recommend booking with Sunny. He will make the experience even more fun.

Heart of downtown Denver. The staff made the experience so much more fun that is often the case with escape rooms. The room we went to was just right for our level - not impossible (we escaped!) but also challenging, and the challenges were quite well done. Definitely worth your time. Plan on paying for parking - there is a small, $10, manned lot right next to the building. Not ideal, but safe enough for your vehicle.

Ive never done an escape room before but decided to do it as a surprise birthday treat for the fiance + 5 friends. We had so much fun escaping the Egyptian tomb and it was everything we expected and more!! Thanks so much to Claire for making my fiances birthday extra special!

My kids went here and Sunny was very nice and treated them well. They are very young and so they had a rough time, but Sunny was very helpful and led them through and gave them as much help as they needed. They had a wonderful time here.

We had an awesome time at Escape works Denver! The room was super clean and so well designed it really felt like I was in a military missile bunker (we played War Games)! Our game master Claire was very friendly and super helpful, her clues were the perfect push in the right direction without giving too much away! We almost made it out but still had loads of fun, definitely go check out this place for a fun, safe weekend activity!

If I could rate this experience with zero stars, I would. We flew in from South Carolina and booked several escape rooms in the Denver area during our stay, and this was the worst experience by far. The game play did not flow, and puzzles were illogical and in-cohesive. We spent the majority of the first half of our experience asking for help with what to do next. Despite repeatedly asking for guidance, our game master was silent. We basically watched the timer count down. We left 30 minutes into our game, and our game master’s only comment was “You good?”We are very disappointed that our last night in Denver was wasted here. Thankfully, we had an amazing experience at Puzzle Effect with Erin. She was personable and never left us feeling frustrated.

We’re spending some time in Denver and did multiple of the escape rooms at EscapeWorks (Outbreak, Casino, and Egypt) and all of them were great! The environments were very high-quality and aesthetic and the puzzles definitely required effort and complex thought. We managed to finish all of our rooms except for Egypt, so there is a very real possibility of failure.In terms of staff, Trace was our host for every room, and was definitely a super cool guy, made the challenges interesting, and didn’t spoil them for us. A trainee Sunny sat in with us for Outbreak, and it was definitely super exciting to have an additional person. Everyone there has such a great attitude, these were awesome experiences! Thanks so much guys

Casino Heist was fantastic, during Covid things were very safe and the room was super fun! Sunny and Claire were awesome game masters and my young daughter really had a stellar time!

Clare was amazing she told us everything we need to know to help solve the room in time. My group did the Egyptian tomb and with only a 48% completion rate we solved it with 4 minutes left. Best way to get through covid and have fun with your family or friends.

I visited on Sunday August 16th, and it was amazing! We did the Egyptian room, it was so fun, and challenging! The employee who set us up, Sunny, was so helpful, and hilarious. The next time Im in Denver I will be coming back for sure!

For a first time escape room this wasnt too bad. I do think there could be some improvements made that could help make it feel more authentic. First make the room a little more inviting, I really had the feeling that I was in a waiting room. Second if there is a question that involves using math make sure your math is correct. Third have your staff walk through and do the puzzles for two reasons, 1. They will have. Better understanding of what to expect and 2. by doing a puzzle room walk through they can make sure that all of the props are in correct working order. All in all I think it was great and Im excited to try another room.

This is a fun place to go with friends, the puzzles are difficult but definitely doable for all ages. and Claire is amazing. would 10/10 return just for Claire, she really made the night full of laughs and enjoyment for all of us

Passible puzzles, but kinda repetitive... find a lock, find the code, to find a lock box, then find the key for the lock box, that low and behold has another lockbox in it that needs a code. All in all, not bad, but not the best.

Not our first time doing an escape room but first time at Escapeworks and I must say.... AMAZING!! The room was great and the host Trace did an incredible job!!! Will be back!!!

This was our familys first outing since the beginning of the pandemic. We found it to be a perfect activity! The room itself was exceptionally fun. The game master was very pleasant to work with. We definitely felt safe as well, knowing the room was sanitized. Only our household was there. Everyone wore masks in the lobby, and there is hand sanitizer available. We would highly recommend this escape room as a fun, pandemic activity!

We had Trace as our onsite person while we explored the room virtually and it was a great time! This room was a great mix of challenging and fun. I really hope that the business continues to have at least one virtual room because it is a great way for me to spend time with friends and family across multiple time zones!

My 13 yr. old son wanted to do this and I’m so glad we did. This was a fun activity that the whole family participated in with no electronics involved. Our teamwork and efforts (plus a lot of help from Devon and Taylor) helped to solve the puzzle and get us out of the room. Devon and Taylor were wonderful hosts and explained everything perfectly. We’ll definitely return for another family adventure.

We had a blast at EscapeWorks Denver. Our game master Savannah was amazing, giving us clear instructions, and allowing us to really work the room before giving us any clues at the perfect time. This place is A TON OF FUN! It was my first time doing a live escape room and I will definitely be doing many more because of the experience that I had here. Devon and Trace were our hosts and I absolutely love the presentation and humor that they brought to the experience. It was myself and one other person in one of the easier rooms and we just barely made it out in time. It was a great challenge and a blast of a time. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a fun challenge with friends or some bonding time with a significant other. 10 out of 10 for sure! Thanks gang! Keep up the good work!

We came here for my Girls Night Out for pre-wedding fun. It was SO. MUCH. FUN. Sunny was out Escape Master and made the experience the best!! We did the Speakeasy/Flowershop room. It was challenging, but Sunny helped guide us through. There were laughs, gasps, and screams of joy as we figured out the clues. Thank you Sunny for rounding out the night of Bride Tribe! HIGHLY recommend as a date night, friends outing, or family activity!

I’ve tried many escape rooms before and this one is by far my favorite! Not only was our room so well put together & exciting, but the staff was also amazing. Emilia was so great, she helped us get set up and made us feel so welcomed and excited to start our room. The room we did was meant for up to 12 people, so since it was just my boyfriend & I she helped us out a little bit. Emilia and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend trying this place out!

We were in Colorado for a long weekend and had a late flight home. We decided to try an escape room. We chose EscapeWorks and it was great. Savannah and Matt were awesome hosts. We were excited to be among the 18% that solved The Casino Heist. I encourage you to give it a try!

I was excited to try this place based on all of the great reviews, but our experience was less than stellar. Granted, there were only two of us, and we attempted the Outbreak room which is challenging, but our guides clues were only spot on about half the time. The other half of the time, hed send us clues for puzzles wed already solved, so it seemed like a waste. There was also a technical/prop error that was pretty elemental to moving on, so we felt that part was a little unfair; the room should have been checked more thoroughly before we entered our game. All told, its not cheap entertainment for only an hour by any means, so we left feeling a little defeated and disappointed to say the least.

Such a fun experience! For a date day we tried our first escape room and loved it. We shockingly escaped due to choosing the casino room and never experiencing one before but did get some hints along the way. Matt(hope that was his name) was very informative and helpful. We will be back for sure!

We visited escape works last night and did the Beyond the Flowers room. What a great challenge! We only had six people but we had a great game master Taylor. Taylor clues guided us when we got sort of stuck on some of the puzzles. We made it out with 30 sec left. I highly recommend Escape works for fun and challenging puzzles!

My family and I did the Egyptian tomb and we loved it! The puzzles were witty and the atmosphere was magical. We felt like we were in Egypt. Great stage. Just incredulously fantastic. Would have been sweeter to escape just three puzzles away! ;)

A fun, quirky experience, conveniently located downtown. Our group of 6 had a great time, even though wed never done an escape room with 2 other people we didnt know. The staff who helped us (Taylor and Selena) were friendly and knowledgeable. We liked their clue giving system and thorough explanation of the rules. The decor in the Egyptian Tomb game was excellent and the puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. Thank you for a great time!

My family brought me here for the outbreak room for my birthday, we were expecting to have the room to ourselves and ended up having to split it with two other groups. Our groups were amazing but I can see how if you get the wrong people that would be less than ideal. Otherwise it was absolutely amazing the staff member Emilia was great. The puzzles were challenging but fun and very creative.

We discovered EscapeWorks while exploring Denver. We were able to get a same day walk-in time. We did the Flower Shop story. It was challenging and enjoyable. The storyline was fun. The highlight though was our guide, Emilia. Emilia was friendly, upbeat and encouraging. We enjoyed our time and would visit again!
