Amazing and historic church with old-world architecture straight out of 15th century Eruope. This is also a great church that always appears to be feeding the homeless and hungry a lunch on weekdays and possibly weekends. Kudos to a church doing Gods work and not just sucking up money from parishioners.

Visited the 11 services. Warmly welcomed. A gorgeous sanctuary with a massive pipe organ. Chorale music is traditional and beautiful. The sermon is less Scripture teaching than by preference. Several community service projects were described

A historical and venerable church serving the community of downtown Denver RiNo and east Denver. The Trinity Church has a quasi liturgical form of service grounded in the Word of God, The Love of Jesus, and guidance of the Holy Spirit as presented, taught, and explained by Pastor Ken Brown. Free parking behind the church and I believe overflow parking nearby. Be prepared to climb a This review is based on a handful of visits by a follower of Jesus.

If you are looking for a traditional downtown church, you should give this a try. I attended 3 times trying really wanting to like this church experience. Im Methodist and wanted a downtown church home in a more traditional church setting. For me personally, I did not connect. The choir does a great job, but the church seems a little lost in a modern world where the church experience has changed dramatically. Were currently trying out other downtown area churches including Park Church which has a similar traditional church feel but a more modern worship experience. I worry for churches that are unable to modernize their worship experience to attract a broader range of people.

Mountain Sky Leadership abandoned the Chessman park neighborhood (old warren church), tried to turn the property into a homeless shelter without even having the decency to inform or consult their neighbors. The shelter was a complete mess, no management, just a free for all in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Mountain Sky leadership would not meet with community to defend their unilateral actions without a care until they got hundreds of angry calls. On September 23th 2015 their leadership promised to never change the property without consulting its neighbors and community. Yet, here we are again in 2019, and Mountain Sky Leadership is working on a partnership to open another homeless shelter, and doing it behind its neighbors backs. If you have a Methodist Church in your community do not trust their leadership, as soon as it fails they will abandon their neighbors and trash your community.

This beautiful, historic church in downtown Denver represents the first religious organization in the City, dating to a small service in a log cabin in 1858. The present sanctuary was completed in 1888. The building was designed by Robert Roeschlaub in the Modern Gothic style using Castle Rock rhyolite. The rococo interior incorporates many Arts and Crafts elements. The Roosevelt organ dates from the buildings construction and has 4,202 pipes. It has been carefully maintained in its original, Victorian tonal specifications with modern mechanical updates from the original dynamo turned by a water wheel in the basement. The majority of the stained glass uses colored and textured opalescent glass, typical of the Arts and Crafts movement, although the Resurrection window in the west balcony is more traditional painted glass. The interior carvings are also classic Arts and Crafts motifs, all carefully specified by the architect. The sanctuary and exterior have been meticulously preserved by the congregation and are in extraordinary condition.Trinity has a very active music program with 14 different performing groups within the congregation and a busy concert series featuring outside performers and groups. The acoustics in the auditorium are excellent and a chance to hear the historic organ is very special.

Christmas Eve Candelight Service - what a beautiful service. (Well-aside from the fussing/yelling/crying from uncontrolled children.) The service itself was nice and the staff and others are very friendly. Cookies and treats in the fellowship hall following service was a nice touch, too. Fun, festive decorations.

So looking forward to the holiday season at Trinity! There is something truly special about this place and the people who attend, not to mention the outstanding architecture. Besides enjoying the hospitality and beauty of Trinity, there are also opportunities to serve our downtown neighbors and community as a church family. Serving lunch with Capital Hill Community Services, celebrating new homes with Habitat for Humanity or joining in the fun of Christmas parties for the Olin Hotel and the St. Francis Job Center are just a few of the ways we can all be involved.

Trinity United Methodist Church is a beautiful, 100+ year old building in downtown Denver with some of the most amazing stained glass windows I have seen outside of European cathedrals. If youre fortunate enough to be there during a service or a concert, the organ music is soul-touching. It is a church deeply rooted in the history of Colorado, and its voice in the Denver community is an important one, with a contemporary Christian message.Worship at Trinity is highly traditional, matching the feel of its historic interior. However, I have found through years of attending service and participating in church activities, that this is a congregation filled with opportunities to experience God and faith in a variety of ways. There are academic study classes and contemplative/meditative times; active service projects and artistic personal journeys; groups for families and opportunities to make new friends as an adult; beautiful music in the air and amber-colored light flooding the windows. People at Trinity seem to have a variety of ways of expressing a singular faith, which has enriched my own faith journey in this community. Its not just about the sanctuary, or the historic building at Trinity. Although, admittedly, thats what drew me there in the first place. Its about using that beautiful space to create opportunities to help people meet God where they are and to take the messages of hope, faith, and community out into the world.

What brought me to Trinity was the beautiful building. What keeps me there is the excellent music program for adults and children, the caring staff and the innovative educational and cultural offerings. I have been a member of Trinity for about 13 years, and I definitely feel like part of a community. If you are looking for traditional worship services, beautiful architecture, expanded worldviews and a committed staff, this is the place.
