The skate park itself is amazing, the people who hangout around there throughout the day are sketchy people. If I were a father I would not let my kid go there alone because of the type of people who are there. It is a known place where gang affiliated people hangout. Do not let your kids hangout here after school if you are a parent who is worried about you kid(s) being involved with a gang.
Always a great time. Get spot, better people. Can always find someone I know or what to know just chilling and a great conversation can just blossom. WILL SKATE IF WHOLESOME
It was easy to find when driving. Parking was a little different but it worked out. They have lots of cool curbs, bowls. Decent sized skate park.
Great park. You can see some really cool skateboard tricks here. Plus there still room for the little ones to get their skate on.
Come for the bowls and ledges, stay for the random fistfights and dude nodding off. I try to skate others parks, but the beer-stained concrete keeps calling me back. Learn all the fun names for different parts of the park, like the “toilet bowl” that doubles as a drain when they clean the porta-potties. Hours upon hours of wholesome fun!
Its an awesome park. Great for all skaters no matter your experience. Good looking guys too on a total side note.
Really fun park always people to learn from and good place to ride
The park is really fun! Lots of obstacles and lots of room. It is right downtown with all kinds of things to do nearby. Giant slopes and it is in really good shape. You can zoom around super quick
So I have a quite a bit to say about this skate park, but Ill keep it to the bare minimum. First off, I love this park, because the quarter pipes and half pipes just make sense. Being from a different state and the skateparks there being completely random at sometimes, is a wonderful change. When you go down something, it just feels right. Theres plenty to do for any skill level, and its just overall a great park.
My kids love it here! Pretty cool peeps lots of lessons given to my beginner skateboarder.
An amazing skatepark for intermediate and experts! A lot of fun and unique obstacles. Not a lot to ollie onto though. It is alright for beginners.
Always thought skateboarding was cool but could never keep my balance!Nice place for the kids that can though
This skate park is legitA little of everything for whateverYour skill level is.
Great place to skate everyone was just doing their own thing
Great park, great bowls and pump track. However I wouldnt bring your kids here. Alot of sketchy characters, and open drug use and dealing. Like I said great place to skate, but very very sketchy at the same time
It was a sick time. We got some sick pics of the kids
Cool vib good skaters. Big park. Lights until 11 pm
Smooth finished red concrete, tons of classic and creative unique obstacles. Bowls, ledges, rails, ledges. Tons of space and clientele is usually pretty friendly and cordial
Mellow to challenging terrain. Great location. Square rails, drops, ledges (metal and concrete), hope and bowls!
I definitely will be coming back to enjoy the view...
Beautiful area of town, very well kept skate part. Come here if you are visiting Denver or just want some fun.
Dirty but its a nice place to skate
I remember when... The Denver Skatepark was thee biggest skatepark in the country at the time twas built. 2002 I believe, it was completed. Good gosh holly jeez poo, it was fun to tear up as a youngin! Ive been there recently & for some reason, all the people there were hecka younger then me... !?
Always great to have a place where kids can let loose and have fun
This park is a little dated but has a good location for downtown. Right now it is closed, closed, closed. There is gravel everywhere and fencing in the bowls. Its going to take a lot of work before its open again.
This skatepark is like its own city. So much fun here
Nice skate park. Free entrance . Open in covid
Great skate park for everyone!
Built perfectly for the most part. And always has people to watch or if you join them.
I have been coming Denver since I first started skating 18 years ago. One of my top favorite skate parks to go to. Its 2nd home park!
Best skate park ever
Awesome scenery! Awesome place to get the kids out to run around
Great place to skate. Everyone is respectful and friendly.
When i was at the skate park a bunch of teens started to fight and not just like yelling at each other but they were fist fighting!
A great place to think & release the mind/soul. Practice the sport and network. It can be crowded with foreigners/visitors. Though always a fun/challenging time to skateboard with the locals. I constantly pick up trash there that people leave behind, would encourage to at least pick up after eating/drinkingPlace is like a home away from home
So many memory’s here love this place.
Love it! Hoping to come back here again when I get the chance. May do some parkour here as well.
Best place to take a break if you got a board!!!!
Great if you skate gets crowded though
It was dope we got there early and started clearing the snow, next thing we know the whole skate park grabbed shovels and we cleared it as a community then we all shredded. The park is huge and there was so much to do there. Liked it alot.
Big park. Lots of skill
Really nice skatepark with an even better setting
Great park with a large street section, 3 bowls, and some other interesting terrain to roll on. Only down side was that it was pretty dusty when I was there making it a little slick. But great park.
Good place to walk, sit and read a book, or skate if you are so inclined.
Cool skatepark
Great variety for your adrenaline pumping needs. Cruise the concrete waves, enjoying a cheap and healthy way to have fun.
Dude its totally gnarly there alot of leadges and tarnishing and crazy homeless people on drugs to Ollie over its only the dirtiest at dpark baby
Fun city park skating
Free and fun!
If you like cheesesandwiches sure, I get it but you ever think about those that prefer chunky nut butter and sugar fruit goop?
Really pretty. Right by downtown.
Great place to skate fam friendly and a good place to be if your trying to get out and do something fun with your family.
We always have a great time! We have had some injuries, but thats to be expected. However, the injuries werent as bad as they could have been, because the concrete here is a lot smoother than regular concrete. With that said, it gets pretty slick and makes falls more prominent. So, catch 22. Im sure the smooth concrete helps with aerodynamics as well. We have gone at all times of the day and we dont run into any problems with anyone. Most of the time, people are very aware, respectful, and patient with each other.
Looove this skatepark! Definitely a ton to do without getting bored. A great place for intermediate skaters and beginners as well. I haven’t been when it’s too crowded but can certainly get frustrating at times with all the little kids and scooters around. Still a very fun park to practice at!
I love the D-Town skatepark which is the Denver skatepark because the day it opened Ive been skating there and I still just love to show up by myself and have a good time and people treat me with respect so can I ask for more than that the park is awesome one of the best skateparks in the world in my opinion the peanut bowl is for the riders and the street courses for the street guys got plenty of other stuff
I took my 7 yr old son to this park and he really enjoyed all the courses and ramps. I think this park is very family friendly and has a very nice abnd beautiful scenery around the park. After all it is Downtown Denver and it owns up to being a skate park.
Good old D park. Kinda slick but it’ll always be home away from home.
I dont even skate, but my corgi loves watching the people roll around. Looks like a lot of fun. Good variety of pools, rails, etc.
Good clean fun
Pretty rad
Huge and unique!
Always good vibes from here
Just watch out for the pebbles
Great park to skate!
Best around. The community is great here they all look out for and some try help teach my 12 year old which is not the case everywhere.
DART LOVES TO RUN! He dont care if its a skate park, my back 40 or the open road. We love seeing public space and meeting new people. Definitely a better crowd at night but cool people visit durring the weekday mornings too. Put your hat n gloves on and catch that uber down w you kids and let them LIVE! Keep Denver downtown alive
Disgusting Park and they need to clean it
Lots of fun
Love this park, just wish I knew who runs their Instagram.
I love the place is a shame that is trashy and nobody take measures on it
Great park
I love this place so much, if your in the area you need to go.
AS CRISPY AS A CHURCHES CHICCEN BUTTERY BISCUIT WITH SOME HONEY GLAZE PULL UP!!! THROW DOWN!!!
A lot of fun. Hella homeless people but still 5/5
Is this park open as of July 12th?
This park is huge! Love all the flow sections and bowls. It was amazing. Not too crowded and tons of areas to progress as a skater. If anything it could use a mini ramp section but other than that its a really awesome park.
Our 5 year old is just learning and this was a great place to start. Mellow group!
Great park, lots of families there!
A fantastic skate park right in the heart of downtown Denver. Not super bmx friendly due to slippery cement conditions, always wear your helmet
Dope parkLots of street and vert funSmooth polished crack free surfacesGo pop a wheelieHang X
My 12 year old loved it he said it was a lot of old people when we went but they showed him some things I couldnt lol nice and beautiful place
Its good but to many overall skaters
Great place for the skaters and youth in the area, could use a little more lights though even though its not open theres still some creepy dark corners.
It has the best rails and bowls and I love it
Such a cool sight to go check out the skate park lots of different ramps they have pool. I dont skate myself but this is a cool spot to just hang out see the new generation getting it
This park rocks! Whether you just want to watch the skaters, scooters, or bicyclists riding around and performing tricks in all the various bowls - or are young or young at heart and want to join in the fun - the vibe is cool and is inviting for all. A Denver treasure!!!
My son loves this place! Small not to crowded!
Friendly people, high traffic area, great first time experience in Colorado.
Slippery. Weird vibe with all the pros and bums
