Visited here during new years. Civic Center building was beautifully decorated with lights and best time to visit here was at night where you can enjoy the lights and take pictures.

Like most things in Denver, this park is exceptionally clean. Very neat architecture and lots of open space. The only reason this gets 4 stars is due to the amount of homeless that like to congregate here, though they didnt bother me.

A five star review for the beautiful, historical park, with incredible statues commemorating the Native American and Bronc Busting influence, and amazing architectural buildings. The Capital and Civic Center are wonders to behold. Sadly, the homeless camps surround the area, and the sanitary and trash problems make it sad and smelly.

We went to the Christkindl Market in November. It was fun, considering Covid and all. But make sure you get there right when it opens since the line to get in moves slower than a herd of snails traveling through peanut butter.

Its a beautiful place during the summer but a filthy sty during the winter. Homeless camps and people have been known to appear here during the winter. Not the cleanest or safest place for kids. Teens who want to go exploring will be likely to catch something nasty if they frequent this place.

This is a great resource for the people while a ton of people can and do use this spot to exercise their freedom to assemble more people should use this more often... it’s a great place to go feed squirrels or the homeless also a great place for a quick lunch break... also some awesome photo backdrops no matter which direction you facing something exciting is going to be happening... never a dull moment in this park it will keep you on your toes...

Other than the litter pollution from recent gatherings, Civic Center Park was peaceful, comfortable, well maintained and a wonderful experience. Gardens were growing of many colors, historic monuments displayed historic value, and paths lead to theatres, benches, and museum. Downtown is great although mountain parks are my next choice when visiting.

I had an awesome time in Denver for the greater greener conference. The park looks nice for the most part. Not sure if all those works were done because of the conference. I also observed a lot of homeless around the park which is typical for big city. The civic center was very nice, I love the art that are on display upstairs. The garden outside was nicely done but there is potential for better design and maintenance.Overall Denver is a great place to visit I must say a clean city as well. I love you Denver the mile high city.

A wonderful park between the Denver Capital and the City & County Building. always something going on here most weekends and week days. From political rallies, food events with bands or just hanging out you can find something to do here. Like most of downtown you will find homeless people. But dont let that keep you away. Many people use the landmarks for pictures. In the summertime during the week day there is Civic Center Eats. where they bring in food trucks for lunch time with live music playing. This happens 3 days a week. They also have completely free workout classes in the park 3 times a week. Yoga is later in the afternoon on Monday and two other classes are during lunchtime Tuesday and Thursday. In winter time the workout classes move to the McNichols Civic Center Building.

Scenic walkways through beautifully- manicured gardens and Renaissance-era architecture. Conveniently located between the Colorado State Capital building and the Denver Courthouse/Judicial building, as well as being directly adjacent to the Denver Public Library, a 5 minute walk to the Denver Art Museum & Hotel (#1 hotel in Denver) and to the 16th Street Mall & Civic Center Station (with connecting RTD routes: #8 [Wagon Rd. This is a beautiful downtown Denver park. You must put it on your list to go see when you vist Denver. But you must know that there is a high concentration of homeless people and drug users that are around this area. Please watch out for yourself and other while here. We have seen used needles in the grass. So watch where you walk. With that being said it is a very beautiful place and is heavily patrolled and you are safe going there. A great place to visit and eat a picnic.

This venue is right in the center of downtown Denver. When I first saw the architecture it immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to get out and see more of it and find out exactly what it was. So I parked right in front and ventured out. It looks like greek architecture, its pretty grand and very regalesque all in the back drop of a park on a city wide block. I asked the police for the name and they had no idea, which I thought was rather funny. Nonetheless, its a great place to take pictures and notice the grandeur of this edifice in the middle of the city a stones throw from city hall and the Supreme Court. Ive included pictures of city hall which is evidenced by the gold dome as well as the beautiful tress that surround the park and adorn the entrance to this building.

Here for the 420 rally in 2017. Really a beautiful park! The city seemed to set the rally up for failure by not putting trash receptacles throughout the park. There was only a handful back by the memorial where all the port a potties were. What do you expect if people do not have a place to put their trash? I had camera bags but no trash bags. I literally had to put food container waste in my backpack til I left the park and found a trash receptacle. It just seemed unorganized at best. Had a great time with all the people and got some great shots!
