Im an employee of this rec center and the family like relationship the employees have with the kids and adults who come in is amazing! By far my favorite rec center

Nice staff. Although clean, the locker rooms are of an old design and feel cramped and could be updated. Nice basketball court. Also has a pool and pool tables

I really cant rate it. I dont recall being there ..... thank you ?????Maybe they were doing tax preparation there. And, I went for that .So, i cant really grade this place . I give them one star to give them something instead of none .

The lifeguards and the people there are nice and we we get a bunch of time to swim.

Great staff, workout area, indoor pool and gym. My son had an excellent Instructor tonight for teen weightlifting safety. Her name was Bridget and she inspired him!

Nice pool (lap and separate leisure with slide), well-equipped weight/ cardio room. Convenient location for those living in Lowry neighborhoods.

Decent, pretty clean facilities with a small splash pool for young kids. Staff was nice and lifeguards were very attentive. The highlight is the water slide which my five year old daughter enjoyed using over and over. The big disappointment about this place was the distance from the closest bus stop. Of course its my own fault for not checking, but I was surprised when we got off the bus to find we had a 1.5 mile walk one way to get there from the bus. Unfortunately I probably will not bring my daughter back here for just this reason.

*Update* The torn shower curtains were replaced!!! So thankful and happy! Thank you staff!This is one of my favorite recreation centers in Denver, second only to Carla Madison. The staff are usually very kind and helpful, the weight rooms have good equipment, and there is always enough parking whenever I arrive.Some notes to consider: park only in the parking lot for the rec center if you can. I parked out in the street once and had a person who I assume to be living nearby, verbally berate me for parking outside the rec center parking lot.Another note: sometimes the showers can be in poor cleanliness. Several times I have gone to shower and found trash on the floor (including a babys used diaper once!), the smell of urine, and ripped shower curtains in the stalls.

The pool has a really fun side for little swimmers and toddlers with parents. My daughter had a great time playing in the fountains and going down the water slide with me.

Took the kids swimming at this rec center! The front desk staff were informative, friendly and pleasant! I don’t remember names! I did speak with Erik about doing a birthday party a few days ago so we are looking at that due to the great price! Life gaurds were great, very Attentive to everyone in the pool! Thanks for a great experience!

My family and I really enjoyed our experience here. Awesome slide. Plenty of lifeguards alert and on duty. Entire kids pool and its warm. Will definitely return soon.

Great place for a quick workout.

Great place to go for indoor swimming or basketball, they have great service. A fantastic place to go if you live in the neighborhood, everyone is welcome with a My Denver Card.

The big slide at the pool is broken but still a great rec center. The family pool area is warm and clean. Locker rooms clean and we happened upon a gun gymnastics show. This is a great community resource.

Quiet place to work out here but need more equipment

A fairly good Denver Rec center. Denver, being central, has largely smaller and older Rec centers than the burbs. But Montclair is one of the better ones. Good indoor pool sets it apart from the majority of the older Rec centers. Front desk staff are also well above average at this location. Tucked away in Lowry, this is one of my favorites

Staff was friendly and the site was clean. A great place to take kids.

Clean and nice staff. The weight room is normal but a little small for my taste. Fortunately I like to play indoor soccer in the court area and I swim way more than doing weights. The pool is the biggest and cleanest comparable to other indoor pools Ive tried in the area. Good hours during the week. Shorter lap swim hours during the weekend.

Pretty hard to improve on the Montclair Rec Center! Never too crowded, wide assortment of equipment, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Classes, too, and a really nice pool. A++

Great staff, nice new equipment in the weight room. My sons love the pool too! Just be sure to lock up your things in the locker room, Ive had two attempted break-ins in several years.

We have had three of our kids birthdays here because they love the huge indoor slide and indoor water park. The rental is affordable and you can customize the room to your needs. The staff are very friendly and helpful but you do have to clean the place yourself, which isnt that big a deal since they have all the supplies in the room. Great for a break from the snow.

Horrible experience, we payed to be able to swim and we found a spot to swim and we did until the lifeguards moved us, then as we continued they moved us again to the kids section. Adults being sent to the kids section?We didnt pay to be to moved around. Once again HORRIBLE.

Great Knowledgeable Staff and very clean and spacious. Weight Room is my focus and its more that above average. Weight stacks and machines are keep up and clean.

The city of Denver provides such a wonderful workout and Recreation Center at Montclair. The staff is always helpful and makes it a real comfortable place to visit and workout. Thanks Denver!

Im new to Denver and am impressed with the recreation center system. The Montclair Recreation Center is convenient, clean and offers a wide range of activities.

Great pool. I wish they had more adult lap swim time in the afternoon.

Deep in water aerobics where awesome but as a newcomer not knowing the moves it wasnt newcomer friendly but I do see myself coming back to get used to the moves.

It has a nice pool, very inexpensive and pretty clean. I dont give 3 stars because of it, but honestly, most of the staff just usually in I dont give a crap, I just sit here mood. IMHO

This place was one of the best pools to go at.Their staff are completely amazing and nice.They also had bigger pools and a slide than this recreation we have gone.Please go to this one if you dont know where to take your children.

Came at 3pm and had the pool all to myself for almost an hour. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The pool at this rec center has our favorite was water slide. They also have fun recreation activities besides the typical cardio and basketball court like billiards and foosball. As an added bonus, they offer some great classes for kids like pottery, tumbling and swim lessons.

I love to come here for my workout, the staff is friendly and the facility is always clean and orderly.

This is my first time there, I made friends faster than at the boys and girls club.

Very friendly staff, but the facility is definitely NOT worth its regional status (higher fees). and whatever you do, dont use the family locker room. it is not heated, and there is a slide lock on the inside of the door to the pool (in addition to the lifeguard controlled handle lock), so people use it as their own private space. Had two freezing cold babies and I couldnt even get in to grab their towels because a family didnt understand how locker rooms worked. didnt lock them out, so they kept repeatedly opening the door to see if I had left yet, causing my frozen children to cry harder each time. Front desk had no explanation as to why the lock even existed and why therw was no heat, and could only apologize.

My daughter visited this pool with her grandmother today. The lifeguards were NOT impressive. One was on her phone while on-duty, which my mother reported. What upset my daughter was a lifeguard policing what she wore. She is 6, and was wearing swim trunks, but was not allowed to swim without something on her top. SHE IS 6 YEARS OLD, and was made to feel ashamed about her body, whereas a boy would not have been required to cover his torso. I understand that it is important for swimming facilities to have appropriate dress expectations, but there is no good reason to treat young children differently according to their gender. We will not be returning.

Most of the staff here are fine, particularly the men who arent teenagers, who work behind the counter and run the athletics. There are two female (young) life guards who need to get off their high horse. Rude, snippy, condescending. Not ok!
