The rec center is closed due to the pandemic. But the park it self is a good for a walk or jog and get style exercises. Ware a mask for safety and helps for ash from the wild fires.

I come here to park and eat and take naps. I dont mind watching 6th ave. traffic, but at least I can park in a shade. This park is too small for me to ride my bike and or go walking, but its nice and quiet.

Best place on the west side to drop off your ballots.

Barnum Park is a fairly large park around the southwest side of Denver. I was surprised at the size and at the relative tranquility this park offers being so close to downtown and major streets such as 6th ave, Federal Blvd and Interstate 25. Since this park sits on top of a hill, it overlooks the downtown Denver skyline and also has a lake, a rec center, biking trails, restrooms and a water fountain. Over the bridge there is even a large mountain bike section with dirt mounds and trails. The park was clean and maintained and is a nice place to stop and visit.

Great gym but lacks everything else

Closing off the pool for being at capacity when it is mostly empty and you have paying members Shut out? What are you guys doing over there? Pretty bad, hire more guards and get it together.

The rangers in this park like to give people tickets for dogs off leash even when theyre not and like you add other false charges

Rating strickly on dog park. Very small, no water, no poop clean up station, just a gated Sandy area with literally nothing. People that day were very judgmental towards anyone using park they didnt recognize. Will never go back for use of dog park.

Its a beautiful little park. Has a stream, trees, grass. DONT FORGET they have ducks! Who dosnt love ducks?

This place has a great outdoor pool, love taking the kids here during the summer time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The workout equiptment is great to work out amd get your body in shape

Its a very nice park for dogs, especially, because it has two enclosed dog runs. Has a steady stream of friendly dogs coming and going, so its a bit hard for someone with dog aggressive animals to get a chance to use the runs.

Has weight and cardio rooms havent seen the pool yet basketball courts

I m so sad to see 1 of the best dog parks closed! The park is so big I m so surprised that they just didnt move it to another area! I feel that as soon as everyone gets use to a great dog park the city closes it and starts construction!!!:(

Made my kids do a swim test to dive off the diving board, very happy about this.. no toliet paper in the bathroom at all. Or a place for it, nor was there a note on the door saying to ask for tp.

We have a new very nice fenced in pebble surface dog park!! Not much midday shade, but excellent otherwise!

Good place to take the family and or walk the dogs.

Paid $170 for a year. Place is closed on Sunday. Open on Sat for 4 hours. During the week it opens late and closes early. If you have a job, then a membership here is a complete waste of money. Def just a place for kids.

They have a full facility there and friendly help.

The area is clean and welcomeing.The people that work there are very friendly. The womens bathroom needs the shower handeles fixed. They are so hard for a child or an older person to tune the handeles. I had to have someone help me turn on the shower for me. They have no toylet paper in the bathroom because of people taking the paper. If they lock it in place they wount have this problem like other restrooms do. Thanks

Nice park but the lake is either dry or over flowing, and the grass is usually soggy. Water park looks fun though.

Decent park, but not very many places to sit or have a meal.

Good view of downtown and if you love photography is the best place to take good pics

Regarding the gentlemans comments about Denver Parks closing the dog park to build a walkway, the same thing happened by Cherry Creek Reservoir. Denver Parks sold some parkland for building purposes. I think someone running the show is wheeling and dealing and selling off Denver parkland, which once gone, never returns. Never.Be active in local politics, or someone else will.
