Large, beautiful park. Maybe the most beautiful park. Lots of parking. Kids playground. Dog park area has sections for small dogs and dogs over 30 pounds.

Been here a few times and have always enjoyed kayaking, picnicking and walking. This day was extremely busy with jet skiers who would not obey the law. The park rangers on site never got out of the car even though they were right in view of what was going on. Also, weve been a few times since the weeds along the bank were cut and its very disappointing that no one is cleaning up the trash on the banks and its getting into the water. Weve cleaned up a bunch on our visits.

2 separate gated areas for small and big dogs. Wasnt crowded when we went. Our dog had a great time off leash

I really like it here but my only problem is that some people dont clean up after their dogs... also there was one time where this guys dog wouldnt stop running up to me and jumping/scratching me. I know this isnt the parks fault but still. Its really nice here though because theres two sides - a big dog section and a small dog section. Theres also playgrounds and docks which are nice.

Thats my neighborhood park and I loveeee it because we can do it all. We have a dog park 2 kids park, lovely all around trails, small, median and big bbqs areas, and best of all we can jet ski as well so its a all day fun family fun at the park thing.

Very clean and well maintained fields for both small and large dogs. Great place to meet other dogs and people. Fair amount of parking. Over all a great place to take the pups.

Our dogs loved it here. Plenty of space for them to run and play and also take the family along and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Wild iguanas all over but they are intimidated by humans which makes it another piece of amazing beauty.

The park is awesome. So well kept. Great place to spend the morning with you dog and maybe enjoy a bbq. Lots of charcoal grills and pavilions. Manicured lawns and great walking paths. Public access the the lake for your jet ski. It does get very busy everyday. Only two dog fenced areas and there are always too many dogs to actually play inside the fenced areas.

Great space for dogs. They have 2 parks, one for large and one for small dogs..., And my only Concern is they dont have trash bins around for the left overs their food

Very nice, expansive fenced dog park offering large and small sides, shade, benches, restrooms, drinking fountains and a pet wash area. There is a walking path inside the dog park for you to walk with ur dog off leash and the rest of the park, lake, boat launch etc is pet friendly for your dog on leash. Well maintained park, beautiful views of the lake... we enjoy coming here as much as the dogs!

Great park sandwiched between I-95 and lake Ida. A long narrow park with the dog park at the end. They have 2 playgrounds and lots of picnic tables overlooking the lake.

Really nice dog park with separate sides for big and small dogs. Be careful leaving your car out of sight for too long, though, since my best friend had her window broken and belongings stolen in broad daylight. Try to park where you can see your car from where you’ll be..

First time bringing my two dogs and they had a great time. The park is kept pretty clean and a lot of room for them to stretch their legs. Would definitely recommend.

I have been here about 10 times and I have never had a problem with the place nor the dogs here. Keep in mind that I have 2 small dogs, so I cant speak for the big dog area, but I have never seen other people have problems either. There are plenty of bags available for your cleaning up after your dog, as well as a water fountain for both dogs and their owners. The dog park is not the biggest ive seen but its a decent size. Theres a gazebo for a couple of people to sit under with their dogs, to get some shade during hot days, and also a couple of benches along the cement pathway for sitting. There are a couple of trees scattered around the park for some shade as well. Ive never seen the park dirty or littered with anything, which is great. Restrooms are located right in front of the parking lot, which is a plus. The parking lot is big enough to accommodate everyone at the park, and is right in front of the park so theres not a lot of walking required. This is where I usually take my dogs, and I definitely recommend it for others to at least try out.

Great dog park. All the dogs were having lots of fun. Could use some more trees for shade, but theres a man made area with benches and a concrete floor for the dogs to lay on with a roof for shade.

Best place in town to bring your four legged friends. The park is always well maintained, people who go are, for the most part, pretty amiable. Its nice having a separated space for large and small dogs.

That absolutely great facility. Conveniently located. Clean. Well-lit, and completely safe. Dog lovers in the area should definitely try this facility. One of the reason its great is because it has a separate run area for large and small dogs. Great parking too!

The dog park here at like Ida is very nice theres ample seating for people and used places to run for the doggies people throwing frisbees people throwing balls everybody is sort of sharing what I particularly liked is that there are doggie water fountains at just the right height to drink for a dog theres also a little doggie shower. Great place to go especially on the weekends

Wonderful place.

My dogs do not usually get along with others, so I was nervous to bring them to this dog park. After they got the chance to walk around the regular park (which is beautiful in its own right) we let them into the small dog area. Everyone was so calm and relaxed that my dogs had no problem fitting in. Even when they got nervous and barked at a few dogs none of the owners freaked out. The dogs had a great time, and Im excited to bring them back.

Great place for small and large dogs. Two separate fenced in areas for the dogs according to size. Area where you can wash you dog before leaving. Plastic bags for picking up your dogs mess are provided.

Nice place to take your dog(s) for a romp. It is clean with plastic baggies for you to pick up your dogs waste products. Pups divided by weight into two parks. Found however that people were not abiding by the rules! Several bigger dogs, while friendly, were in the small dog area.

This entire park is kept up beautifully. I know the workers there do an exceptional job keeping the grounds clean and I believe the people see this and also do their part in cleaning up.I am from up north and wish parks up there were as nice as lake ida.

Its a nice place. But be careful. Most people and dogs are ok. Some dogs are aggressive, some are too small and scared. Some owners dont care or dont know how to control their dogs. I have not seen a really bad incident, but I have seen a lot of small ones. Be prepared.

Plenty of open space to walk around and there always plenty of dogs for your pet to socialize with! Always clean with bags available.

A fantastic dog park filled with wonderful dogs and friendly people. This is a well-maintained park with plenty of fresh water and well maintained grass.

Beautiful park with an enclosed area for small and for large dogs. I wish the enclosed area was bigger so the larger dogs could run. Owners should watch their dogs better if the dogs are aggressive. We had to leave once due to two mean dogs with owners who allowed it.

Fantastic park to bring your dog. Pay no attention to the complainers. For Gods sake its a dog park. If your expecting a sanitized experience go to your local hospital. On the other hand if you want to enrich your pets life by socializing with a wide array of beautiful loving outgoing dogs then youve come to the right place. The park is well maintained as part of a larger park. The dog owners are as varied as their pets. Most are warm and friendly. Plenty of benches and a gazebo to sit in to keep you from the hot sun. Theres a small dog and a large dog area. My only gripe is there should be a medium dog area. My pup is maybe too big for some of the tiny dogs and definately too small for the large dogs. Other than that its a great place to unplug and release your stress for a bit.

Not much nature for dogs to explore and very very busy. Witnessed a terrible dog fight on the large dog side, which resulted in one individual repeatedly punching one of the dogs, Im assuming as an attempt to make it let go of the other dog. I think its impossible that these dog owners just discovered their dogs could potentially be of an aggressive nature and horrible they would have them in a crowded environment such as this. Be wary of this parks clientele.

My pups had a good time running. Wish the sod thats promised was in already in the small dog park, though. Before the rain they had an hour & a half of running & resting under the pavilion where there was clean water. Thanks!UPDATE!! JULY 2019 - LAST 5 MONTHS :Park rangers sit in squad car & leave before closing puppy park. People bring large dogs into small dog part (signage clearly says dogs under 30lbs. ONLY! Still bare areas - no new sod. Angry, argumentative people. No respect for others or their pups. Low class.

It was a great experience for both my little dog & myself. It was clean & everyone is friendly (including the dogs) & respectful. Really enjoyed the hour Sadie & I spent there.

Of the job of cleaning up this dog park and dividing it into sections so little dogs can have a place of their own and so can the big ones. Very nice people today and the weather was spectacular. The only problem is that there is a barbecue area right nearby with Hideous music blasting from it. During the week you dont have that issue.

The park is decent. Its close for me and the dogs to go to. But a lot of owners dont pick up their dogs feces. There have been car break ins there. Fights sometime break out.

Great park. Has a nice ramp to drop in a kayak, canoe, boat, etc. Has plant of free picnic tables and larger pavilions available by reservation. This park also includes a large dog park with sides for large dogs and separate sides for small dogs. They also have a free dog washing station to wash your dog off after playing. A long paved trail is available for jogging, walking, and riding bikes. This park also has a large playground. This park regretfully loses a star due to close proximity to I-95 which brings lots of vehicle exhaust smells and sounds.

There was an awesome group of people, everything was clean, our dog that likes to run a lot had plenty of room to get his energy out. So glad to have found this place.

Have been there a few times with my Lab mix. I always go to the large dog section. There is a watering area when you walk in as well as in the middle of the park. A trail takes you around the perimeter of the park and there is a shaded gazebo towards the back. Friendly mix of dogs and people.

Clean and has the amenities typical dog parents are looking for...water fountains for pups, well maintained grassy areas, shaded spots, mature trees, seating for humans. Would be nice if small dog area (30 pounds or less) was larger. Parking lot could be a bit bigger too. A few puppy parents dont pay as close attention to their fur kids as they should but, that can happen at other parks too.

Nice place for your dog to stretch its legs and get some socialization. Cleaned every Thursday. Water fountains for your pet and hose on the way out to clean their paws or cool them off.Like any dog park, a good idea to keep your pet on leash until you have done a quick eval of the animals already there.

Bathrooms for humans at entrance of parking lot area. Spacious play areas on both sides. Dog Bag Stations stocked and readily available.
