This is a great, small park. Playground for kids, beautiful scenery for adults. I used to watch my son play while my wife would go buy produce from the stand next door. Theyre closed for programs now, but its still a great place to walk (about 0.5 mile loop), and Pokemon Go, if youre into that. I think there are 7-8 pokestops and 3 gyms now.
I love Constitution Park, it is a gem on Hillsboro Boulevard. Be warned, as of this moment, quite a bit of the park is down for construction, but give it time and when they finish remodeling and renovating I believe the addition will be just as marvelous.Side note, this place is great for Pokemon Go players. About 3 gyms here and a ton of stops. Good stuff.I do love you Constitution, keep up the awesome work!
Very nice scenic spot for toddlers and when they finish construction for grownups too. Right now it is a nice walk but it just wants you to ask for more in ways of how long the walking area is.
Used to be nice park, but is abandoned, the name the trees are gone you cannot read. The best part are under construction.
A nice, little, quaint park where you can walk through a wooded trail, stop to do bodyweight exercises, play basketball, tennis, sit by the lake, or enjoy the flow of the babbling brook. It is under construction right now. I will visit again when it is fully renovated.
Nice place but most of it wasnt open which I had no idea. The little bit we walked was lovely.
Really unique part. Half the park is currently closed(Japanese arches and waterfall not accessible) due to construction. Seems covid altered the progress on them finishing.Tennis courts are nice however one of the lights is out on the far court nearest to the playground.5 stars for the sheer uniqueness of this park. You will see plants that you have have never seen before. Lots of character.
The rainbow eucalyptus is the most amazing thing ever. 10
Deerfield Beach Arboretum is a hidden gem. Ive been living in South Florida for over 20 years and just last week I discovered this beautiful place. It feels like you are walking through a dream with beautiful landscapes and the smell of fragrant flowers. A variety of trees decorates the walking path and the sounds of birds make you feel like meditating. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy scenic walks!
Beautiful gardens with quiet trails. My favorite is the Arboretum at Constitution Park. It isnt as flat as some of the other gardens. Nice for taking pictures or just strolling around.
Nice park. Unfortunately closed during pandemic. Interesting trees with signs to read. Minor shade, good parking.
Great place to do pokamon, meet friends and make new ones. Remember keep your 6 ft. distance. Have a wonderful time.
Love this place wish they would finish the back half
This is a really cool Park in the heart of Deerfield Beach. So many different plants and tress, Ive never seen before. Really worth the quick trip.
My fiancé and I really enjoyed this park. It is extremely well maintained and absolutely beautiful. There is Japanese type architecture and a beautiful zen garden. I loved how there were plants that are native to different parts of the world. My fiancé and I enjoyed doing Qi Gong here, and it was very serene and peaceful. If you want a place to meditate, then I highly recommend this place. I would come here daily if I lived nearby.
Wonderful walk. Informative signs on each species of tree. There are some very interesting species here! The playground has canopies so its perfect for the little ones. Very nice tennis and basketball courts. We love this place.
Love this park. Nice place for a serene walk or intimate date. Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the are. The variety of trees and vegetation from around the world displayed there is pretty cool too.
We were referred to this park for a beautiful wedding Photoshoot for Actor Margarita Vidal! She looked so beautiful vin these pictures that a wonderful female photographer took for my movie ️
Absolutely beautiful and relaxing to come and walk around the paved nature trail. They have a little cozy for kids of all ages.
This was a nice little park area tucked off the main road. It was a great place to spend some time with the kids. They have a small playground area and a self guided nature trail. Not very large, but well organized and a large variety of plants and things to do along the way. Made for some great scenery.
Fantastic little park, reminds me of the parks back home, takes your mind of being stuck in Florida. Deerfield is great though, A million times better than Miami thats for sure.It feels a lot safer and cleaner than most places Ive lived in Flordia. The park has plenty of parking, exercise trail ( the equipment is closed due to covid) but most ignore it. The basketball courts are closed atm also, as is most of the seating.
This little park is so magical. Tucked away, you will never know its there. Great park for families, individuals to Zen out, enjoy a stress free walk or jog. Packed with excersize obstacles, a Japanese theme and Zen garden area, its great!!
Under construction so they have half or more of the walking trail fenced off. Where you can walk and the trees you can see are still nice so its not exactly a complete waste to go over there, but you should be aware itll be a very short walk.
I have been going here for over a decade and it has always been lovely but the new upgrades and water feature they have installed have made it absolutely spectacular. This is a hidden gem that anybody interested in horticulture or botany or the tropics will enjoy.
Gorgeously lush! Amazing place to roam around, bird watch, see flowers and trees from other countries and enjoy the shade. Sit and listen to the calming waterfall and watch the lizards and iguanas run around.
Great Park right Off Hillsboro. Interesting small nature trail with some interesting botanical specimens. Tennis, basketball courts and a nice facility with bathrooms.
Beautiful walking trail with lots of colorful flowers, plants and trees. Small playground that kids enjoy with slides and swings. The rainforest and waterfall area are my favorites, but that section is under construction at the moment.
I absolutely love the arboretum, it is peaceful, inviting, has events and just a nice spot to escape for a little while. The park is truly amazing. Anybody will enjoy what the arboretum has to offer.
Lovely hidden gem! Never knew there was a japanese gardens right around the corner that I can visit daily for free. Plus a wonderful playground for the kids. Also.....on a side note, great pokè hunting! lol
What a surprise eith such international variety and many signs to tell you what the plant is. A very fun little hideaway for plant lovers
Hard to believe that a place like this in south florida has no entrance fee. Lots of exotic plants, as well as fruit trees. Theres almost always something fruiting to pick.
This is a very pretty park in Deerfield, FL. Theres beautiful landscaping and bamboo. Todays Pokemon event was awesome!
Nice walk through, interesting Flora from different areas. Excited for the back side to reopen.
This park is a diamond in the rough. Its a very beautiful tropical walking trail, playground for young children, and relaxing atmosphere. Its off Federal near Deerfield Beach. There is adequate parking and handicap accessible. While I was visiting there were several families enjoying a picnic. There are adequate benches placed throughout to rest or enjoy a good book. There are bathroom facilities available. I highly recommend this park.
I really wish they would fix up the park and the Arboretum soon! Such a pretty place but in need of repair!
Beautiful its still in construction on Phase 2 but its absolutely gorgeous for families to spend time
Playground is still closed, but the walk is open and not very crowded.
This place is so pretty and a great family place. Whether you are hunting Pokemon (3 gyms and 9 poke stops) or just getting some excercise walking this is the place to go. Always well kept and Ive never seen any trouble there.
Very peaceful and well maintained park.
Great Outdoor Park!
Located in the rear of Constitution Park, the wonderful Deerfield Beach Arboretum calls itself a tree zoo. The nine acre area has approximately two hundred trees from five different continents. In the arboretum you will find fruit trees, spice trees, exotic varieties as well as native, a butterfly garden, bamboo, wetlands, benches, picnic pavilions, a waterfall, ponds, flowers, and wildlife. Some of the wildlife you can expect to see included turtles, butterflies, wading birds, ducks, and even otters. On the day I visited I was lucky to see a hummingbird. I had never seen one in the wild before and it was a real thrill for me. There is also exercise stations along the half mile path that provide equipment as well as instructions. A rain forest at the cost of $140,000 was added to the park in 2016. There is a canal that runs along both sides of the park separating it from houses and businesses. The arboretum is currently maintained by the Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum. They offer free tours of the arboretum every Friday and on the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. If you are a group they request a $25 donation. You can meet in front of the recreation center for the tour.
Love going for walks in the trail. Currently under construction cannot wait for it to open again.
We love thisplace! Its a short walk. Maybe 1/2 mile or so but its packed with plants from all around the globe. Theres a playground, tennis and basketball courts too. A couple of small streams running through it. If youre searching for tranquility this is the park.
Beautiful! Doesnt look like much when you pull up but gorgeous trails. Did my maternity shoot there.
There are so many different kinds of palms, rare fruit trees, flowers, bamboos, and more. The park is small, not crowded, with a lof of shade and a lot of pokemons!
Very beautiful place, it has its own little river its a nice walk with some benches and perfect for photos. It has a playground, basketball court, tennis court.. always clean and quiet. A great place to have a moment to yourself or relax with significant others. Pokemon go players are welcome too. Its nice
Not bad still a work in progress, but still worth the visit.
Beautiful and peaceful park. My wife and I love to come here to play Pokemon Go.
Beautiful park, a true gem nestled in the middle of residential/shopping area, you might miss it while going down Hillsborough west(Target=to far). This park has facilities, parking, and is a great place to stay active. The garden has beautiful flowers and plenty of fruit trees, the waterfall makes for a nice sit with a book. Plenty of butterflies and nature to take in.
Great little park to visit with the family. All the plants and trees are clearly marked lots of wildlife, and great picture taking.
Great place to chill out! Beautiful
This is a fantastic park to do Pokemon at! Love the community days here. And its clean and just a nice walk around.
Peaceful and relaxing. Nicely done. Many different trees with their names on labels makes it easy to identify them. Relatively short walk around the park. But beautifully landscaped. Excellent for photo shoots. Playground for kids also available.
Great palm park..tennis..dogs r welcome
Ive been coming to this arboretum for over 20 years. I was doing a survey in Deerfield Beach and needed to identify the trees so I called the city to ask for help. Im from Massachusetts, no subtropical s there. Zeke Landis met me and showed me how to identify the following trees: Bottlebrush, Yellow Tabs, Cabbage Palms, Live Oak. Zeke be sure to teach the angels how to I.D. a Lignum Vitae. (look for the little tooth on the leaf).
Fun place for the kids.
Great place for quality time with your kids amazing view.
Peaceful.
Beautiful, peaceful park with wide variety of trees from Asia, Central America, Africa (they have baobab in their collection). I go there every couple of months and always find something new to see- seasonal fruits, blooming trees, butterflies. They also provide a guided tours in arboretum every Friday at 10 am and every first Saturday of a month at 10 am.
Lovely little park with shade, benches, exercise trail, tennis courts, nice walking path, handicap accessable, playground, and wonderful variety of trees including an amazing banyan tree. Leashed dogs welcome. Kid friendly.
Hidden gem
Awesome place if youre into flora. Also has sports like tennis. Has a kids area as well
Very nice park
Beautiful small park. Very well taken care of. Offers peace and tranquility. No hassles.
Beautiful trail w plenty of shade. And dogs allowed yay!
We went to the glow in the dark party there tonight. It was awesome. Glow in the dark mini golf, bounce house, games and much more.
This is a beautiful little park hiding in plain sight. Large collection of different trees and plants. It has a pleasant artificial creek and beautiful giant tree at the back of the park. Really nice place to take a stroll and also has a playground for kids as well as a basketball and tennis court.
Nice park with a nice trail. They need to focus on fixing the playground equipment. The slides have been broken for quite some time now.
Very nice to see alot of nature
Litterally the only reason i plan on going back to florida is for this beautiful park
Beautiful park all in all. You can take a stroll and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Families spend quality time together anywhere in the park, but there is a playground in the front of the park for the little ones. There is also a tennis and basketball court. Plus, if you play pokemon go, its one of the best parks around to play at. 11 pokestops, 3 gyms, and is a nest. Excellent for PoGo community days.
We like it here with our son. Great walk between the trees from around the world with informative signs, nice playground and tennis courts.
I found this gem 4 years ago where not too many people knew about it. It unfortunately is popular now. I wish it could of stayed hidden. This place is beautiful, there are trees everywhere along the path. Each tree is unique they have fruit and spice trees everywhere they various place to sit down and have your lunch with nature. Theres this wide open spot under these massive trees that give you shade, theres stumps to sit on and a perfect place for a party our a picnic
A wide selection of trees with a path leading through the park. Unfortunately some of the plaques are no longer legible or the trees they identify have died.
Nice place to take a stroll. Quite an improvement from last year
Nice place to walk.. playground area is very hot their is no shade for the kids to play...nice for exploring all the different plants, trees and a wonderful water fall area
The best scenery super clean.
This has always been a great place to spend time, play tennis or just walk. With the recent renovations, the park really looks terrific! So well maintained, with new wellness stations and gorgeous additions to the nature walk, including a small waterfall in the Japanese garden section.Come jog, play tennis, have a picnic or just enjoy nature!
Beautiful park!
Interesting, international collection of trees.
Small park. Has a nice playground for the kids and a walking path, but the path is fenced off from the hurricane and who knows when they will get around to taking care of it. Good for Pokemon go.
Beautiful outdoors. Nice place to take a break and read or relax for a few.
Awesome collection of plants from all over the world.
Lovely and beautiful!
Much improved. I hope they paint the new metal fence so it doesnt look so ugly.
Cell phone service is terrible in the parking lot area if you are trying to play Pokémon Go. Especially if you have AT&T. Otherwise it is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. Handicap and regular. Being an after care location, please watch out for children in the parking lot during the week. (Should always watch) however it is busier with pickups around 4:30-6 pm.
Wonderful variety of foliage .Relaxing atmosphere with sweet ponded nooks ( not my idea ).
Very nice park for family...
Excellent! Highly recommended!
We played some BBALL.
Beautiful Arboretum. Very clean and peaceful trail. There is a cute playground to bring your children but that is usually dirty.
Really awesome grounds, great for a stroll or a work out.
Great place for walking
Great park...many different types of trees ( i am from new york) quiet ...every one greets you...my dog loves it and so do, and I love the flowers and the new waterfalls areaI
A nice shady park for a walk with so many kinds of trees.
