Deerfield beach is truly a fun filled, relaxing place to spend the day or weekend. There are very good restaurants, with a variety of different food and atmosphere . The beach life is lovely and relaxing. Collect pretty seashells depending on the time of year, take a walk at sunset, kayaking and paddle boarding are favorites. Fly a kite at sunset . Having dinner at J B ‘s. Overlooking the beach is relaxing and fun. Bicycling is also an option too. Have fun. Cheers

I had an amazing experience with my friends from just being in high school finding a great beach to hang out. Amazing restaurants nearby to go to.

I love spending time with my kids in this place. They love to fish and we always have fun. In this holiday season is a great option for the whole family, in the pier it is possible to find benches to sit, as well as faucet with water in several points. If you do not have fishing equipment you can buy it right at the entrance of the pier, as well as baits and sunscreen. It is good to go with a hat or take a umbrella, you must bring water to drink.

The staff was informative and kind. Everything else was listed or common sense.

This place is so beautiful and relaxing. I had so much fun fishing here. I saw jellyfish, a sea turtle, a shark, and all kinds of cool fish.

Beautiful day today but the fact that there are so many people out on the beach and their not wearing masks is alarming. And now we can see why the virus is at an all time high in Florida, SMH! And still rising, what will it take for people to understand this Pandemic is not anywhere close to over? It will not be anytime soon at this rate.

Its a very enjoyable location, The pier entry fee is only $1 to get on or $4 to fish. It provides a great view and a the fisherman are very friendly. The only con is there were many fish guts on the ledge at the end of the pier and wished they cleaned more.

I have traveled all over the world literally and this is still one of my favorite places on Earth. The water is always clean and the sand is never rocky, and the Sun is almost always shining. I have met some of the best people in the country here. And the crowd is always fun. There is plenty of parking and shops and restaurants but with the fisherman town appeal

I took my small cousins to the beach and we enjoyed walking on the pier. I would come back again. FYI: Parking is expensive though $4 per hour. I parked by the café.

Aside from all the Jehovah Witness sub stations, occasional drunken homeless person strolling down the boardwalk, or the one that lives on the wooden boardwalk on the south end next to the bathroom its great! Two nice restaurants on the water, volleyball courts, and a pier! Oh and the new pavilion is half done on the north end next to Oceans and JBs.

This pier is perfect, always clean and the staff here are so nice. Also, a great diner with good food right at the beginning.

This place was amazing. There is a restaurant on the edge of the pier where I got one of the best club sandwiches I have ever had. The view was of the coast line up and down with birds and patrons and watching Up and down of the coastline.They also offer fishing. There is an option to rent a fishing pole and tackle walk out to the end of the pier and catch some incredible fish

It is one of the best beaches in Florida. They have entrance charge at the pier of 1 dollar. If you like fishing you can spend hours here. Come in early spend time under sun and do some skinny dipping. Take bath and head to any of the restaurants near the beach. Here you get tons of options to eat at. Ocean 234 is one of the popular option.

Great pier for fishing. It goes far enough out to get to some deeper water for bigger fish. It also has plenty of rocks for tons of fish to hide as well making it great no matter what spot youre fishing.

I drove an hour and a half to get here and fish I had looked online hours ahead and it had said it was open 24 hours turns out I get there and they were closed. Truly upset. Who doesn’t update hours?

Great pier, and very clean. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. I didnt enjoy the beach, but it appeared extremely clean and not crowded at all.

The view from the pier is beautiful. People use to fish at the end of the pier. Actually parents take their children for fishing. You have to pay 1 usd but that’s almost nothing. The place is well kept. And pictures are nice too!!

This is by far one of my favorite beaches. It feels more like a locals spot than a tourist beach. The pier is a nice place to spend the morning with my son fishing. It can sometimes be hard to get on the fish, but if you fish for live bait near the end of the pier and use those, you will have much more luck getting on the bigger fish. If you are struggling, strike up a convo with a local and they will typically divulge a secret or two.

Beautiful beach. Sand is not quite as fine and white as Naples, but it is a nice wide beach with clean sand. I didnt see a lot of shells. Water was clear and blue. Close to restaurants. Parking was a little hard to find.

Was there first time on vacation.Very nice place to fish, hospitable staff, will tell you everything you need to know, 4$ for fishing. Lots of restaurants and bars near. All you need for a good day!

$1 per person to walk and what have you. $4 to fish i believe. Towards the end of the pier the boarded rails have cutting boards for cutting fish i believe. Do not touch. But i recommend not going to the end. No better than the middle section where there are a few benches to enjoy a nice breeze.

If youre looking for a large amount of water and sand youll find it here. Has a pier thats open 24 hours on the weekend (costs $1 to enter or $4 if youre fishing), a bunch of bars and restaurants and a Wyndham hotel very close by. Closer to the street is a series of some picnic tables converted by a thatch style pitched roof. Various parking available for a fee. Overall great time.

This beach was clean. The water was nice. They have volleyball nets. There are all kinds of restaurants, stores, and bars are within walking distance. If I could go back I would go back today and I know I would have a good time there.

Nice fishing pier. Not bad prices if visiting and dont want to lug gear around. $16 for entrance, rod, tackle and bait seems very fair. Didnt see any fish caught but a nice day.

For $1.00 this is an awesome experience. The upgrades to the beach and surrounding area is just fantastic. I definitely hope they keep this place maintained long enough for it to payoff in the long run

Very beautiful place, good looking at photos. I just dont understand why this place cost 1 dollar for entrance. I was walking at the beach and had no money and time go to hotel to grab some cash, so I didnt visit it.

Really nice beach. It has a boardwalk with good restaurants and youre able to fish off the pier for a couple of dollars. Also, it has about 8 volley ball courts.

Took a nighttime stroll out to the end of the pier. Small fee to enter but the sound of the sea, the wind and the smell of the sea air was so fresh, it was absolutely worth it. If you’re into fishing it seems like an ideal spot. Be careful of unattended fishing rods if you visit in the dark.

Awesome place to visit! The beach was clean and the water clear... By far the best beach Ive visited on the Atlantic Florida coast. I will definitely come back and stay longer next time around

I was a tourist staying in Pompano Beach and wanted to fish. At first, I looked at Anglins pier but only half of it was open and had been that way for a very long time. I chose Deerfield Intl fishing pier instead. It was EXTREMELY windy (30-35 mph from the east) the day I went and the surf was pretty rough. There was only one local resident fishing while I was there. He said the fishing is normally pretty good there, but no one caught anything that day. The pier is almost 1000 feet long and is very well maintained. It provides a fantastic view!

Great look on the beach and the see. You can see some of the fish in the water from the pier. Also, fishermen have an interesting catch occasionally. We also saw a turtle in the water.

This is the best place to rent paddle boards. It is extremely cheap.

They charge you to walk to pier. I thought this very odd. Hard to dodge all the fishers hooks while walking. Not a good place for kids with alot of energy . If you like fishing this may be a good place for you. If u can get around the large crowds

Nice outdoors place, okay for canoe and fishing.

I understand the whole covid thing but 8 people on the pier and 9 in line to come in makes no sense.Having a session people should be notified you have sessions a bit waist of money if u want to stay whole day you have to pack up your things exit and pay again shmm.

Went swimming and sunning for a couple of hours and was nice, clean. Theres a strong riptide so you pretty much have to get out and walk back to your entry spot or get a really good workout swimming against it. Parking is expensive, but it probably keeps the traffic down.

Nice little pier. Saw someone catch a giant snapper. The poles they rent out are just okay.

I live in the area and this pier is the perfect place to just relax and either catch some fish or just enjoy the walk out to the end. Deerfield beach does a fantastic job of keeping the pier clean and in good conditions. They also have bait and rental fishing rods so you dont need to walk with fishing gear.

Beautiful, clean and well-maintained. This pier gives you a nice view of the water and is never too crowded. Parking is easy to find and plentiful. There are a ton of good restaurants nearby as well.

Great views! Its awesome to watch the sun rise from here. I would reccomend sitting down and ordering some buttermilk pancakes to eat while you watch the sun rise.

Absolutley amazing beach. Wasnt very crowded, was extremely clean, and the water was about the same temperature as it was outside. We went in February and they were having a festival there. Absolutely amazing and would go back in a heartbeat.

Had the experience 2yrs ago, its a pier...not much to it. Paid $1 just to walk pass the gate so I could walk on the pier. It was ok until I passed by the ppl fishing there and the smell of fish was overwhelmed.

The pier and the beach or the first place to relax and have family fun as well as grill out with those who you love. I recommend more time on the beach relax their spirit and their mind and have fun.

And we just left Deerfield beach l fishing pier we paid cash got no receipt. Stayed for five minutes and I needed to leave for a few minutes to come back the attendant there said we its only one time if we leave we have to pay again washroom facilities are off the pier before you enter the pier. 1120-sept 23

Beautiful. All re-done. I love the fresh running water cutting boards installed! Now its up to the people who use this place TO HAVE SOME RESPECT and keep it nice for years to come. Already I see so much litter and carving into the wood and plastic. Yeah I get it! It keeps your pole from falling over. So would a $3 holder at Walmart.

Well kept pier in a scenic area. At the front of the pier there is a giant screen that live streams a camera installed underwater at the end of the pier. Definitely worth checking out!

Its beautiful but they are very strict about everything. When I was there it felt like a life guard was constantly looking over my shoulder. Great if you just want to lay on the beach and go knee deep in the water. Snorkeling is not allowed here.

This was a fun place to go to fish. We were able to see the shoreline and the beach area. There were lots of people catching fish from sharks to small bait fish. The pier was clean. There was a small fee to go on the pier as well as a small bait shop at the end of the pier.

All and all a great area. The pier is amazing to go fishing or just take a stroll on, the beach is clean and well maintained, and the local restaurants top it all off as one of my favorite hangout spots.
