Friendly and welcoming staff. Its good to keep children interested in science and the outdoors. Very cool animals that you can see and touch. Experience science with all your senses, except maybe taste. Not sure if you can taste the science.

Far from home, but lots of fun

I am glad that Davis has a science museum for kids and I like all that they have a lot of special programs. It is a bit small. I would like to see it expand and develop more exhibits.

Staff very interested in providing an interesting/educational science experience geared to k-12. Evening experiences geared toward teens. Keeps community informed with event/exhibit updates in local newspaper.

A little-known service that Explorit provides is their birthday parties: if your kid is *that* kid--you know, the one with a bug collection, a bunch of magnifying glasses, a book full of dinosaurs, and a penchant for paper airplanes--then this is the place. We recently held our daughters fifth birthday here, and it was the smoothest kid party weve ever experienced. Two staff members set up activity stations (we did the dinosaur theme) with actual and replica fossils, dinosaur masks, plaster-of-paris fossil casting, and more. Every kid found something to do, and they had a fifteen minute sit down where they got to touch gigantic Madagascar cockroaches and see the bearded dragon, and then the kids got to go roam the actual museum and do the regular hands-on experiments. Staff was great, everyone had a great time, there was enough space so no one made anyone else melt down...best birthday ever. She wants to do it again.

Meh. Someone’s house converted into a museum / science exploration center. Can burn maybe 30-40 mins here with a child. I’m glad it’s not more than $5, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

I took my nephews there and we had a blast it was so much fun and I learned stuff too

The experiments are ok. They kept my 3 grandkids amused for an hour and a half. Ages 9-13. The place is rundown. Not much effort goes into taking care of it and it shows. The good thing is it was only $5.00 a person. Glad I went dont need to go again.

Entirely worth the stop. We went here just as a pit stop during a long drive. My son loved it.

I go to the attached park for my job 5 days weekly and the instructors from Explorit are routinely guiding children through the park helping them explore all the vegetation the park has to offer. Its really nice to witness. Only negative is that the kids are loud and they take over a lot of space.

Went he with my grandaughter and her 4th grade class.We enjoy it very much the staff provided science activities for the children which they truly enjoyed.After the projects we had lunch on this beautiful landscape.Nice outing for summer daytime getaway.

My grandson loves Exploit because the exhibits allow him to explore them in his own way

So fun for kids! Not too big, but lots of hands on activities :) Only dissapointment was that we didnt get to touch the reptiles.
