Clean, lots of families and the ducks were friendly

It has a very good scenery if you looks at the right places. Sadly, water is really dirty looking. Great place to walk around thou, and the playgrounds are really cool!

Great place for a soccer game!

A nice little park to walk a track and have your kid play on the playground. My childs school had a walk a thon here and it was perfect for a crowd to walk and then pavilions to be able to eat. There is a dog park to be able to bring your dog and just let them run around.

So Ive been trying to walk daily just around the neighborhood. On one of my walks, my neighbor mentioned a walking path around the ponds in the park. Oh my! It is a lovely walk if you are into nature. My pictures dont do it justice. It isnt a long walk, but heart rate is up, and yet it is calming to me. The park has a track, dog walking area, playground, covered tables and more. But for the moment the path around the ponds (or is it lake?) is the wonderland!

Actually we were at the dog park. Big shade trees and lots of room to run. No one else was there, it was a nice convenient stop off of 75 to let our dogs run!

Nice little place right off the main road. Pet friendly. Lack of bathroom access is not good. So much room for activities. Be sure to bring sunscreen.

Fun park for everyone (thing). Have the turf field for your sporty kid, playground equipment for your younger kids, trail and track for your runners, and doggy park for your fur baby! You could spend hours here.

I’ve been playing at the play ground since I was 7 or 8 this was my first time back in a while but it was so nice to see they kept it up it was still a great time and enjoyed playing on an updated playground. The park was clean and beautiful to spend a nice afternoon with friends and their kids.

Beautiful day for our walkathon at Lakeshore Park! The picnic shelter was clean, the restrooms were open, and the grounds were pristine!

We love this place. Our girls use the track to run and improve their times. The soccer field is well kept. The playground is not large but very popular and includes a zip line. There is a walking bridge near the pond which has geese in the Spring. The fence could use some repairs at the dog park, and the pavilion can get a little gross from the geese in late Spring, but other than that it’s really nice.

Went there to watch a football game. Not a lot of seating and fans are allowed to set up chairs on the track between the stands and the field. Besides the chairs, you had kids playing on the track, someone had remote control cars on the track and there were people trying to get a run in. Perfect setup for an accident. Also, there was so much noise coming from the track that you couldnt hear the refs on the field. Parking was an issue too. This is becoming a problem at most local sports complexes. I will say that the playground at Lakeshore is nice.

Beautiful restoration, Im glad the big boy carp survived the construction. Well stocked with bluegill and over populated with common snapping turtles. Dalton parks and rec do a wonderful job for this community, bless em all.

I been going here since I was a child and the park has been improving year after year. I had couple dates here and i had a great time.

Very nice park we took great grandchildren on a recent visit to Georgia. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained they really loved it especially the zip line.

Wonderful place to take people of all ages. They have a great playground, a high end soccer field, and a beautiful lake and community garden. Fun for the whole family!

Love this place!! Been going there all my life. Relaxing. Peaceful. The upgrade is nice but Im going to miss the way it was.

My daughter and I really enjoy this park. She loves the child friendly zip line and the fact that she can ride her bike. Our puppy loves the dog park

The City Of Dalton has for this time put our money to good use and created a great place to play and meet. If people could be trained to pick up after themselves that would be great but you cannot but buy everything.

Great Park! It is always clean and is very family friendly. It has fields that are accessible and tennis courts with a walking track! Definitely a place to visit in Dalton!

Thay need to keep the property mowed. really high grass but its a ok place to fish

Nice place for tennis with a number of courts with lights....dont think there is a restroom tho unless I just didnt see it....if there is one, a sign pointing the way would have garnished a higher star!

Perfect park took away a star because the geese ganged up on me and stole my wallet, if it was a one on one I would have won.

Great park with plenty to do. The nature trails is a must. Soccer, playgrounds, Frisbee golf, duck pond, nature trails, walking trail, baseball fields and a kayak launch. This place has it all.

Great community garden!

Really nice park with a huge playground for kids. Big lake next to the playground provides nice scenery. The only flaw is theres ALOT of Goose poop everywhere lol

This place has public restrooms, an indoor facility, a walking track, soccer/football field, and a playground.

Not a good park for hot sunny days. No shade whatsoever for the kids park. Someone needs to build a cover for this park. It is a nice new kids playground, but man it is hot when the sun is out.

Pretty areA, very nice playground. But attached to it is a dog park, and so there is a lot of dog poo on the playground and picnic area. We left.
