So beautiful and well-kept! Lovely walking trail. Really great place for kids to run around. Will definitely be coming back! (Had to edit down to 4 stars for the lack of a public restroom).

Nice place to go walking if your trying to get some exercise or if youre trying to meet up with a friend or just want to walk around to think about stuff going on in your life.

I love taking my family here for walks. Very clean and well kept.

We go here to have a picnic and the kiddos love to play after! They have a great track that the whole family can do together!!

Great walking path with interactive areas for kids along the path. My kids love the playground. Its well kept and clean except for there are no real bathrooms just one dirty smelly porta potty.

Best part about this park is the walking trail. Its a .375 mile loop that runs along a creek. Lots of people use it daily but it does not feel crowded. Port-a-potty on site.

This is a beautiful well maintained park in Dalton, Ga. We enjoy taking our dog for a walk here. They also have a playground for the kids and thinking activities for the kids along the paved walking path. There is a stream running down one side of the park. There are a variety of trees in the park making this walk a real thing of beauty as the leaves were in full fall color when we were there.

Nice, quiet & clean park close to everything & you wouldnt even know its there if you drive too fast by. Most of the walking path is shaded.

No skateboarding or roller skating not sure why honestly..but otherwise nice park with an open field.

Family friendly. Pretty clean. Play group is a little run down, but still fun for the kids.

Nice park for walking. And if you play Pokemon Go it has several spin stood and a couple of gyms. Yeah I play. The park has an play area for children that seems nice. Picnic area for nice time out with your family.

A nice place to walk with someone or alone. The park has a little playground for the kids and a nice big open grassy area for let dogs run and get some exercise/playtime. It is well maintained as well. Its a good place to park the vehicle and go walking up and down Tibbs road and shugart Rd too because of the wide sidewalk that runs alongside the road and Dalton State is nearby too. I like this park

My kids love playing at this park, always clean and lots of room to run and walk around the track with a good sized playground.

Its one of the nicer parks on that half of Dalton its typically clean as long as others are doing there part to help playground is usually covered with kids a track to walk and run is set up with mile markers and such only one porta potty for the bathrooms there.

Great park for walking. My kids always love playing on the playground and in the creek. It does get crowded and parking is limited so earlier in the day is best.

This is a great little place to walk your animal or have a picnic, or get some exercise. It is conveniently located in Dalton near Walmart, home Depot, eateries, high school, and Banks. There is a walking track, a stream, a pavilion, a playground, and lots of Pokemon stops! Really a nice place to take a lunch, or take your family, or go alone for exercise.

This park is good for walking, running, and playing with kids. Playground is good for 2+ years old. No swings, but plenty of slides. Just watch out for snakes in the creek!

Great playground to run off some energy! 2yo and 4yo could manage all equipment by themselves, with room to grow.

This is a nice tranquil park with a hiking trail right across the road. Play area for the kids, bike trail and walking trail with mile/lap markers. Pet friendly, doggy doo stations and plenty of trash cans to clean behind your pet.

Excellent place for walking/running. Kids do love the playground. Older kids have space for frisbee, soccer or baseball. Can be a conducive place for reading and study.

A wonderful park with a stream, gazebo, walking path, and a nice play area. It would get a 5 star from me except for lack of swings and proximity to a busy road.

Lots of open space for playing and a creek off to the side. Theres also a track for running/walking/bling. The only thing missing is a swing set

I like to go here to meet with friends, relax, talk, walk, ride bikes, etc... Its a nice park. :) How ever if you have to use the restroom I recommend going elsewhere.

It was nice and quite. A lot of trees for shade when your walking! I would recommend it.

Very small park. Used mostly for the walking track surrounding the park. There is a small awning with tables to sit at, and kids play area.Overall, the park is pretty small with few amenities.However, the atmosphere and friendly people makes it one of my go to places for exercises.

Nice field for the kids to play in. They playground equipment is in good repair. Walking track did not have any holes in it. Also there is a dog waste receptacle. I am not sure if there are bags stocked I usually carry my own.

Great park with a walking track and plenty of seating near the playground in the form of covered picnic tables. There are also several uncovered picnic tables and a plethora of benches. If youre into Pokemon Go, there is a gym and a gaggle of pokestops that are easy to snag as you walk the track. Last, there is access to the stream in a couple of places as well.

Nice walking path, trees have information about them explaining the.name and type. Nice playground, has a free little library to take and leave books and lots of Pokemon Go fun here too.

I came here looking for a place to hang out and make burgers on the grill. Neither of those thing happened. There is no where to grill if the place is busy

This is a great park! Plenty to do for kids with the playground, lots of room to play on the grass, a walking track with markers for how many laps for a mile (or more), a nice covered sitting area with benches and the best place in town for Pokestops (a dozen if you get all of them in the area)!

Great place for Pokemon Go. Has a port-a-potty, but seems like it hasnt been cleaned... ever. Or replaced.

Civitan Park is a very good place for Family activities. They have a walking jogging path and some bbq pits and a big climbing and sliding facility for the kids.

The park has great hours and a fun playground, but if you are there late, theres some places where lighting is less than splendid.

Im sure it was a decent place 20 years ago. It needs attention...the playground equipment is in disrepair and needs a good pressure washing at a minimum.

Its nice when its not crowded. In spring and summer its crowded all the time. Not a peaceful place to be in those seasons.

The only thing I dont like about this park is the hours. Other than that, its a great place to go for walking, it has a nice play area for those with children, it has a good amount of space, and theres also a creek close by in case you need to cool off.
