My kids love Boulder Park. Inthink is one of the best DFW MTB trails. I like it because I take them and just hit the blue trails and most of it it’s easy enough for them and if info by myself the red is challenging enough to enjoy it and get my heart pumping! I would recommend this trail to anyone that likes to mountain bike I think there’s something for all riding levels here.
This place has something for everyone. The trails are amazing and can be a challenge. There are a number of trails to ride and all are maintained quite well. Just know that if you start a loop, you more likely than not have to finish it before you can exit it.
Spent four and a half hours running drills through the park . Made it to the stream and skipped rocks like I was a child again. I took my tension bands with me hooked them around trees and got a shoulder chest back and arms workout at the same time . Beautiful weather. Wonderfully cared for Park. But the trails are not marked well at all bring a compass LOL or if youre new like me youll be lost for hours but you wont care :-)
Its a pretty big track but beautiful view on a nice day. Its just wonderful to get a look at and its enjoyable to see. Good for walking or riding bikes and its good a beginner course and a intermediate route.
Challenging trails. Pretty sure I fell off my bike more than a few times; bring your helmet!
Fun place to ride. Varied terrain over mutiple loops.
Great trails with some tough climbs and fun, fast descents.
I am definitely a beginner, and these trail signs make it easy to stay on the right path. Trail is great for all types of riding levels.
My favorite local mt bike trail
Great park to go mountain biking. Easy trails
The most fun Ive had on a trail in all DFW. This trail is maintained by DORBA which is a group of volunteers that also have families and other priorities. Dont put the blame on staff for a less than messy trail. Its up to everybody to pitch in and do there part. Thanks to all the great people of DORBA.
Great maintained trail for biking. Has some technical spots and is a great ride
Fun trail. Not too tough. Easy to follow signs.
Well maintained and fast! Pure fun!
Love the mix of flowy and technival trail.
Really good place to ride your MTB.
Nice bike park. Any body selling a bike?
Great place for beginners amd intermediate riders
Badass mountain bike trails. Smooth descents and technical climbs make for a variety of terrain. Pick your own adventure with harder options clearly marked by the red arrows. Skull hill gets me stoked af; throw any spare skulls in the pile.Edit: Fall has arrived at Boulder park and it is phenomenal! Hike, bike, or run this trail while the orange, red, and yellow leaves blow in the wind and quilt the woods floor. This is my favorite Mountian biking park now, and I love it even more in the fall. It is absolutely gorgeous and for less than an hours drive in the DFW area it feels like you are far away from the metroplex.
Okay for hiking but better for bikes and their traffic
Great trails! Not for beginners though.
It was an amazing experience. The parking place goodThey need to fix some broken road signsMust go of u like mtv but make sure to bring water n energy drink cause ur gonna need it n if its u first time always wear gloves
They didnt have signs to let you know how to get back my family I got lost i prefer cedar ridge preserve in Duncanville
Blue trail for beginners and Red trail for intermediate.
Best mtb ride in 10 mile radius of Dallas proper.
It was a nice trail but seemed better suited for bikers more so than hikers. The trails werent very well marked and the map near the parking lot was quite faded.
Love that this park dries out so fast, however very slippery when wet. Awesome mtb trail.
Excellent mtb trail recommended
Great mountain biking park
Fun trails great for all levels of riders
Cool spot. Not a terrible location, good climbs and terrain
Nice park, but be warned it is better for biking than walking
Good bike trail. Has some technical climbs and a few fast decents. No real features to speak of.
Firdt at all it is my stress killer, once i start to ride in my bike everything else can wait and is a good place to enjoy, for MTB riders have a little of everything some tech loops but has bypass for begginers, love this place, one of the best trails.
Loved the trail. Great flow.
Great MTB trail. Well taken care of.
Great trail, nice mix of features, even a couple of jumps. Shady. Never feels like you’re riding in such a small area.
Blue trail was great for getting back in the game. Elevation changes as nge wasnt too insane. Gotta watch those roots tho. Ill be back
Kudos to the trail steward and crews for the work theyve been doing to keep this a really good ride and even improve it! Glad they can keep it open more because of the good drainage. Thank you!
First mtb trail ride I did and wow I loved everything about it. I stuck to the blue trail and even so it still had great climbs and drops will be going back for more.
Well maintained trails. Thanks DORBA stewards.
Great trail. A little challenging compared to most trails in the DFW area.
I love this mountain bike trail its about 11 miles long and well marked.
One of my favorite MTB trails, a good mix of challenges!
Great place to ride, especially since everywhere else is always closed!
The A loop is incredible, one of my favorites in Texas. Make sure you follow the red arrows for the best trails (blue=easier and shorter) B and C are a little boring, but good for a workout and D & E are pretty solid as well. I usually ride all of them and then loop abound to do A again.
Great place to walk and eelax
Good hiking trail just outside of Dallas. The mountain biking looked good too, but I have yet to bike there. The trails are easy to follow and not too long, they are also well kept. A river running by the park is somewhat littered and you can hear the highway most of the time you are hiking, other than that this is a perfect park.
Its fun and good place to bike
Went for a walk here. Very nice, I bet biking it is even more fun.
Ive rode most the trails in Dallas, and Id rate this one in my top 3. Its well designed! Its a big trail, with lots of ground cover. Flows well! (Actually has bike tools to tune up your bike and put air in your tires). Thanks for the hard work volunteers!
You can get lost in this beautiful place
After several months of rain period in which the park remained closed, right now it is in perfect conditions, clean and even with improvements in the route. (01/2019)
Another favorite place to go mountain biking and hiking. Well maintained trail system, a couple of picnic tables (no grills of course) and a portable toilet.
First of all I loved the trail, Super Fun Ride. I mostly ride the Trinity River bottom and gravel roads solo. Boulder Park’s parking lot was full when I started. Two hours of riding, I didn’t see a single person. The trails had everything. It was smooth, tight turns, fast, slow, rocky, bridges, beautiful scenery, TIGHT TURNS and riding through small trees. These trails are well maintained.I have one request for the people that maintain the trails. I got lost and needed to exit the park. I had to keep riding forward to find the exit. It would be great if there was a fast exit sign route to the parking lot or side streets for emergencies.
Wonderful as usual, great trail, just make sure its dry and open before you go.
Awesome trail for multiple skill levels. Great trails to learn new skills as the advanced sections are optional. I would definitely come back here to ride again!
Great place to ride or run!
Fun challenging trail to test your handling and conditioning
Awesome place to go bike riding, a lot of twisty turns and nice climbs and descents. Great maintenance of the trails by the local DORBA org. Come check it out!
Great trail for intermediate and beginners
Great ride, don’t let your car get broken in to.
Pretty sweet mtb park. Really amazing how much trail is packed into such a small area, and if you didnt see it on a map youd never know it. 12+ miles. Some cool features built in, like several good jumps and a few platform drops, a couple of which are pretty intense (but very optional). During the spring its so dense with vegetation it almost feels like a rainforest, which is pretty nice when its 100 degrees out bc it keeps it fairly cool. Definitely recommend.
Good trails to ride. Better for a full suspension bike In my opinion. Pretty well kept up.
One of the best trails in Dallas.
Great mtb trails here. Level of difficulty range from easy to advanced. Plenty of jumps in loop a. 1 drop in loop a. 3 more drops in loop d. Wanna take it easy? Stick to the blue arrows. Red arrows sections are more advanced
Mainly a bike park but love running here too
Best mountain bike trail in dfw
I like the tight turns and going between trees.I like the different scenes from tight woods to meadow in seconds. Ride along the river is awesome. Its a good workout and great ride!
Awesome place to ride your bike in the middle of the city. There are plenty of technical sections to have a blast, or bypasses in case you just want to get your fitness on.
Fun mountain bike trail, mostly shaded. Varying from rocky to sandy. Medium difficulty. Difficult sections have bypasses. Trail is mostly well-marked. Managed by DORBA, check their website for trail status before you go. Dont ride if it is closed and/or muddy.
Went to a party back here, great hidden gem like being in the country but in the city.
Good place to meditate.
Its a place to hike and bike. Does it really need a review? Clean, well managed DORBA trails, as usual. There is a porta potty on the property if you need it. Get outside, Dallas!
Big
Great bike trails with well groomed and diverse terrain. Both beginners and advanced riders will enjoy riding here.
Great walking trail
Awesome
Great local tail. Could use more parking
Very nice trail.. well maintained, fast, technical, fun to ride. Only thing that need is a hose to wash the bike.
Well maintain nice people both hikers and bikers
Nice and secluded. Not really a place for great views but great for a nice private walk.
Great trail with a lot of variety. The red arrows take you through the tough sections.
Great bike park
Cool park. Id go again
A blast! One of our favorites!
Its a staple of the Dorba trail system
Great park had a great time riding
Great park for mountain biking. Intermediate to advanced trails.
