Im sure there is more to see than what Ive seen of the park. My family and a few of my daughters friends walked some of the trails. Lots of trash, smelled of what I can only assume was weed killer. And people just seem to sit in their cars in the parking lot. Glad to have some green space in the city.
Great Green/Blue Trails. Well maintained. Little to no water buildup on trail. Confined trail- surrounded by trees. Windy route! Overall experience 8/10!!
Next to a liquor store which seems a little sketchy. Nice park though. Just soccer fields and trails.
Fun park, with bike paths and natural hiking trails. Big open spaces for frisbee, soccer, or just running. Great biking and walking trails, and pretty well maintained. Cant wait to explore some more when the weather gets better. Interesting Creek to walk beside, and the kids had fun on the playground. Little Oasis in the city!!!
Took my kids that play. Social distancing was being practice, my kids and I had a good time and Im happy to say we are all still healthy and safe. Thanks be to God
Great outdoor Soccer Park with bike trails near by...Does get wet when it rains!
Its so pretty ..kidos just love to run around the Huge trees
This park is pretty big. Half is nature preserve and thick wooded area for a nice hike.
Nice natural Park with hiking and mountain biking trails within City limits.
Great bike trails. Lots of fun!
(HEAVEN AND HELL) Follow the creek and imagine the earth is the spirit the water the flesh. The earth directs the water because it cant defeat it. The spirit must control the flesh. Or be flooded by it. ITS THE WAY.
Nice place for children to play and was great walking area... Could be a few more bbq grills and benches.
Really great trail with lots of shade. Big parking lot
Love this place ....plenty of space for everyone to enjoy...my dogs cant get enough of the trails!!! Best place to walk at the end of the day with my dogs!!!
Love that trail. Just mud the last few days due to the rain
Great park I enjoy going there exercise and walking
Great place to just come and chill and take a walk with your hubby and the dog
Not safe for anyone to go walking or jogging on their own. But, it has some scenic areas with water views.
This Cali MTB rider loved it. Many levels and bypass options for the less aggressive aproach. Skinnies and hop opportunities as well as tight gates and steep downhills with challenging mini-climbs full of roots and rock.
Lots of options to choose from. Green is harder than blue, but still fun. Go ride some miles.
My son and wife enjoy the afternoon at the park
Need to plant more trees desperately around the parking and the pathway. The creek is full of trash, and old shopping carts.
This was my first time and It does not look good at all
Nice shady tables. Clean and pleasant
Love this park have for over 25 yrs. The track is awesome for speed walking, jogging, cycling or just a relaxing stroll. The park area has grills, picnic tables and a play area for children. Not so good after heavy rain, quite muddy, both park and track.
Good park, but Im unclear on the distance between the markers.
I recommend this park for everyone from runners to bikers, nature lovers to families. Early Saturday mornings seem to be the most adventurous days. One day, I ventured off the concrete joggers trail and followed this opening I saw between the trees. It seemed extremely .. well .. I dont want to say scary but it was just erie how quiet it got on the other side of the bush. Anyhow, I saw dirt trails which I walked along and eventually saw rabbits, turtles, and people riding their horses along the trail! Then theres this one part somewhere off in there a TP where maybe someone built a club house or so. Park is in a safe neighborhood and stretches from Royal/Greenville on down to Walnut Hill. Believe it or not, there used to be a large dense (city Forest) up in there before the demolition and organized construction. Anyhow, check out the pics and if you ever need help from a neighborhood realtor, give me a call. #ArmaniHomesRealtyGroup
ITs great
Has only one entrance off Greenville rd and bring a suv huge holes not good for small cars like bmws no bathroom here i could have sworn i actually saw a drug deal happening so be careful here we didnt stay long didnt feel safe
A good park overall. Lots of field space towards the back, a small but nice kids playground, lots of access to White Rock Trail - and, if you walk back across the fields to the woods, there are hike/bike/equestrian trails to explore in the Harry S. Moss nature preserve area. If you poke around enough, you can find artifacts and fragments of the horse race track that used to be there.
Pretty good for a long walk but not wery good to walk dogs due to high bicycle traffic going on almost every weekend.
Great area for kids. Playground, open field and a covered area 4 older people to sit and watch like I did.
Amazing way to escape into the woods, but located in the center of Dallas
From a great workout out spot to engagement photos, this is my go-to park.
Nice place airy and the quietness is awesome
Fun trail in the middle of North Dallas.
This park has a fun bike trail, came here with my friend and did a couple rounds. Weather was great and the trail weaves around the trees nicely. The change of slope in the blue trail is a lot of fun. go slow the first time to get familiarized with it because there are a couple of surprises here and there.
We went to a soccer game there that my niece was playing in. It was big about 4 games going on at the same time. All the people were so friendly.Enjoyed the game.
The 5 stars is for the environment, but for all of you people who like to walk be mindful of the bikers. Some of them are real jerks! Please be careful. Also be on the look out for homeless people as well. I will be real happy when they pave over the parking lot as well. Other then that this is my favorite place to get a quick workout in.
This is a VERY large park with a walking trail that extends from the parking lot at corner of Royal/Greenville Ave all the way to White Rock Lake! There is ample room for playing sports or BBQing (there are a few grills and picnic tables) or just a good place to wander and explore the creek or the Nature Preserve in the back of the park which has many trails through it. The parking lot can be quite treacherous as it has so many huge potholes that fill up with water - careful driving in!! Has a great playscape for the kiddos too. One of my favorite places to hike in the buff ;)
They broke my glass from the truck while i was on the trail...becarful
Great trails. Well maintained. Fairly popular but doesnt ever seem to be crowded.
Real nice
I love training here (run, bike, ride horses). Close enough to everything but open enough that you can really experience nature right in the city.
Very nice hiking/biking trails. Could use some clean up from the flooding.
Cool park, lots of trash after a flood.
Trail cleanliness is not a part of this experience. Views of a dump collection site make it less inviting. However - the Mountain biking is better than average for DFW. Expect the occasional run-in with the fella who does not know how to follow the rules posted by DORBA.
Great beginner trail. Air up the tires and ride that mongooose behind the lawn mower in the garage. From the trailhead go bypass and ride until you get to the Walnut Hill Bridge. Turn left and watch for the signs for the ORANGE LOOP. You will end up back at this location where you turn left and head back to the trail head. OR Dont take bypass, go under the Walnut Hill Bridge, turn right for more challenging (not beginner) trails.
This is a great place to go for a run or to ride your bike
Idk of you have have ever ventured off trail and found the back side with dirt trails, tall grass. It was so calming to walk in the a.m. saw horses, turtles, huts, although I am surprised not to run into any snakes. To see some of my video footage check out MyRealtorArmani on IG.
Mountain bike trails are horrible maintained.
A great mountain bike ride but definitely not for beginners.
Flowy Trail, a bit technical at times but difficulty really depends on speed. Good for beginners
Sketchy Park with Sketchy trollish peeps
Beautiful place for take your kids!
Great trails, and biking trails. Parking lot, needs to be fixed .
So peaceful I love to just sit here and do nothing its calm atleast when Im here its my place to just chill
A nice and narrow biking trail. Some trash because of elevated waters running during raining season. It needs a porta-potty, but overall its a good place to go during the week. Not many challenges.
Really good and nice place to walk
Cheers for kids who loves soccer
Nice park work lots of shade. The only downside is it has one portable restroom.
Volunteers have done HEROIC work to get this trail in wonderful shape .
good place
Place was okay. Nice for a walk or run. Nothing special other than that.
It a nice park. Used to be more grills. not sure what thats about.
Its a good place to go in a walk, take your kids for they can have fun, have a picnic and have an adventure with ur friends!
I like taking the kids and the dogs for a walk here. Its a nice large park - very clean and scenic - lots of big trees.#park #beautiful #trees #junglegym
Nice place to have a brisk walk to exercise
Beautiful trails and lots of space to go for a great bike ride and enjoy the outdoors!
Its good bc i can play soccer here when im bored
Pretty nice little park. It has a play ground for kids and theres a nature trail close by. Its also right off of whiterock bike trail. Not usually very busy but parking sucks and the its not paved
So much fun to run arounf
Very nice park with a lot of open areas and trails but with only a few picnic tables
Just a good quality playground.
Its OK
Summer is here, enjoy the view, and excitement with my family playing Volleyball
Great bike trails
Lots of dangerous dogs not on leashes with irresponsible owners!
Great place to walk my dog
I love walking at this park
It need a smooth pavement to drive on
There is not much to this park. I am not sure if this is still being developed. The parking area is small and still dirt. The path under the bridge is a bit creepy. Lots of erosion.
Its a nice place to walk with family. The green scenes around this park reflect true nature. They even have some place for kids to play..
Ive used the trail that runs through here for over twenty years and its great. I use it for inline skating but bicycling seems to be the most popular. It runs for miles and miles and connects to the White Rock Trail in the South. Theres also water fountains at different places along the trail and they usually work, especially during the Summer months.
Love this park.. Just dont like the parking
Its just tore up from the floor up right now
The air was fresh and crisp! I enjoyed walking and jogging in total peace. The other park users were mindful of everyone. Love it!!!
