This park in a gem. Much needed relaxing spot tucked away behind the hustle of the 635 nightmare. Easy to get to. Ample parking with 2 lighted lots and port-o-potty for those in need. Several convenience stores across the way. As well as, tai food, gourmet pizza, habachi style grill and a upscale car wash/detailing that could be easily utilized while you play a round or two.
A pleasant frisbee golf course in close proximity to Dallas. There were a good amount of people but it wasnt too crowded. A majority of the course is kept in pretty good condition, but the bathroom situation is not ideal and there are some parts of the course that are in need of some cleaning and/or updating. All in all though, its a nice place to throw some discs.
Awesome disc golf course. Pretty open with a few well placed trees to make you focus on a few lines
Good course for beginners. Mostly fair open shots. Only one hole that requires a hard throw after the creek.
Disc golf course has some good holes, some annoyingly placed baskets. Its like the designers decided to model 2 or 3 towards real experts, which is fine I guess, but the scorecard is humbling to say the least.
Been playing here for 20 years! Disc golf is a great practice course. Good pick up games of basketball too. Would be a 5 star if all the trash picked up from the creek that flows through it, but I know I cant speak out. I dont volunteer to help pick up the trash....
This is a great disc golf course that uses a relatively small piece of city land to provide a pretty nice 20 hole course. Overall the park is maintained pretty well. Its definitely an older city park, but no major issues other than some debris runoff from the city after a big rain. Course itself dries pretty quick though if you stay on the fairways. Local golfers and club do A LOT to keep the place nice and free of BS. Baskets are old Mach somethings (2s maybe?) and can be a little spitty, but the guys out there have at least taken good care of them over the years and youd be hard pressed to find baskets that old at another park that are still in as good of shape as these are. They still catch better than a lot of newer baskets Ive played on. Locals are friendly, pretty much a 90% disc golf park with the other 10% being a couple of basketball quarts that are way out of the way, and the holes are really well designed to still give you some challenging looks despite being a smaller course. Definitely worth checking out if youve never been. There are 2 bonus holes for a total of 20 although 18s normal basket appeared to be MIA when I was there today. If youre standing on 17s teebox facing forward, look over your right shoulder at about 4 oclock and youll see a path into the woods for 17b. Hole 19 is down the trail after 18s long pin (about 40 feet up the sidewalk by the basketball quarts on your right )
Solid disc golf course. Good for starters. Good players seem to over throw pass the baskets but thats a good problem to have.
This is a beautiful course with a lot of variety in the shots.
Fun course, not the most challenging but always an enjoyable round.
Very well kept dgc! More hole overlap than I would prefer but overall good layout for being in Dallas proper.
Great local discgolf park can you find the two hidden holes? #17b and #19?
18 holes of excellent disc golfing - technical, open spaces, cramped forest routes and lots of secret trails through a well-trodden trash forest.
Large park for golf Disc fun!!
Great beginner disk golf course. Very open fairways and offers lots of different approaches
Broken glass in parking lot, but the disc golf course is cool
I just drank from the parking lot but it looked very pretty lol
#beartaria Onward, crushing, nobody is having more fun than us, dont go behind the dumpsters lest ye be banned for life.
This could be a really nice park, but it is absolutely filthy. Trash everywhere. The creek obviously moves a lot of trash through the park, but there are beer bottles, can, and all sorts of trash throughout the park. Def not a place to bring kids!
Great disc golf course, especially after it rains. Would recommend to anyone. Tree love disc sports is close by if they are ever open tho.
We always love playing disc golf out here! Well maintained for the most part, the back 9 is great playing area and our dogs love to go along.
Very maintained course and fun layout
Great disc golf course! Fun and challenging!
Disk golf course has a confusing lay out and is way too close to the road
Well. Im a transplantnto this community and am not often given to great gatherings of the local community. To safely to njoy a time out with a game of disc golf and well some others is a step in the right direction for a conasuer of the stairwell...another enjoyable time now back the streets...a break from a personal struggle.
Great mid sized Disk Golf course. Challenging holes and seems to be popular around here.
Nice frisbee disc golf park, the city could do a little better with tree trimming and disc pad maintenance, but over all a nice open park
My husband u to going there and now I do he past away 8 months ago
Cool place for disc golf! Be sure to take pics of the Disc Golf map (at the edge of the parking lot) so youll have a reference once you get on the course. The goals themselves were once numbered, but some of the numbers have disappeared, so youll need the map to find your way through.Fun place to come with friends.
Great 18 hole, for disc golf!!
Awesome as always!
I play disc golf here on occasion. This park is a nice place to get out and enjoy some nature in the city, however it is quite dirty usually, and there are often homeless people sleeping in the woods, on park benches, and on the walking paths. There is a 18 hole disc golf course here, and a basketball court. Overall its okay.
Great place to learn how to play disc golf! Locals help keep the course nice
This is my regular disc golf spot. Its not a long course and its mostly very straightforward but it can pose some tough/tricky shots sometimes. There are a couple holes that alternate basket placements, the hardest being 15 when they out it back in a narrow path between trees which makes it easy for discs to slip down to either side. But overall, its a decent track.
Ive enjoyed this Disc Golf Course for years. Still in great shape with concrete tee box and nice signs. Well taken care of.
Really nice park. Love the course. Its challenging but long enough to get used to area.
Its got a cool watar bridge my dogs luv
Best park to learn how to play disc golf. Very open not many trees are in play. But the course has some hole that really let you open up your arm and use full power.
Been coming here since i was kid and it never disappoints. Love this course.
Good course
Loved it,fairly easy to find the next hole, great park and moderately challenging
Good place to play disc golf
Fun course. It has many different type of holes. Great to play with the family. Everyone had a great time
Great place to play disc golf
Disc golf course that will soon get some needed maintenance, like trash and underbrush cleanup as well as new baskets.
Fave place to hang with boyfriend
Great place to clear your head.
Great small disc golf course thay do have a basketball court that is used often
My dog loves this place
Much shorter course in length than Audobon. But still a really good course. Clean, well marked and mapped. I recommend this one as well.
Decent disc golf course, alot of open shots, but plenty of trees to make it a challenge
1) Nice, short walking path (no shade)2) Cute little playground3) Covered picnic tables & a few benches4) Couple of Basketball/Tennis Courts 5) Baseball/Soccer fields, on the far side.* Usually NOT too busy, but always some people there.* Right next door to the Minimum Security Federal Prison.* Awesome duck pond, but 1 duck was injured last time I was there. I hope it was helped!
Ive been going to BB Allen Park for 22 years its always been great but it could always use a little bit of cleanup for trash especially by the creek. The last couple times that Ive been out there it hasnt been mowed the grass was really long. Aside from all that I will always call BBL when my home park
Dope disc golfing place. Id say its for more experienced players .
Not the best in Dallas
Great quick disc golf course!!
My favorite
Fun and easy Par 3. Mapping could be better as there are quite a few holes playing the same area makes it easy to throw to the wrong basket. Once you have played it once you should be golden though. Only one major hazard other than the standard tree lines. Shouldnt loose many discs on this one. Suggest the udisc app for a map for the first time.
Very peaceful place
One of the best disc golf courses in dallas
One of my all time favorite disc golf courses in Dallas, Texas! The course is flat and has a small creek, but the holes are not over water. This is a fun course to play with friends and a good beginner course. The park is also nice to walk through and enjoy the tree line and vegetation.
Forgot how much I enjoy this course
Love it. Check it out
Needs a little park for the kids. Nice trails. Nice course. Mannn me and the kids had a blast yesterday.
I was walking along the creek that is annex to B.B. Owen. The band of trees on either side makes a good micro forrest for wildlife. I am always disappointed at the trash and debris, but enjoy what is natural. I avoid people at the creek as I know homeless camp there and some may be crazy. The frisbee park and the annex are a good scenic walk.
For frisbee golf its a great park. Did not see any playground equipment or very many tables. Still a great frisbee golf course.
Good course, tend to get chiggers often there as the grass isnt usually kept up, but fun to play.
Great well kept course
This is a dedicated disc golf course in the city of Dallas. Everyone from beginners to professionals play this course year round. It is a safe Park to go to. There is a basketball court and for the most part most people are well-behaved and dont cause any problems. There are no walking or biking trails. There are portalet at the park. There is additional parking across the creek by hole nine. The east Dallas disc golf club runs Minis several times a week, they have a Facebook presence if youd like to learn more.
4 stars because Mary Moore is a 5 star DG course.
Great Disc Golf Course. Good for rainy days. Prevalent homeless population.
Super easy disc golf course. Great to bring beginners as its really hard to lose discs here. All par 3s. New players should be able to play par within 1 month here. Great test grounds for new discs but goto audubon instead for a more worthwhile challenge.
Its a very good course especially if your just starting to learn. The probability of you losing one of your disk is minimal. Overall its an awesome place.
8. Ml
Frisbee golf laid out and thought out very well. Perfect windy conditions heightened the experience to make memories ill struggle to forget.
It was very exciting and the disc golf course was very easy and layed out perfect
Great disc golf course for beginners. Its where I learned to play
I dont know anything about this park.
Great course!
Home course lots of tournaments there. Im not that good but if you are just looking for a good time to throw some disc then its a good spot
Nice park and always nice people playing disk golf
Great place for disc golf beginners. Wide open and plenty of room for error on the front 9.
Nice short 18 hole disc golf course
Nice place on the surface but let a frisbee fly into the creek and you quickly see its a hotspot for homeless
Great disc golf course.
Easy disc golf course, pretty open. Kept fairly clean.
Nice basketball court
Its very quiet and peaceful
Awesome place
Its the park where I learned to play. A good beginners course.
Nice outdoor experience with a disc golf course.
Very cool little disc golf park!
