At a back-to-school event at the Larry Johnson Rec. This is my first time coming to this center and it is great to see this event coming together for those in need in the surrounding areas. Free haircuts, Food, drinks, fun, and school supplies.

Larry Johnson Recreation Center is a city of Dallas center. Use by different groups and I attend a senior group with my sister. It is a very nice facility to meet and learn new things with other seniors.

Nice school and recreation center. The restroom is clean and has several stalls -thats always a plus.

I mostly came here when I was still very into Pokemon Go. Theres a Pokemon Gym and two Pokestops. There are benches to sit at and a little water park to cool down at, since it is very hot during summer.Now onto the recreation center itself... Its good for what it is. Theres a gym to exercise with the machines and equipment. Monthly fee to use that is around fifteen dollars, I believe. ID card is a dollar.Theres summer programs and a gymnasium for the little kids to play around in. Responsible people. Respectable. Thumbs up.Its the parking lot I dont like. Shady people park there, and they watch. Half of them might be keeping watch for trouble makers. The other half...might be doing sketchy things.Also they light fireworks a week before 4th of July. Keep that in mind.

I am impressed with the genuine greeting and friendliness of the staff everytime I have had the opportunity to visit as a performer with the Soul Inspirational Line Dancers several times in the past 2 years.
