Kidd Springs Park has always been a delightful place to relax and exercise for my family and I.Home to a wonderful pond with various ducks and turtles to look at while walking around and by sitting down at the benches close to the pond. They also have a recreational center that is clean and full of various activities to do.The Japanese Garden located near the pond is also a beautiful touch to the beauty of this park, and makes it stand out from other parks in the area.
It was very beautiful I will be coming back again.
I have been going to this park scents I was a teen not 39 and It is so good to see how this changed over the years... seeing baby ducks again and so many turtles..
Awesome place for kids
Perfect for walking and kids
I love it !!! A place to use the gym equipment, excercise like the king out and enjoy looking at the lake where birds, ducks, turtles, just beautiful and peaceful.
I had a great time here at a health fair that was put on by Methodist Hospital very informative lots of information lots of giveaways and freebies lots of screenings lots of great entertainment great food great staff from Methodist and Kidd Springs Re, wonderful experience
Great fun and lots of health and wellness care provided by our friends and neighbors at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
What a beautiful place. Who knew this existed inside Dallas. The rec center had a 270 view of the lake, complete with water fall and ducks. Historic Church meets here on Sundays, and they are doing a phenomenal job of pastoring their community. You should definitely check it ot. Sundays at 11:00. Pastor Hugh speaks to all, including those who havent found the church a welcoming place.
Nice spot. Plenty activities
I was not in the recreation center I was walking around the pond. Very nice place clean peaceful place. The recreation seems to be multi-year. Birthdays, showers but always nice. Go Oak Cliff
Has the usual rec-center stuff, they have a alright sized room to have an event, but you have to do the cleaning up afterwards. They have a good workout gym, tread-mills, and weights. Seems nice to join if you prefer less people around when you go workout .
Beautiful lake. Peaceful garden. Great place for a quiet laid back Sunday afternoon.
Nice day for a walk before the weather gets bad
I stumbled upon this community center by accident (being new to the neighborhood), and was pleasantly surprised. The woman in the front office (I believe her name was Danielle) was so kind and answered all of our questions about the yoga program, basketball courts, and facility rentals. While we have yet to utilize the facility, the first impression was great!
Really nice park. Small lake with walking trail. The old Japanese gardens area is still nice to visit. Plenty of park benches to sit and read, watch the ducks, or just enjoy the day. The rec center has a modern workout room, a full gym, meeting rooms, and organized activities for all ages. The park also has tennis courts, a basketball court, swimming pool, and baseball field.
I really like Kidds Springs Park. They are redoing everything over here and adding a very large Aquatic Center with a water slide. Cant wait for that to get finished.
Beautiful park, good trail, good place to go with kids, friends. Colorful.
Nice renovated park
My family has enjoyed this park for the last 30+ years. They have two different shaded playground areas, a duck pond with fountain, a jogging train, a large outdoor pool, tennis courts and gardens. The recreation center has workout equipment, fitness classes and other things for members. You could even have a small wedding or event here with the rec overlooking the duck and fountain pond. During the summer the DSO holds free concerts on the lawn. A must, if you live in the area.
School Reunion having fun with classmates
Great place to get some exercise and enjoy a great view of a duck pond at the same time. This park also has a tennis court, pool, basketball court and of course there is a recreational office with activities open on business hours.....not sure the hours. There are two kid areas, one by the pool and the other on the opposite side of the park down a beautiful zen trail

My nephews learned to swim at the swimming pool one summer. Good indoor activities for all.
Kidd Springs Park is great! Theres always fun to be had whether youre a child or adult. My partner and I have a 4,6, and 8 year old who LOVE it. The playgrounds and other features are laid out across acres of winding (TX) hills and trees. I enjoy the adventure of taking new routes through Kidd Springs each time I visit.
This rec center is a tremendous resource for the neighborhood. From classes for kids to senior groups, theres something for everyone. We rented the gym and the activity room for our sons fifth birthday party. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Lots of fun activities for the whole family.
This place is beautiful. I love the ducks their, believe it or not the ducks seem to talk to the people walking around the pound. Small rooms but the pound is what makes it beautiful. Hard to find
Nice facility. Under remodeling.
I went to their yearly kids fishing event. They place fish into the pond and let families fish them. Their was already a large raffle ticket giveaway with several prizes with everything from fishing tool boxes to fishing rods and even several $50 gift cards to sports and outdoor stores! There was even a snack table with a variety of water and fruit drinks and morning pastries. And everything was free.
After checking To make sure they were open (website said 9am), I walked almost two miles to the Rec center to lift. Apparently they arent open until 2pm on Fridays...? That seems arbitrary. The building was staffed, as well as had a couple groups of kids with staffers.Door was held open for me by a staffer, a polite hello and a smile and I went inside to lift. After I scanned my key card and started walking to the gym - like I always do - a lady came storming out of the office to tell me they are closed and I have to go. What? There are staffers here as well as management etc. Why am I being treated like a nuisance for trying to work out at a gym which I pay for...? I dont need special assistance or supervision, just needed to use the facility. After leaving, one of the staffers came running out after me to let me know they were going to permit me to work out this one time. Other staffer let me know my membership isnt valid anymore. Haha good, now can I just get those tax dollars back too or...?Absurdly run place with no sense of working for the people who pay. Just the elderly and the citizens with children, apparently. Wish I could stop paying for this joke.Save your money and go get a membership at Planet Fitness. Sure, you cant wear a tank top there, but at least they let you work out.
Ive been here for over 12 years now and its my childhood park. Calm quiet and a huge play ground for kids and my self when i was young cx. I love coming to relax and unwind after a long day. And the new shade area is nice as well.
Its a narural spring and they actually stock the pond with Trout and with Catfish. They hold fishing derbies there a few times a year for the kids. My son loves feeding the ducks and geese.
One of my favourite parks in Dallas by far
Recreation center ckean and provides a lot of different activities. Under going a mass improvements to the entire park. Water slides are being added to the pool as well as the lake area and the parking lot.
Good tennis courts. Good for walks. has multiple playgrounds for kids. Pool opens over the summer.
Love the park nice wide open space.love the playset love how its connected together and you can run around the whole thing.the rock u can climb on is fun.
Ive been going to this park every since I was child. I love feeding the Duck and seeing the turtles and also seeing the fishers.

Hidden park in downtown of dallas! Great Lake. Very nice place to visit.
Beautiful location and free community rooms for whatever you need. If I lived in Dallas I would go here often.
Love this place. A great place for kids and sports development
The park was clean and the ducks and geese were out and about. Great for pictures.
Great park, pool is even better, just alot of rules. only swimming attire, no basketball shorts or anything, if you want to wear a tshirt, it has to be white, and cant enter without flip flops or swimming shoes
Beautiful in Spring. Great Recreation Center. Ducks make it not the best place for walks.
Beautiful scenery, lovely pond with ducks, lots of shade, basket ball court, tennis court, baseball field, and park for the kids.
Great center, wonderful service. Activities for the whole family
