Plenty to do there. Well-run around the lake. Facilities well kept. Swimming pool open year round. Only thing they need is changing tables in both restrooms.

Never knew this recreation center was located here. I feel that the community should take better care of it. I loved seeing all of the kids in their plays.

This was my first time going there. The facility is next to the lake. There is a playground outside for the kids. Walking or jogging path all with a view of the lake. Nice place to rent for get togethers, wedding receptions, performances, etc. Because its a public park, parking may be an issue, so plan ahead. Lovefield airport is just across the lake, so you can watch the planes land and enjoy the lake. Theres also plenty of restaurants and shopping in the vicinity. Enjoy...

I use it to work out on my lunch break, the gym has no locker room, no showers, and nowhere to even put your bag, but if thats cool with you, they have some decent equipment. The showers are on the pool side where you would have to pay at least $3 to use them. Come on Dallas Rec, get your sh** together. No free weights except for a dumbbell rack. Lots of machines. Couldnt comment on the rest of the facility, but seems like they do a lot for people with special needs.

Great rec center and they have a decent gym set up . Nothing fancy but just enough to get the job done.Highly recommend the place to anyone who wants a great veiw of the lake as well.

They do a lot of awesome community programs here and employ great people. Excellent government run facility.

Affordable, clean, well staffed. Seedy neighborhood, facilities could use updating/maintenance, but still worth going. Valuable community resource.

I am absolutely disappointed in the level 4 swim instructor, basic break down was her walking back and forth on the pool side wrapped in her towel telling the kids to swim back and forth, absolute zero demonstration and zero care for the money the parents paid for the education.
