All three times weve come, its been to see Home Free. The theatre is very beautiful! It reminds you of a golden era long past! The will-call people apparently dont arrive until 6:30pm or later which is ridiculous! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Next time Home Free plays here, well be here too.
Great shows happen here. The stylish touches and decorations in the lobby and theater is fancy and gorgeous. The staff are very friendly. I always have memorable experiences here the very few times I go. Excellent location as well with a lot of dining options nearby for before or after shows. Highly recommend!
A cozy, vintage theater in downtown Dallas... The acoustics were amazing for the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular and there wasnt a bad seat in the house... The venue was easily accessible by Uber for both drop off and pick up... Would definitely revisit this venue for any live music event in the future!
Event date and time changed three times. I spoke with their customer service team who hung up on me because I asked why I couldnt get a refund. $300 wasted.
Have seen so many shows here and it never disappoints. Be mindful of who’s putting on the show (3rd parties book the events) and buy tickets directly through the 3rd party. Ticket resellers are crazy expensive for this venue. Space holds around 1,700 people but seems intimate and the sound is great.
Went to see Casablanca at the Majestic. First time here. Parking is readily available nearby. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The popcorn is tasty. I thought the signature drink was expensive but it was yummy. The seats are not great to me because the back was too low but my friend who is shorter thought they were fine. I cant wait to go again.
What a grand and beautiful venue!! The sound system and acoustics are marvelous, the lighting is perfect, and if you get there early enough, the parking is good. The Majestic feels like a very comfortable time machine. We really enjoyed it and recommend it.
We saw Bianco Del Rio and though the seats are old, warn out, and tight the place is beautiful. The place is historically constructed and full of glamour and charm. A good place to see a show. If your short you might not want to sit in the third and fourth row. But tenth youre high enough to see the front of the stage.
Nice, elegant place, comfortable seating. The architecture at the Majestic is one of a kind, beautiful place. Parking is not bad, large lot nearby.
It was my first time in this theater last week. The show was amazing. Ill back to have another great experience here!
Great venue, had a blast watching the MST3K live show there. The biggest disappointment though was the price of the concessions. 8$ for a bottle or canned beer is insane. I may pay that price at the ball park but I’m getting a much larger beer. Just wait and take the nice easy walk into Deep Ellum after the show.
Beautiful venue, intimate enough to always have a good seat. The parking is about half a block away but only $8-10, not bad. Its little crowded and hectic in the foyer so I recommend printing your ticket or have it on your phone
Nice, older venue. Stairs and seats are steep. Chairs are tiny and narrow. Thank goodness I bought tickets arty the very back, so were could spread out seats. I couldnt have handled it with strangers on each side of me and nowhere to put my arms.
The Majestic building is great. However, the seats in the Loge Left section had TERRIBLE sound for tonights concert. We moved up to center upper balcony after several songs and it was better, but the sound mixer was still incompetent and the light tech was amateur. I expect better from such a great venue.
A real Dallas landmark. Grab a bite before in one of the great surrounding restaurants.
Grand old theatre with comfortable seating, great sightlines from all seats, stunning gilded ceilings and wall decor. I was more enthralled with the venue than with the show.
Saw Ron White who was great! Beautiful theater, just wish the seating was better. My 6ft boyfriends knees were digging into the seat in front of us and I myself was thigh to thigh with my unknown neighbor. Other than sharing body heat, it was a great time!
This is a cool old place. Went to see Adam Ant in concert and had the best seats in the house. The ushers were helpful, especially when someone was trying to claim our seats for themselves when they got confused about their section. Pretty venue, classic.
Remarkably beautiful theatre! Seats are incredibly comfortable, but be careful sitting down; they give more than you think. The acoustics are great, the drink selection is good; but youre going to pay theatre prices. A double whiskey was $24. Theres also several parking lots nearby, which is really convenient.
This venue is such a classic - from the big Chandelier to the details on the staircases this location is beautiful. Restrooms didnt seem very friendly towards anyone with disabilities, as it is such an old theater. Park nearby at public parking - make sure to download app and pay attention to your space number. If the app gives you problems, log in on Chrome.
Saw Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls there and sat on the right 3rd row from the front orchestra and the view was fantastic. Beautiful architecture of the interior. Acoustics were well rounded. Very quaint.
Kathleen Madigan was amazing! Staff was top notch!
Very nice place. Clean and easy access. Anywhere you seat you will get a good view at the performance. Suggest using the parking garage just across the street. Parking outside on street is packed and hard to access during peak times.
Saw Todd Rundgrens Utopia 2018 here. This is an immaculate theater that has obviously been restored to its original state and the seating and sound were good. Had some issues with the meet-and-greet here and the timing of the doors which is not the venues fault, (actually it was).. I would recommend.
Convenient and not too big.
Love the history, the acoustics and the theatre ritual Ive adored since childhood. Lovely and grand. Bathroom in the basements: Stairs and a line. Count on it. Parking nearby. One of my favorite venues.
Lovely old Theater, reminds me of my youth.
Great venue! Large but intimate. Comfortable seating. The only negative was the location of the restrooms... Basement level.
The Majestic is a Dallas landmark, a historic treasure and a very special venue to experience varied entertainment. I had the pleasure of taking part in a performance there and was very much inspired by its historic stage. A wonderful place!
A gem! There are excellent views and great acoustics. They have a wonderful staff that you get to know... In the top 3 in DFW..
What a cool.venue to watch a classic movie. The restoration is very nice. The seats are comfortable. The sound was excellent. The bathrooms are downstairs which can be a challenge but a unique venue for Dallas. Just watched Star Wars A New Hope and had a blast.
Went to see the Glenn Miller Band it was so awesome, this theater has great sound. We sat in the mezzanine center could see everything perfect.
Really nice venue, easy to get in/out, parking garage close by that didnt cost an arm & a leg!
Beautiful and clean venue! Kind staff! Easy parking.
Whats a great place to see your favorite comic or event in a small intimate setting. Word of advice Uber behind it or down the street the street the traffic got backed up with all the people trying to get dropped off.. also if u never been the bathrooms are down stairs to the right as you walk in, took me a min. To find them
Outstanding venue! Got to see The Tedeschi Trucks Band and it was a fantastic show!!
The seats were so close to the seats in front of us that my husband was extremely uncomfortable and I wasnt so comfy either. The theater itself is beautiful but could use a few renovations as there are cables running every where. The restrooms were clean at the beginning of the show but Im not sure about later as I only went before the show. Picture is from our view from the balcony. It was actually a good view for a third level. We were only 3 rows up though.
I went to see Espresso Nutcracker, it was beautiful. This show was put on by kids and adults. They did an excellent job. Congratulations to all
Beautiful venue. Excellent sound. The vendors and selections could be better. All in all, a great place to see a show.
The MOST marvelous and kind staff! Was my first time there and felt as if I were among lifelong friends and family.Super comfy seats.Convenient, well-placed, ADA compatible restrooms just off the main floor Libby.
Had an amazing time watching Tradeshi/Trucks band perform in a historic well preserved building.Sound traveled amazingly well.Adequate parking within minutes of the venue.
Great historic place that does not feel old. Parking was easy. Love the fact that no matter where you sit, you still feel close to the performers and stage.
True Dallas treasure and a great place to see a concert.
Saw Nate Bargatze a few months back. Nice venue. Good sound quality.
Great show. Really enjoyed it! Kansas, Point of No Return!
My husband and I went to a concert there recently and we loved this venue. First time. We had a great time... its beautiful in there!
Beautiful historical building.. I did say beautiful didnt I. And omg the sound here is beyond magnificent
Built in 1912 and absolutely beautiful inside out. Great theater for events as well.
Great theatre built in 1921!! Every seat is a good view. Large enough to accommodate a crowd, small enough to really allow attendees to experience the event.
The venue is beautiful! I went to see Tori Kellys concert, and I could see her for the most part even on the balcony (top of the section closest to the stage on the balcony).
Beautiful venue with very comfortable seating. The drinks are way overpriced so come having had a few beforehand.
Saw Joe Jackson on June 1, 2019 - one of the best concerts Ive ever seen. The Majestic Theatre was gorgeous, the sound was clear and the seating felt intimate and luxurious. We sat in the mezzanine and felt like it was a private concert for us and a few friends. Ill go back to the Majestic for any event. Truly awesome.
Absolutely stunning theater. And even the nosebleed seats arent bad. You cant beat that! We went to see Whose Line is it Anyway Live and really enjoyed the show from the balcony seating.
This is a 5 star, intimate venue! Steve Earle and the Dukes rocked the house!
Great place to see a concert!
Breathtaking venue. Like walking through some sort of time warp. Beautiful, original, great views, wonderful acoustics. Im guessing seats are original, but surprisingly well-preserved and comfy. Find a show and go check it out.
Loved this theatre! Saw a live show, and the historic elements are amazing! The staff are formally attired, friendly, and helpful.
What a beautiful venue, went to see the Fab Four and had a wonderful time.
Very cozy 1921 theater. Looks like it was built for Vaudeville. Great venue.
A smaller venue (1700 seat capacity) gives a more intimate feel to a concert.
Beautiful, well staffed. We rode LYFT from Ft.Worth. will definitely will do again
I was there tonight. Great venue. I was in the upper balcony and the view was great because of the venue size. I would come again
Beautiful venue! Is somewhat small but the view, seats and lighting is really good, we attended a High school graduation and are really pleased with the place.
Good view of stage no matter were you sit. The Espresso Nutcracker wad great!
Beautiful theatre in downtown Dallas. Excellent environment and mood. Ive seen many shows here. The venue does music justice for sure. I havent been disappointed by a show here yet. Top of the list that Ive seen here was Sufjan Stevens in 2015. Beautiful show, wonderful sound. One of my favorite concerts of all time.
Just saw Home Free here tonight. Amazing concert. Also saw the Beach Boys with John Stamos. Anywhere you sit, you will have a great view. Its very comfortable and staff is so nice.
This was our third time to watch a show at the Majestic. It is a beautiful venue and a wonderful place!
Really enjoyed the Iron and Wine/Calexico show here. The sound was well mixed and the space has good acoustics. The view from the balcony was pretty good. The seats were really lumpy with uneven springs... Not ideal for 4 hours of sitting. That being said, it is an old theater that is well preserved and I love that its still alive and well.
I love this place but should make some remodeling and better drinks
Saw Katya there yesterday for my first trip to the Majestic. The theatre was beautiful and there wasnt a bad seat in the house. The had plenty of concessions and it was a comfortable show. Wont have any issues going again.
Absolutely beautiful theater, looks recently restored to historic quality. We saw Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back here. They have an awesome schedule of classic movies in a fun upscale environment.
Enjoyed the event. However the food inside the theater is a bit distracting. Seats in the balcony have an obstructed view due to the speakers. Overall, historical building in pretty great shape.
Chick Corea and Bela Fleck. Great show. Gorgeous old building that was deserving of the city to restore it. Amazing details from our past. A beautiful venue for music or a play. Easy parking at the corner. Great pub down the street to grab a bite before the show.
Love the classic feel of this place. Not really a bad seat in the house.
I had no idea this place was here. Besides the ceiling peeling above my seat and the seats not having cup holders, I have no complaints. Please keep this historic location beautiful! The staff and show was awesome! They have tons of alcohol and movie theatre food (popcorn, candy bars, nachos and hotdogs).Find a show for “family night” out!
Was here for the Jason Mraz concert. Small venue was perfect for the acoustic set!
They nice older theatre, staff for the most part are friendly and the parking was easily accessible.
Great old place. good sound. good viewing. Lewis Black was there:)
Sounds great. Nice historic theatre. Great sound. Intimate if your eyesight is good. Mezzanine seats are really tight. If 58 or above get lower level seats, end of aisle seats or box seats. Its a tight fit.
One of the most beautiful theaters that we havent Dallas its a must-see messed up by check it out type of deal very pretty
Really lovely space. Beautiful details. Good sight lines. Tech tables at the back of house need to be quiet. You can hear them talking during performances.
The Majestic is great! This is a great place for a musical, play, concert, or movie. It’s a beautiful old theater downtown. There have been a free events that I’ve been on the fence about going to but simply being at the Majestic tips the scales and makes me want to go. It’s an especially great place for live music.
Every seat is a good one, the acoustics are amazing in this place
Good place. they Just need more bathrooms, is only 2 bathrooms one in second level and one in the basement. I had to be in line to go,and missed same songs
Went for Bryan Ferry, great place, sound was perfect.
The interiors are beyond beautiful, crafted in a long ago era. The staff were exceptional.
