So to all my real horror fan friends.... this place is a complete scam! Im sure some of your horror collections are more enjoyable to see than the stuff at this place. All the decor and occult items were fake or purchased from Spirit Halloween. There was no real Chocolate Bar just a girl behind a bar selling chocolate items off a menu. There was no actual museum. The tour guides tried to tell stories about these occult items and they couldnt even tell a single story that sounded coherent or believable. It was literally a single room you can walk through in less than 5 minutes and they are charging people 25 bucks to go in there and you have to pay separately for any Chocolate items. There is no museum.... there is no Chocolate bar ...There arent even haunted house actors or anything! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE! And warn all your friends! This place is a total cash grab!

SCAM!!! Advertisement is completely exaggerated if not a complete lie. Feel like I walked through spirit Halloween. Fake Annabelle was the cream of the crop.

Was not expecting a haunted house but I also did not expect to be so disappointed. It was one room. It cost $25 to get in, we waited in like for a while and then we were in and out within 10min. There was only 1 photo op and they charged for the dessert. Total rip!

SCAM!!! My Halloween decorations are scarier than this and theyre not even up yet. The target Halloween Eek and Boo section is scarier. And chocolate bar?HA... funny. Try more like a counter with 4 items and one was a bunt cake, not BUNDT. I rather pay $50 for a bag filled with human poo and eat it. The possessed dolls they had there were definitely bought at a thrift store. Also, the guys outside had the audacity to say that people that didnt like it werent true horror fans. If you bought tickets just stay home and dont anger yourself by coming to this. This place is like that nasty taste you have in your mouth after a night of drinking and throwing your guts up. I spent more time writing this review than I did at the museum. Legend has it that behind the shining door the room is filled with all the money of the people they scammed.

Do not waste your money! You could go walk through party city and see better than this. One tiny room, that’s it! You also have to pay for the chocolate, it’s not included in your ticket. This is a rip off!!!

This is an absolute waste of time and money. Its not a museum, theres no anger room, there isnt anything remotely cool in here. There are a few artifacts in a glass case that had no background to them. There werent any stories for you to read or learn the origins of everything. There was one person who could tell you a couple of stories but nothing more. Anyways, there were 3 rooms, all of which had nothing but Spirit Halloween decorations in them. They charge you for the desserts and there are only 4 options to pick from. No actual bar. This is definitely NOT as it was described and my friend and I wasted our time and money to drive 2 hours to be in there for only 10 minutes. They tell you that you can only hang out for 20 minutes but youll be done in 5. You could seriously go to Spirit Halloween for free and see everything you saw in this place. Its not a museum, its someones storage unit with decorations in it.

If you are a horror movie fan and want to look at a few horror movie icons for 5 minutes then you will enjoy this so called museum. I do not recommend this place. Sadly, it is a scam. I did not like that the museum had a haunted house vibe, pictures/videos were allowed but no flash allowed, and the chocolate bar is pre package desserts. It’s not worth your money.

We went to the grand opening and left extremely disappointed. It seemed like all of the props were bought from party city. The dolls and “artifacts” were probably fake. The owner didn’t care to explain all of them and when I asked about a specific doll he had no idea where it came from. Desert was NOT included in the price of the museum! $6.66 for a choice of 4 desserts. Definitely a scam.

Super bad. Runner had to preface the entire experience with how they are trying to please all horror fans. Claimed to make the deserts at home in a non certified kitchen. Obviously a lie. Just dont bother and get your refund asap. Obvious scam once you show up and see the type of people they are and how they operate.Gg no re

I really wouldnt recommend wasting your money here. This was clearly someone just trying to capitalize on the popularity of Halloween. You would LITERALLY get the same experience by grabbing a Hershey bar from a gas station and going into a Spirit store and asking them to turn off the lights for a few minutes.

If I could rate it less, I would. Not a museum at all and the chocolate bar is a few overpriced, prepackaged desserts from a supermarket. This is literally a walk through of some clearance Halloween decor. No special occult items, nothing museum about this at all. Their Facebook page was poorly run and now shut down. The owners clearly paid some folks to video a decent review after experiencing a total failure of an opening weekend and even closed early on its opening night. This place has false advertisement written all over it. Save your money and go walk the aisles of Spirit.

Absolutely awful experience. Mostly from not even being able to get inside. Requested a refund simply because the owner closed the doors early on opening night, but apparently he was too cowardly to even keep the Facebook page open for any communication. Thoroughly disappointed in the lack of customer service. Can’t even form an opinion from the inside. Don’t attempt to go, who knows if it’ll be open.

They should charge $5 at most for the entry. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in Grand Prairie is a better choice and certainly worth the ticket cost. Overpriced!

Those claiming you can get a similar experience at Spirit... dont insult Spirit like that!Went opening night. This place was AWFUL. Watching people walk in and out within five minutes while we waited in line was the first red flag. When we entered, it looked like someone who had never seen a horror film OR a museum set this up with their eyes closed.0.5 stars, because seeing the owner try to defend the museum in front of our group was quite comical

Shoutout to the 51k people marked as “Interested” or “Going” on Facebook because they are in for a rude awakening. Neither a museum or a chocolate bar. More like a consignment version/yard sale collection of discount Halloween supplies then they turned the lights off to try to make it spookier.

The owner is a real piece of work. When the poor reviews started flooding their FB page, he didn’t apologize or acknowledge it. Instead, he posted a video of the crummy “museum” tour, which took only 3 minutes to do by the way. He then proceeded to say something like: “you may not like this event, so don’t buy a ticket, but if you want to, please do.” He refused to give back refunds, even though he couldn’t deliver anything as promised. The next day, he’d ask to record people’s “reactions” to it, and you could tell they were put on the spot & felt uncomfortable. This guy is a scam artist and this needs to be shut down. He even deleted the FB page, but have no fear, a lot of people took screenshots just incase! Obviously it’s just a very shady operation.

Paid $50 for 2 tickets, expecting a museum of horror artifacts, a rage room for breaking plates and chocolate in the form of a bar. What I got was a room filled with Halloween youd, knick knacks behind plexiglass with no explanation, no rage room and Walmart cake slices being sold separately for $6.66.... I would like my money back asap and I would like this business shut down.
