Candytopia was an awesome experience. I took my family here while they were in town visiting for the memorial day weekend. I think my dad had more fun than my niece. I would recommend this to anyone. The only part I didnt care about to much was the confetti room. One worker kept putting confetti in my hair and kept following me around dumping confetti on me after I told him to stop. He continued to do so until I left the that room. I couldnt really enjoy that room with my family. Other than that I enjoyed myself.
Candytopia was a wonderful experience! My son and I had a great time, but it was costly. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly.Overall, I was very pleased with our visit. The dragon was my favorite. I was most fascinated with reading all of the candy facts throughout the tour. You can tell that a lot time and intricate detail went into creating each of the items that were on display...it was pretty cool to see!My sons most favorite things for this event were the Marshmallow Room, and all of the candy that he could eat, of course!
If your girlfriend is all about looking fabulous, youd certainly win major points but taking her here. A very colorful and SWEET experience can be enjoyed by children and adults alike! Although its not the cheapest exhibit, it is unique and temporary and thus still worth at least going - at the very least for her enjoyment!
A wonderfully fun and interactive place with a lot of candy. Has to be experienced at least once. The scheduled slot system wasnt in effect when I visited, got in right away and had a great time. The marshmallow pit was a lot of fun as were the portraits.I would recommend them getting more A/C. Some of those rooms were pretty hot.
Its an amazing world of candy. A bit costly but well worth the money. You visit a lot of rooms with different attractions made out of candy. They offer several photo ops to go with the experience. Its a great time for kids that can touch the things made of candy and candy is supplied throughout the tour. It starts guided but after three rooms becomes self guided.
I love art and the many things that can created! It was fun and so many different things to look at or even expirence! They even offered candy through out the exhibit. Everything is legit made from real candy. The rooms are differently themed and something different to see when walking into a new one. They have amazing ways to take photos for memorable keepsake. They go above and beyond and truly outdid themselves !!
The place was good.We had fun.Best thing about this place which I like the most is marshmallow pit.It was fun to be around very energetic people and lots of candy.I really loved the app and how they took photos and sent it to our emails for free.To be honest, I was expecting more of a place where history of candy will be explained a bit like regular museums.I would suggest having a little bit of history and it would be great if they give us a small bag/pouch to carry out some candies from there. The one other thing is confetti area disappointed me.We were on the last schedule of the day, around 8:15 PM.I understand its late, but we are there to have fun ! When we were there, they did sprinkle confetti sprinkles! The group before us got that.I am not sure why..which was a little disappointing.I hope they dont treat people differently.
I dont know where to start we loved this place from start to finish. Its sooo beautiful and just a wonderful time. We will return thank you Candytopia
You will feel very rushed at the beginning of the tour, they hardly give you any time to take pictures with the display because they jam you in a room full of people trying to take pictures with the same of the same displays. When the tour part is over you will actually have some fun. Great great place just limit the amount of people that can go into Room during the tour if you are going to rush like that.
This is a big photo OP. Thought it would be bigger, only had 9 rooms. Each room had candy to take with you but its like a museum. Not really interactive. Some rooms did though. Definitely not worth the price.
This was so much for fun than I was expecting! I went with a group of girls from work, and we had a blast! Free candy in every room (bring baggies!) and something interactive in every room. I compare it to ICE at the Gaylord, but so much better!
My family ABSOLUTELY loved this family day outing at Candytopia.. I cant wait to go again. I am telling all my friends with kids...
This place was so much fun. Its deffinately worth taking the whole family.
Id go every time they come to town. Love this place! Just to see my kids have fun was cool, but it was fun for us parents too. Sugar rush!! Lol
Great staff and loads of fun! Lots of candy to eat and enjoy as art in each area
$30 for one adult. i think it is reasonable price. Here has many things to take a pictures and fun. Also, you can have many of different kinds of candies and chocolates. Have fun!
I’m posting on behalf of Candytopia Houston but it has obviously moved on to other cities! This place was great!! We went for a friends birthday party (were all in our 40s) and we felt like kids! Playing in the “ marshmallows” and glitter and confetti from pigs butts, it was hysterical! There’s also lots of rooms with art displays, underwater scenes, and fun activities. I thought the concept was amazing!
I was taken here on a date and it was very fun. There are a lot of kids, but a lot of big kids too(adults). We had so much fun. Id definitely say go have some fun and check this joint out.
It was a ful fun experience for the whole family! We went on a Friday night. It wasnt too busy. Our group was only 10 people. We spent a good amount of time in each exhibit. The various displays made out of candy were very interesting to touch and observe. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Each room made us feel like we went to a different world. Our favorite was the marshmallow pit. Overall a unique and fun experience
Mini Willie Wonka Experience!!! My daughter and mom had a blast... especially in the marshmallow Pitt. If you have a chance you should go. Definitely worth $30.
Lots of fun for kids and the kid in you! Us adults had fun too! Definitely recommended.
So much fun!! And the staff were awesome. Especially the lady in the clock room. You could tell she loved her job! My grandkids had a blast and so did I!
This was a last minute date night stop with another couple before dinner. We had a great time.
Today was a first time for me. I didn’t know you have to schedule a head of time They have shows in 15 minute increments. They have a new app that is supposed to be useful for taking pictures expect there were problems and even the employees couldn’t show me how to find them in the app. They were nice enough to take pictures for me using my camera app. It was neat to visit but definitely not worthy of a frequent weekend kid event. Not for the price My child would rather go to a trampoline place. Lots of color and very creative sculptures. It was cool to get samples of candy in each room.
Really good, would go again.
Took my bestie there for her birthday and we had an absolute BLAST! Free candy throughout and many photo opportunities. Highly recommend!
Really cool photo ops! First few rooms are guided tours and the rest at your own pace. One warning that I had wished I had known is that it is NOT for anyone that may be sensitive to sensory overload. It can be very loud, crowded and overwhelming at times.
Best day ever kids and adults loved it!!!
Amazing experience! Check out Candytopia in your city!
This place was a lot of fun! Obviously youre there for the pictures and theres plenty of opportunities, but my kiddos really enjoyed themselves.
It was a very cool exhibit that was entertaining for all ages. The ticket was more than I expected, because when I left I expected more to the exhibit. Some lines took longer than we anticipated, like the marshmallow pit. The whole experience is picture - worthy and is fun to check out. Only downside was the cost of the ticket(cost was understandable because the art pieces were intricate, but we just expected more interactive experiences) but it was very enjoyable!
Kids’ rating: ️ ️️️️Adults’ rating: ️️️It was fun. Kids (5&7) loved it. Took about an hour to get through.Tip: do NOT line up more than five minutes before your time. THEY WONT LET YOU IN EARLY. And you will just be in the way of those whose time it is.Pros:-candy pieces were cool. Each sculpture or wall piece was made of tens of thousands of pieces of candy.- you get some neat pics- the confetti room was probably my favoriteCons:- stimulation overload. Lol- while the sculptures were neat, there actually wasn’t as much candy as I expected. Like when you tel me to think willy wonka, I expect at least one chocolate river. There were none. And the walls were just walls. I totally expected them to be made of candy.- the “free” candy was pretty generic (pixie sticks, sour worms, tootsie roll pops, lindel truffles, caramel apple suckers, gummy bears)- the marshmallow pit (fake marshmallows) was overwhelming and hard to get a pic. Pro tip: Don’t toss them. It will blur or cover people.FYI:they don’t give you a baggie yo hold your candy. This would have been more frustrating if I didn’t have such a big purse.Overall, it was a good day. A fun and different thing to do as a family. I would not do it without kids, as their enjoyment made it more enjoyable for us.
Not just for kids adults will enjoy also. Your not rushed and you will enjoy the confetti room. Marshmallow pit does have a time limit but you get enough time.
This place was AWESOME! It was slightly pricey BUT well worth it! Photos, candy samples, art, music, and dont even get me started on the marshmallow pit! So much fun! Im definitely going again.Sidenote: Although the exhabit is wheelchair and stroller accessable, it may be too difficult to enjoy your $35 due to lack of mobility.
Neat Exhibit. Candy art. They handed out so much candy in the various rooms that I thought wed been trick or treating!
First if you are expecting new cool candy this is not the place. Although the place has plenty of interesting art made of candy. If you have kids they will love it becuse its very whimsical. I like it because it was an experience and an opportunity to take neat pictures. Once was enough for me but it was a good experience besides the high prices.
We had an awesome time!
Such a treat to experience this sweet emporium of sugar and whimsy! Five fantastic rooms filled with every kind of candy you could imagine. Several interactive experiences, free samples and free downloadable photos when you scan your personalized QR code! Enter through the garden & lollipop treehouse, then slide into the jungle with tree swings and a lion made of jelly beans. Next, pet an airheads-breathing dragon and delve into a batch of chocolate candies. After that, pump sweet scents into the air from brightly-colored flowers and bounce giant Candytopia balls into the air. Spend some time in the aquarium and Art Gallery, where you wont be reprimanded for touching the paintings.Ready for the best rooms? Cover yourself in confetti, spin on the Trolli wheel, then dust yourself off to prepare for the Marshmallow Pit! Cannons of marshmallows spray into the air as you swim your way across a 4-ft deep pool of foam marshmallows. So fun! Lots of opportunities for photos and making memories here - cant wait to bring the kids back before the installation ends.
We went on a day that the A/C wasnt working and that made for a miserable experience. The staff really worked hard to keep everyone excited and we appreciated their energy and efforts. Management made it right by us and thats appreciated as well.To put it nicely, this wasnt for us. The promotional photos make it look a lot nicer than it is in person. Its also the end of their run in Dallas and the high traffic items show a lot of wear.
First time enjoyed myself
Our group was waiting outside of the entrance. The staff out there were hilarious and great to get along with. The experience for the first 30 minutes felt a bit rushed though. ️ The photos turned out great from the Sugar Rush stations. The different rooms shocked us every time we got in. There was always something new to do. Also, there are lots of candies to take home!
Great interactive museum in Dallas! Went with my sister on Monday morning. Great place for children with lots of photo opts. Parking is free! Definitely will come back again and take my boyfriend.
This place was amazing! Its very different from other attractions weve been. It was colorful, interesting and it kept my kiddos attention the whole time! Great idea...Candytopia
Fun place to go play and eat candy!
If you have ever scoffed at someone saying that ANYTHING can be art, then first off you should be ashamed of yourself, and secondly this place will prove you wrong. Not only are there grand and amazing sculptures, paintings and other exhibits made ENTIRELY out of candy..... But they actually give you candy throughout the entire experience. There are these amazing interactive scenes and augmented reality photo stations. But the thing to remember is that its incredibly difficult to explain to someone who hasnt seen it. I thought it sounded stupid when my wife described it to me but I was so wrong and the giant swimming pool of marshmallows that you get to jump into really pushes it home. YOU NEED TO GO SEE THIS!
Great place to take fun pictures with friends and family
I recommend this place. It is fun, interactive and they give you free candy throughout your visit. My favorite room was the marshmallow room. I recommend going in the marshmallow pot and have fun like a kid again! One great thing I like about this place is that it definitely family friendly and can also be a great place to take someone on a date with! Go, have fun, and enjoy the sights on the candy sculptures, free candy and interactive activities.
It was super fun! I brought my friend and her daughter and she was so excited for the marshmallow pit (which was at the end), my one complaint would be that they allowed more time in the marshmallow pit to take pictures but there were a lot of people trying to do that so that makes sense. They gave out free candy, which was a fun surprise. The artwork was stunning and looked tasty!
#candytopia was awesome
We had a blast at Candytopia! It was so much fun. I have never seen so much candy. There was so many amazing things made out of candy and so many opportunities for pictures. The marshmallow pit was my favorite!
We went in Dallas. The concept is great, but unless you are the first or last one in a room, it was chaotic trying to get pics. Consider less people per group? It would have been nice to know about the special effects pics capability before we were midway thru the event. Def different, but not sure a few noisy, candy art laden rooms were worth the cost. My 12 yr old wasnt overly impressed either.
Definitely had fun; something to try out at LEAST once. Initially I was a little off with the scheduled slots to come in, so there was a bit of wait upon arrival. Once they started, theres not much guidance as to what to expect going forward - you just kinda muddle on through.Once we got through the preliminaries it was not a bad experience. It was engaging and interactive - kind of like a submersion event. One tip Id suggest is more A/C and better signage in the parking lot. I was fine temperature wise, but there were others who were pretty hot. Also, when trying to find the place the billboard was at the far end of the parking lot so that when you saw it youd practically pass it. For something like this there should be signs & arrows. Otherwise, not a bad spot for the kiddos.
Very unique! If you are a candy lover this is a good place to go! The marshmallow pit puts the cherry on top! And cant forget free samples of candy!
Great time great art and fun!
Great for little ones to explore!!
This was such a unique experience. Everything is made from candy. I would strongly recommend this event.
The staff was really nice and inviting. The few statues made of candy are fascinating. However, I personally think it is way over-priced. I was expecting much more. You have a time limit on rooms which was frustrating. I ended up spending more time getting to the place because of Dallas traffic then I spent in in. Although the rooms are cool backdrops for pictures, the lighting in most are not favorable. I do appreciate how neat of an idea it is though.
We loved the different ways candy was used for the exhibits! My daughter loved the marshmallow pit and confetti the most!
So much fun! I loved all the picture stations that they had all throughout the exhibit. I will definitely be back when they come to town again. They give candy out in every room too.
Candytopia was a real life Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory! I absolutely loved it!! If you appreciate art and love candy. Its the perfect treat for you and your little ones!!!
My daughter and I loved this place! She said it was a candy land! The rooms were all so very interesting. It was not too crowded and te staff was super nice! We loved the sugar rush pictures.
I am giving others reviews the benefit of the doubt, but late on a Sunday afternoon, this place was way too crowded to enjoy. It was so, so hot inside and with 50 people in each group it was steamy and gross. I was imagining a cool room filled with fun candy displays so I dressed in pants and instantly regretted it. Also, warning: if you dont arrive on time or earlier, theyll make you wait. They only let in 50 people every 15 minutes. If all the time slots are full, youll be waiting awhile! My kids liked it because of the free candy, but my wallet didnt.
Family fun and wonderful photo opts for memories! Our favorite was when we got to explore on our own and of course the free candy!! I think tickets were a bit much and totally wish they were at least $10 less but other than that is was amazing!
We went through the entire attraction in about 30 minutes, free candy was nice. There are 4 rooms, staff is friendly and good at getting the crowd involved. Best room was the confetti room, people were friendly and allowed you to take photos without staying too long in one spot. Marshmellow foam pit was fun too, but for the money I would have liked it if there was at least an hour worth if things to see.
Took the crazy fun pictures at Candytopia where they had to email them. Took a little while to receive, like 4 days but finally had someone see my comments who could address issues and send pictures. Pictures were great once received.
Staff are great and are really trying. Unfortunately the price of admission is not justified by the experience. Considering you could go to a nice restaurant, concert or to a amusement park (especially with a season pass) for the same amount of $, it doesnt seem worthwhile. In and out in an hour. Definitely fun for kids but overall underwhelming.
Loved this! Took My family Kids 8&3. They give out free candy in every room. Youre Basically there to take pictures so dress accordingly. It rained the day we went. But they were accommodating. The staff will take pictures of you so utilize them! They were all really nice. Definitely reccomend.
***IF YOUR CHILD HAS SENSORY ISSUES FROM DOWNS OR AUTISM DO NOT GO. EXTREMELY LOUD SOUNDS AND STRONG VISUALS. My daughter has downs and she was terrified. The staff also acknowledged that it had been happening The staff was great and tried to accomodate but we had to leave anyway. Other than that its cool.
Love this place. The props and rooms were unexpected. It was an overall beautiful experience plus you get some many candy (big plus for the kids). I would go back
We had so much fun! The employees were courteous and helpful. All the exhibits were great! We especially loved swimming in marshmallows!
6 grandkids -our visit was underwhelming and OVER PRICED! Half of thestaff was less than enthusiastic. The candy offered was fair. The photo opsare cute... how many photos do we really need? The kids get tired of posing.I personally think there needs to be a lot more entertainment for kids. More hands on entertainment and staff that has more enthusiasm. This is way too expensive for the experience we had.
Honestly not what I expected. I loved the staff & you do get some candy. The time I booked was for my daughter to enjoy her birthday. However, they also booked a large daycare at the same time as us. Lucky us to have almost 20 6yr olds running around, getting in every pic, wasting our time! It made our time there miserable! We couldnt enjoy any of it. Even without that interruption, Id have to say not worth $30each. The lighting is bad in there for actual photos, so the few I got arent that great. There was some neat things to see but not worth the drive through Dallas in my opinion. They need to take less people per session and be considerate of others paying full price by not letting kids book their groups during the same time. They need their own time slot, PERIOD! I thought that would be common sense! Disappointed!
We had a pleasant evening here! Lots of color and confetti and loads of candy to take at your own free will. The marshmallow pit was the best part! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with kids ages 5 and up.
Definitely a unique and fun experience but not sure I would go back. There were way too many people in our group, seems like they overbooked but I couldnt enjoy any of the rooms like I wanted to with so many people. Would have been great for photo opps had there not been so many people, you would think they would limit number of people in each tour. Staff was friendly for the most part, some of them definitely seemed like they were over the guests and just wanted to clock out. Might be fun if you have kids.
Candytopia was quite the experience. The staff was very fun and enthusiastic. The kids absolutely loved it, especially all the free candy scattered throughout. The candy sculptures were so well done, but unfortunately many were damaged because people suck. Our daughter asked to go back the very next day.
A fun place to visit.
My boyfriend took me there for my birthday. It was super sweet of him but NOT WORTH THE COST. I went in expecting a magical candy land.....and was sorely disappointed to find a cheap carnival attraction instead. It was unreasonably hot, especially since they told us it was air conditioned inside. There were some candy displays and photo-ops....but thats it. Not nearly what I was expecting based on their marketing.... It would seem they spent more on marketing than the actual exhibit its self. I tried not to show it...but I was very disappointed.....
The place is like Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. If you are a social media butterfly I highly recommend going. They have so many photo opportunity to take and other interactive photos too. Did I mention the Candy!!!! Its the best and the staff is so much fun!!! It takes like 1 1/2 hours to go through but well worth it if you a social media butterfly. The best rooms are the confetti room and the mash mellow pit, thats all Im going to say. Go soon because it only has like 4 months left here in Dallas.
I cant say it was completely worth $30/ ticket, but we did have some fun. It was cute with a lot of photo opportunities, and you get some free candy. The are a couple of active spots that get you moving which was nice. But it felt so short. My poor 8 year old had fun but once we made it out he was bummed and said, that was it?
Great experience for kids. It’s a little pricey but your kids will enjoy. Even a fun date night idea!
I wish I had checked out the reviews before coming here. Scrolling through other responses, I see my experience wasn’t an isolated one. The staff was rude, and their sound systems were screechy and inaudible. It was hot, crowded, and the exhibits had shown a lot of wear and tear. Despite the name and appearance, there is absolutely nothing for kids to do here except take a couple pieces of cheap candy. My kids were bored and my baby cried when a huge bucket of confetti was dumped directly on his head by a staff member who followed him around with it. One staff member stuck a piece of candy in my child’s hand without asking me- which was unfortunate, because he has strict dietary restrictions, and he threw a tantrum when I had to take it away. My daughter was nearly run over by the adults trying to take selfies. The kicker was when my two year old niece was kicked out of the entire exhibit for climbing out of the wrong side of the ball pit (there was no sign posted and she didn’t know). We came as a large group with kids aged 11-1 and not one had a good time. We left within half an hour. What a rip off.
30$ for adults, over in an hour tops. Kind of just an expensive venue for pictures. The candy statues are cool, but there aren’t nearly enough of them. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience. Great for kids, the staff are friendly and helpful, but I’d suggest spending the 30$ for admission elsewhere.
Something different that the kids and adults enjoyed!
Great place with a cool vibe! It offers something fun and different for the kiddos! We got some awesome pictures and free candy!
We took our three granddaughters to this last night. All I can say is, don’t waste your money! This is the most overly hyped scam I have seen in a while. If you like being herded into small spaces with dozens of hot sweaty people and having to fight for an opportunity to take a picture of your kids in the Candytopia set, then this place is for you. You can’t hear the actors who are hired to narrate your “experience” because the sound system is sub par and the crowd is unruly. The adults in the group we were sent through with were hogging the brief photo opportunities you were allowed in the primary rooms because they were too busy taking selfies for their social media. Upon entering one room you are unexpectedly blasted in the face at close range with a confetti machine, and you are forced to walk through a wall of inflated pillows to get to another room. It was so gross...all I could think about were the previous hot sweaty people who’d pushed through them and how much DNA had been left behind. Each room had a vat of candy that you could take from...big deal! Let’s put it this way, my 11, 8, and 7 year old granddaughters gave it a 3 on a scale of 1-10. That pretty much says it all.
More fun and amazing than you could imagine! Way more than just candy creations. Fun staff and creative surprises in every room.
Cool place indeed - it will be interesting to see what happens next.
Such a cool experience! My five year old enjoyed and so did we! Such creative pieces made of candy.
Way overrated! It was okay at best. Its more for photo ops than a place for kids. They didnt give away much candy at all. Its very overpriced and overrated. Save your money and your time!
Really awesome! The kids had a blast. Take your time and enjoy the artwork. Its a cool experience. I would suggest going early or on a day thats not crowded during the week. We went on a Tuessay at 1pm, and it was just a handful of people. Dont rush through it, enjoy the details.
Not worth $30 a ticket. Candy is hot glued over manufactured animal shapes. Not a very creative or unique experience, but the workers are very enthusiastic and have a great attitude.
Lots of photo ops. Candy in every room. Things to interact with. But we had heard it got warm previously, and it was definitely sweltering in most rooms. By the end we were all sweating profusely.
Very creative interactive art exhibition. Couldnt get the augmented reality work. Free candy was a plus. A good stop on a night out on the town.
My family had SOOO much fun this past weekend at Candytopia. We did not experience anything other reviewers were saying. It was NOT super hot as if the A/C wasnt working and we were not rushed through any rooms by the staff. We actually lagged behind in each room on purpose so as to not be in the big rush of people trying to be the first next room. The staff played around with us and ask if we wanted them to take pictures of us. I think it was well worth the money with all the free candy and photo ops your could want.
Fun environment for all ages!
I really loved this place it was fun!
So much fun! I figured it would be longer but what they have is fun. They have you download an app to take pictures with but they dont really explain how to use the app. Its really crowded at first but after a few rooms they let you walk around as your own pace.
Such an awesome and affordable summer getaway right at home!! Great job Candytopia staff! I cant wait to whats in store the next opening.
We arrived on time for 10:15 tickets we purchased. We were not allowed to go in until 10 minutes after 10:30 crowd. I’m not sure what the point is. If you just want to take IG pictures there, that’s even cumbersome. Some of the younger staff were nice and engaged, others weren’t.
