This vineyard is well worth the trip. The vineyard offers a very nice selection of smooth wines. Very few dessert and sweet wines, which is great as I prefer dry wines. They also have a brewery and distillery on site. The vineyard allows picnic lunches, offers seating, or you can bring your own. A wine tasting is only $10 and the pours are hearty. Military is offered a 10% discount off of bottles too which is generous. I would highly recommend.

I had the most beautiful wedding at Old House Vineyard! The property is incredible, the wines are delicious, and the owners and staff are the nicest and most caring people. I truly felt so loved and taken care of the entire weekend. My husband and I now have photos and memories that we will cherish for a lifetime, and I couldn’t be happier about our decision to have our wedding there. This is a lovely place. It has a little something for everyone. The staff is friendly. You feel like you are at your friends home. The property is huge. They have a lake that has tables and seating for everyone. If you go on Monday they offer handmade pizza. Its delicious!!Even with social distancing, they make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

This is the only winery, brewery and distillery in one in the state of Virginia. There truly is something for everyone here but it doesn’t stop there.Monday FUNday is an experience not to be missed, they easily have the best wood fired pizza I have had since I can remember. The owners actually prepare and cook every pizza to make sure everything is perfect, and it shows! The property is breathtaking, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks are delicious.Truly a unique experience that should not be missed if you are near the area.

Beautiful venue with plenty of space for gatherings large or small. Virtually every seating space has a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The quality of the wine and other available spirits are as fantastic as the grounds. Staff are knowledgeable and very inviting to their space.

Beautiful winery/brewery/distillery with amazing, friendly staff. All the beverages are delicious. Hands down some of the best wines in this area, all priced very reasonably. Plenty of outdoor seating! The live music is always a plus! Kid friendly, but there are also dedicated 21 and over areas which is great! A beautiful place that I had the opportunity to visit for my first time. The wine is very good, the Old House Vineyard facilities are cozy and make you feel in a family atmosphere. I must say, probably due to the pandemic situation, a variety of food is needed.

As always, Old House is the best. Wonderful wine, beer and music in a beautiful setting. Its just so sad that some people cannot be caring enough to protect the serving staff and other guests by complying with Managements request to simply wear a mask when ordering drinks.

Old house is a great one stop destination! We could have stayed the entire day if it didnt rain. The venue is beautiful. The barns are rustic with military homage. They have something for everyone. Wine, beer, and liquor! You do have limits of the amount of liquor you are served, however that is for the best. The wine is average for Virginia wines and the liquors are great! We tried a coffee rum and it was fantastic! I wanted to try the beers but we had to leave. It will give us a good reason to come back and spend the day!

The best Virginian wine I have found so far. This place is beautiful. I made it there for the last pizzas of the season (April-October) and had a chance to look around. Yhe pizza was cooked in a wood fire pizza oven and went great with their October Fest Beer! This place has a winery, distillery, and Brewery. They grow grapes, barley, and wheat on their land. They have built a Pub and beer house, and there is plenty of outdoor seating. On weekends they have live music and the owner collects vintage military vehicles.

Such a fantastic space! There’s plenty of photo opportunities, views and options (brewery onsite as well).

Let me start by saying: if you are on the fence about coming here for whatever reason, get in the car and head over!Though I live in NJ and not in VA, visiting Old House is basically a requirement whenever I visit my friends in the area. The business that they have built here is amazing. They offer everything you could want, from wine to beer. The pizzas that they offer are also delicious and are a highlight of our trips. The scenery is extremely peaceful and is defining a huge part of the vineyard’s charm.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place I would...my friends and I love to go to wineries and this is one of the top ones I’ve ever been too. It’s such a neat place and history to it-you literally feel like part of the family the moment you walk through the doors. Chris our server was absolutely amazing and made us want to come back even more than we already did! We got to meet Rhya (I think I’m spelling that right) who is one the grandmothers of the owners...she was so great! The atmosphere is nothing but amazing. Located in the country with lots of beauty to surround yourself with. The staff obviously are amazing (thanks Chris!) The wines are delicious and love the fact that they let you bring your own picnic! Definitely will be back and bringing more friends and family! (We went Valentines Day weekend and they had a DELICIOUS fondue option to buy!) $8 tasting and wines are decently priced considering we are so close to NOVA!

Friendly staff, awesome brews and wines...they even make their own tequila! The grounds are definitely worth strolling with your lover or friends while you sip and chat! Def worth the drive!

I love this place! I’ve been here at least 6 times and every time we have received great service, had great beer, wine, or whiskey and the environment is always great. You can bring your own picnic and have your wine or beer on premises.

Visited 16 wineries in the area over the past couple days. During the Covid restrictions it can be a mystery as to how different wineries are operating currently.Old House Vineyards is not only a winery its also a brewery and a distillery. They have wine in flights, glass or bottle. The Bacchanalia was my favorite of the two flights I tried. Plenty of outdoor seating well spaced out and hand sanitizer on every table.

How can you go miss out on a winery, distillery and brewery??? Knowldgeable, friendly staff... Thad in the distillery is noteworthy, quite knowledgeable in the distilled spirits... Definitely worth the trip

Ive been to old house many times since living in Culpeper. My last notable visit was my parents wedding here after being apart for 30 years I found my father and my mother rekindled her long lost true love to him. If old house can handle that id say they have the atmosphere to do just about anything. If you havent been youre missing out and just a great place to be. Every visit feels like a family reunion or visiting a park that also serves great food and fantastic adult beverages. Cant wait to try OH Whiskey and Grog 349 among others over heard so much about.

My wife and I got married here June 1st 2019 and everything was perfect! The property is stunning, the wines, liquor, and beers are tasty and if youre just looking for a great place to spend the day you should definitely check this place out. There are food trucks here all the time and the family that owns and operates this property do a fantastic job of creating a warm welcoming environment for its patrons. I have been back many times and will continue to return to Old House Vineyards for years to come!

Always a treat when I come to this vineyard. I love their Vidal Blanc and I always like to pick up a bottle of their Blue Agave when Im running low. The best winery, distillery and brewery in the area!

My husband and I got married at Old House Vineyards in June of this year. We couldnt have chosen a better venue! OHV is gorgeous and picturesque. Allyson and her staff were wonderful to work with. She had our compete trust (which says a lot, as brides and husbands-to-be can feel a bit neurotic at times). The wedding was absolutely perfect! I completely recommend OHV to any brides and grooms-to-be (and, of course, anyone looking for a great glass of wine at a beautiful venue)

We were on the 50 years of LOVE Trolley tour last weekend. The owners son led our tour. He was very informative and passionate about the grounds and what they do there. When we went to the tasting house we were met by a welcoming group that included the owner. This family is passionate, educated and thoughtful. They pay attention to their environmental impact as well as offering a superb product! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

I get that it is a brewery but all they serve is beer, wine, and water. There wasnt even a soda or juice option for the DD!! Plus the $6 Hot Dogs were definitely not worth it. We went to see Dave Goodrich but the sound was bad so really couldnt appreciate his talent either. Bummed, had thought there would be at least a little more to it with such a nice setup.

Lovely countryside winery with amazing scenery to enjoy a glass of delicious wine. Limited types of Craft Beer is usually available as well. I really enjoyed the Octobefest. IPA was good too. Plenty of space for furry friends and kids to walk around. Warm spacious rooms in the main house reconditioned into what appears to be a restaurant. But besides a snack bar, I did not notice an actual kitchen. I truly recommend visiting this place for the day or for a nice and memorable stop.

How can you go wrong.... Winery, Distillary with museum, Brewery and an Irish Pub. Beautiful venue.

Just had a wonderful time at Old House Vineyards! The wine and spirits are fantastic but the staff was the best part. All very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and very easy to talk to! We had a wonderful time at Old House winery! Myself and my bridesmaids visited here on a late summer weekend and really enjoyed the wine and lovely grounds. Eric at Walden Hall recommended that we visit here and we were so pleased! There was a large variety of wines and we were able to buy bottles to take back to the family. We will visit again when we are back in the area!

The history behind the house is fascinating...do the wine tasting and hear all about it. Wines are great to boot!The Distillery is tasty and visually AWESOME in a WWII theme with AUTHENTIC memorabilia as well as military gear.

Went here for their St. Patties event they had beef stew and what not. But my review is all on the wine itself. We did their flight it cost $5.00 a person or $7.00 & you keep a nice glass. Overall their wines are very good to excellent. I really enjoyed their whites & reds. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere is very nice and has a great area to relax and enjoy a bottle or a glass of wine. I highly recommend this as one of your stops.

Were members, but feel more like family. What a wonderful place to relax with good friends and enjoy great wine!! Our favorite winery, hands down. Love summer-sunday afternoons with music and brick oven pizzas. Then soups or fondue by the fireplace when the cooler weather arrives. This is a must go to for wine enthusiasts.

After coming here for a couple years I have to change my review, this place use to be perfect and my favorite overall winery. But now it just kinda seems like a party house. This place is 5 stars on the weekdays but its just way too packed on the weekends, our most recent visit when visited the brewery and there wasnt a single place to sit. Their Rose is still a go-to drink, the distillery every spirit is amazing, their new brewery is pretty tasty, just the last few visits have been a bit hectic running around finding a place to sit indoors especially on a cold day.
