Normally a great place. Recent heat is having its impact. Water looking a little algae colored today
Boats are in great shape
Excellent place to rent a canoe or kayak. Great country store for browsing afterwards.
Fun place to go kayaking, fishing and relaxing. recommend going during cooler days like the current fall weather.
This is a great comic store. The staff are always friendly and very helpful.
Fished here as a kid in the 70s and 80s before all the new stuff was added it did have a gravel ramp to launch a boat and that was all. I guess all the new stuff was inevitable but while nice it lost some of the charm it had from my youth. I miss the way it was and I guess I always will
Great boating and even a small tunnel under the hwy! Lots of fun!
Absolutely beautiful place to meditate relax and enjoy nature
Ideal for kayaking, boating and peddling, but not for picnic. Need some improvements to make it a great place for family recreation!
Its just a beautiful place to spend the day.
Very relaxing experience!!
Beautiful lake loved the paddle boats
Straight off 29 behind country store. Concrete ramp, kayak/canoe roller ramp. Rent almost anything sup, single double kayak, paddle boat. 4 person paddleyak. Super clean. Only a Port-o-potty. Large Pavillion available for reservation. 255 acres of easy paddling.
Awesomely breathtaking...
Pleasant setting! Being adjacent to The Country Store certainly is an advantage.
Beautiful spot!
Paddle boat rentals are way fun and fishing is pretty good
Beautiful and great scenery
Its somewhere to go when you want to just sit back and relax and read a book or just to be to yourself.

Lovely location
A silent little lake on the outskirts of a nice neighborhood. Very great place to watch birds
Nice lake
Great time.
New public boat ramp located next to Lake Pelham Adventures and the Old Country Store, right off of Rte. 29. State and local boating permits required, along w/ life jackets and whistles. Boat rentals at Lake Pelham Adventures (paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats); lakeside pavilion rental from the Old Country Store (closed Sundays, I think). Both of the other older boat ramps appeared to be closed the last time I was out. The one to the north seemed to be cordoned off for now, due to construction. (Dam repair?) The other one used to be off of the SW branch of the lake, I think. Water level was too low, and the whole thing was filled with water lilies or something similar when I was there. My husband and I came across what may be Pectinatella magnifica freshwater bryozoa when we were out last. Ive been meaning to ask around and see if someone could confirm that. If you dont know what those are, they are sort-of, er, like a freshwater sponge-like creature. At first, you might think they are plastic bag trash floating on the surface -- until you get a closer look. Hadnt seen those before. It was weird.Anyway, nice, peaceful lake, for the most part, although toward the northern end is a subdivision on a hill and some sort of water intake pump. Otherwise, mostly quiet; large houses, mostly trees and some farmland.Oh yeah, and I think that fishing is permitted, with local and state licenses. =)
Long walk from where i started but
Favorite.
Nice place.
Boat ramp closed, one picnic table, no public restroom
Lake
Awesome place
