Our 4 year old had a TON of fun. The older kids werent into it as much. It has a fun little petting zoo, pony rides and train rides. There wasnt a lot of shade. Bathrooms are limited. Over all we had a good time.

Its like a nice little park with goats. The park area has plenty of child friendly activities. I really enjoyed playing giant checkers. The goats are cute and so are most of the other animals. Not a large variety of animals to see but for the price what you get is well worth it. If you stay in the area its definitely a place you should visit. I dont thinks its with the hour plus drive from se Houston though. The staff a friendly and helpful. The concession stand was as diverse in choice as the animals. If you do decide to eat there you will have you standard frito pies, pickles and chips. My experience was ok... Oh FYI no need to bring a mask no one there is going to be wearing one.

This place has a lot of potential and is currently pretty rundown. Could be great if it was spruced up! The nicest area is a playground my 4 year old loved, but I can go to a really nice free public playground so that’s not a reason to make a return visit to me.

Awesome hidden gem. Very cheap entrench fee....and very cheap food. Great petting zoo. Will definitely return next time we are in the area. Great, cheap way to kill some time with children.

This place is a good place for young kids. I would not take older kids. From an adult perspective it was pretty run down. Lots of broken things around the property. Also looks like a lot of the toys are 20 years old.Random boats that are not in good shape placed throughout. Do not recommend the hay ride. It’s just a ride around the property breathing in the fumes from the about to be broken lawn mower.The petting zoo was great and the animals were very friendly.My 2 and 4 year old had a great time. The staff was also very friendly.For the price I would have expected a bit more but it was still a fun time for the kids.

Small family style farm. A great way to spend an afternoon with younger kids. Has small corral of various animals and several play areas, including a playground, large playhouse, horse for rides, puppet show area, and tractor driven choo-choo train. Can have birthday parties there for a reasonable price.

This place was great. We went with our homeschool group and everyone was so nice. My 3 and 5 year old kids loved everything. And we enjoyed picking pumpkins to carve for Halloween. I cant recommend it enough.

Its a quaint and affordable place to take kids for a couple of hours. Petting area, swings, soccer nets, some picnic-like food. $6.50 per adult seems a fair price for what it is. Is there maybe some way dress this up? Yeah, maybe- a bit better maintained, a slightly more engaged staff, but - cmon it is what it is and youre kid up until about 10 or 11 is gonna have a good time!

Its a great way to get away for the day. All activities are outdoors and just check weather to make sure you wont get rained out. It is good for kids 10 and under and it can get packed based on the weekend and timing.

Umm people very nice. No masks no disinfecting anything made me nervous. I hate to say this but kind of run down. Probably from covid 19 .. But a few things were not safe.. Sorry

My 11 month old and I had such a great time. We enjoyed the petting zoo and the playground equipment. We can’t wait to come back in October for the pumpkin patch.

The petting zoo animals are friendly and diverse -- llamas, goats, sheep, donkeys, even a deer and a tortoise.Mini-golf is a PERFECT intro for young kids.The zip line is safe and just fast enough and long enough to be fun.Good-sized playground, swings and benches everywhere.Lots of yard games throughout the park -- chess, checkers, horseshoes, etc...Basketball, soccer...Kids loved the barrel train. Its nice and slow, so safe for even little kids.Well-stocked snack bar where you can order a meal or a snack for a reasonable price -- and plenty of picnic tables and trash cans throughout the park.Lots of good spots for photo ops.

Pretty small place. But its affordable. Definitely seems to be more so for younger kids. But the animals were cool. There were baby goats..

Love, love, love this place. My daughter loves it. Everyone is incredibly kind. So happy we found it.

I have no complaints. My children where happy, and having fun. We all left with all of our fingers and toes!

Was not to crowded when we went, kids had fun and pricing was fair. We would definitely go again.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday this past weekend at 7 Acre Wood and I am happy to say, I will be doing the same next year. What a magical place with friendly and helpful staff. There was so much for the kids to do and enjoy! The treasure hunt package was worth the extra charge and the staff was extremely accommodating. I’m not sure which activity was my favorite, the animals in the petting zoo were amazing. Highly recommend taking a day to come and explore with the kiddos!

My little family and I enjoyed it but I expected more and it would be nice to be able to make some fajitas.

Its best to go during the fall when it is cooler outside and they have hay rides and pumpkin patches. It is a large open area with several different sections, including large chess and checkers, swings for toddlers, swings for bigger kids and a slide/playground area. You can feed animals ranging from goats, horses and deer. Overall a good place to take kids as long as its not too hot.

Fun place to go on a sunny day took my kids there they had a lot of fun

We set up a booth here for the Christmas market. Unfortunately no one was shopping, but the kids had so much fun with the sand pit, play yard, petting zoo... we will definitely be going back to let the kids play. My 3 year old asks every week when we will go back

Seems like an ok spot for young kids. Something to keep in mind, there was not a single employee wearing a mask, even behind the concession. Some of the animals looked like they needed some veterinary care, but were otherwise friendly.

Very outdated and poorly maintained. Please note that the place (like others in the area) completely ignoring state ordinances for COVID19, no mask required, the team not wearing masks either, pens for the receipt signature are not sanitized, etc.

This was a very nice place to visit with kids, they really had everything to keep them busy. Only thing Id say is its outdoors so try not to go in high humidity days.

It was off season, as a matter of fact, we were the only guests there! Even so, we were treated so kindly. There were endless activities. My 2 1/2 yr old grandsons favorite activity was feeding the animals in the petting zoo. He was quiet tickled when after feeding the llama it spit a mouthful right back at us! (Mimi wasnt nearly as tickled as he! )We had a blast!

My children loved the animals,lots of different outdoor scenes for the kids, but would be so much better with more employees to assist.

It was just enough activities to wear my grand daughter out. Lol

Came here for home school day with the kiddo, and I must say it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. It was nice just to get away from all the noise and traffic of the city, and be somewhere kids (or adults) could just run and be free. It wasnt crowded, ample parking and not super expensive. I could tell the place has probably seen better days, but I still appreciated a nice place to retreat for some peace and quiet. My son did not want to leave as he enjoyed playing with the farm animals in the petting zoo. There was such a variety, and the animals were calm natured, so quite nice to get so up close to them. There was one main runner the farmhand had to keep watch over as he secretly and strategically kept planning his escape. Lol. Who knew goats were so smart! But definitely a fun sight to see.There were also bench areas to sit and chill or eat lunch. They also sold snacks onsite as well. In different areas of the farm there were various games kids could play such as soccer, basketball (we even did a little 1on1), a playground, and a mini zip line as well.Id definitely return to catch some of their events coming up, or just another nice day out. :D

So much fun for little kids. Lots if space to run and explore. They have a new zipline that is the perfect size for younger kids. They have a petting zoo, putt putt golf, a playground, a puppet theater, basketball, soccer, a huge chess and checkers. I would definitely recommend visiting on a beautiful day.

Cute farm. Many activities. Could be really super if updated. Place in need of repairs. But its not well taken care of. The animals seem haggard. Pony ride is sweet.

This place has the right idea and all the ingredients to make it a really enjoyable day trip for the kids. The reason why Im not giving it 4 ot 5 stars is that its dirty and unkempt. The owners could make this place top notch with a bit of extra care and cleaning. That said, my son really loves coming here and petting the animals and riding the pony and playing in the sand pit.

My daughter had a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch and the petting zoo. I thought that all the prices were reasonable and the staff were great.

Such a great place for kids to go and have some enter action with animals. The goats love to escape from their pens and give fathers a little exercise to catch them. That was fun to watch but their is a young boy that is an expert. A real goat wrangler.

We bought a groupon and planned our first visit with our 8 children to 7 Acre Wood. My husband took a very rare morning off early and we took the kids on a family trip, telling them about everything fun we had read about this place on their website. We checked the weather and site that morning - the weather said 5% chance of rain, and the site said open 9-5.We drove with all of the kids for 1 hour and 20 minutes and pulled into a nearly empty parking lot. It was lightly sprinkling but stopped as we parked. We were so happy that there werent bad crowds for our first visit until we realized that there was a sign saying Closed due to inclement weather. We were stunned, and the kids were understandably upset. While we sat in the parking lot scratching our heads, 4-5 other cars pulled in, also frustrated to have taken the trip for nothing.Having taken this rare day all together as a family, we scrambled to find something else to do with no notice and settled on an additional 45 minute drive back to the downtown aquarium, which ended up costing us $300 more than the farm would have, had it been open.To say we are disappointed with the lack of communication from this business would be an understatement of the year. We are out a ton of extra time and money, and what was going to be a fun family day outside turned into a crowded, downtown expensive stressful day of driving.So I guess the moral of the story is, call before you go? And dont be surprised if you get there and theyre closed.**Update: the owner called and apologized the next day, which was very nice of him. But the apology, along with the reasoning you know Texas weather and we dont have the ability to update the website daily was not enough to compensate us for the time and money wasted, and not enough to make us brave a trip up there again any time soon, just in case.

So much park for the money. We traveled 8 hours to see family. This was a great inexpensive way to spend a saturday afternoon.

What a cute place! We loved being able to go in by the animals and all the fenced in area for my kiddo to run around. The sno cones were a hit. I wish there were a splash pad or something to keep cool, but once the weather cools, we are going back!

Kids will love it, parents will cringe. No supervision or clean up at farm area: lots of poop and loose animals and gates that slam/ pinch. 1 broken hand cleaning dispenser. Rebar rods sticking up out of ground and no enclosure for metal horseshoes with kids running around. Checker board pieces broken with sharp plastic edges. Some new items and some very very run down items.

The best place! Its cheap and clean. Friendly staff too.

The kids always love their outdoor time here:Lots of room to roam,inexpensive feed to give to the group of farm animals,especially the cute baby goats, put-put golf, the dual zipline competitions the kids have, lil puppet show, pony and lil train ride,and the play equipment plus oversize gameboards..all,make for a whimsical,heart-pumping healthy adventure. And the entry price is half of Old Mcdonalds farm in Humble. Itd worth the drive.

This place is so cool. Took the kids here on a sunday to get out of the house. Super cheap to get in. The admission gives you access to the mini golf, petting zoo, (pay a little extra for cups of feed) two playgrounds, big wooden boats to climb through, A seasonal area for pictures, tether ball, zip line.. They have consession stands. They even had a tractor hay rides (pay a little extra)You pay extra for the paint ball.. Which is an area set up in the very back. Really cool affordable place to take the family. For kids 10 and under mostly.. Though my 12 yr old did enjoy some aspects of it. Will visit regulary.

Beautiful area and so much fun! Lots of animals to feed in the petting zoo including goats, sheep, cows, llamas and even a tortoise! The baby goats are adorable and always escaping their pens there is a nice large playground, a covered sand area with smaller play structures for little children, cars on a track and some playhouses and swings. There are also stations with every type of sport imaginable, a basketball hoop, tetherball pole, scooter area and soccer nets! Two boats are avail early to climb and play one though one was roped off when we visited. They also have a zip long at the back of the property that’s a ton of fun and a train ride for an extra fee. There are bags of feed for purchase and Groupons are available. You can also have parties here! My daughter loved it and we will definitely be coming back soon!

This is a great concept for kids. Its large in space and plenty to do. The only downside is Texas heat. We enjoyed it as well as the kids it was just too hot totally enjoy it. Maybe better to come during the spring and fall. The zip line was great and we live the feeding of the animals. The horses were nice and friendly. It was real chill.

Pricing for a yearly pass will be worth it for my family as they enjoyed being able to pet the animals and play freely all over. This place is great for kids 3-8 and Im sure good for older kids as well. Take some water with you in the summer because this heat can be hard on people. The staff there were very friendly and we will be coming back some more! Thanks for a great time.

I dont think youre supposed to hold the baby goats. But we did and it was fantastic.

Unfortunate our experience was not so great since the day we went they decided to close early, closed at 2pm when their normal hours they close at 5pm. They closed early bc “it was a slow day”, but did not say that when we entered and they charged us! Also they did not offer to refund us when we had only been there an hour. Payed for 5 kids and 2 adults and was not worth the money spent for only one hour, the kids were pretty upset we had to leave so soon.

Nice place for the family

Visited 7 Acre Wood for a friends wedding and had a terrific time. The staff was on the ball and the wedding went off like clockwork. The facilities for kids were nice and we loved meeting the animals (especially the baby goats)! My wife and I will be bringing our nephew for an outing on a regular day soon!

Great place for kids. Pony rides, places for parties, and lots of small, if older, activities. Animals looked well-fed (Mostly by my wife) and happy. Good selection of food and drinks with a young staff who seemed happy to be there.

Such a nice peaceful and entertaining place to go with the family. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the activities are fun to do. You can golf, zip line, play tether ball, giant checkers, giant chess, and so much more. Definitely going back to do more activities we couldnt fit in for the first visit.Definitely recommend this for a nice weather day as well as fun way to show your kids some animals. Especially the fuzzy Islander. :)

Pretty cool spot for bday parties. The blow up water slide was SO MUCH FUN for kids and adults. Only downside was the very bad ant problem! The goats and animals were cool. Its a VERY big outdoor space, so great for kids to get energy out. The staff wasnt super attentive - I think theyre used to things being slow, and dont rush to help when youre trying to squeeze everything into the allotted time for a party. But they were very sweet.

Had my grandsons 2nd birthday here. It was perfect in every way!
