1st time here and my younger kids loved the playground, older ones loves the trails. Will be going back on a regular basis. Definitely a new favorite.

This park is always a great place to get away. Its wonderful for kids and adults. Super pet friendly and always clean. They even have a huge pavilion with tables for gatherings and bar b que pits.

Had a lot of fun hiking the trail system; even managed to get myself lost! wish there had been more than the one you are here map I found, but I managed. very nice pavilion area and a playground is a big plus.

Good disc golf course the city rarely does maintenance, and walkers and dog walkers walk all through out the disc golf course

This is by far my favorite disc golf course I’ve ever been to. It’s basically a hiking trail with a disc golf course as you go. It is rougher terrain- a lot up and down hill, but that made it more fun for us! Holes 6/7 did not have their posted maps/par, but everything else was amazing! Lots of tree cover, as well, kept us from burning.

The park is nice and wooded. Shaded seating, bbq pits available, cute playground, trails, pavilion, convenient parking. Be careful not to trip over any roots if you run. Also very clean kept. Great place to take pictures.

This was our First to this Park. I took some of our grandchildren and they had a Great Time! The Playground was Wonderful, the Restrooms were in Good Shape, and we really enjoyed the Trails! They had a Nice Pavillion and there was Plenty of Parking! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Park!!!

Such a great park, the kids enjoyed the playground and I enjoyed the history I learn. We didnt walk the trials but plan in coming back soon!!

Love the hiking trails through the woods. Different paths well mapped and benches along the way. Nice picnic, playground and frisbee golf facilities here too.

This place is a hidden jewel! Wonderful, quiet, pet friendly and well kept nature trails, disc golf course and playground with clean restrooms, BBQ and picnic tables. Its one of those places is so wonderful that people seem to clean up after themselves and try to take care of the park. Theres enough acreage to be alone along the trails or just say hi to the friendly people that frequent the place. Highly recommended!

We love this park. Our dog loves it too. It’s well taken care of and well used. The disc golf course is popular, and I like to walk the course with my dog. I haven’t used the toilets, but I know they get cleaned weekly as I have often been there when the cleaners are there.

Nice amenities, large open air pavillion, plenty of parking, several nice walking paths, though some have been washed out in places making it difficult for older walkers.

This place is amazing! My family and I went on. Road trip from Kansas to Texas and we had to stop to let our little girl run around since it was a long road trip. Found this looking on Google maps. It kinda hides from the road, so I was not surprised to find it empty (and it was just around lunch, too). Super pristine park. Very clean. Has small hiking trails that would be good for younger kids and a Frisbee golf course. The bathrooms were very clean as well. The picnic area is covered and is very cool to sit under. Loved this place, would love to stop there again.

Love the course could use some trimming in the fairways but amazing place to be with all the wilderness

This is a great park. My kids love it, its on the wafer, but protected by fencing. But if english is your first language and you are a lower middle class dad, prepare to be judged.

Loved it! Was here doing some Geocaching. Great trails, large playground, and disc golf course. The covered patio area is better than most in the area. Well kept and tidy.

This is a peaceful and interesting place to take your little ones and big ones and 4 legged ones. Great trails and playground. We also relocated a special rock. Go out and find it!

Very nice park, actually named for a distant relative of mine! Basketball Court, restrooms, several grills for BBQing and trails for walking, bikes, and pets.

Nature trails are great. Just about the right length for the two 6 year olds...meaning I did not have to pick up or drag them. Play structure was nice but has no cover so it was super hot to touch. Park is very well maintained.

I love this park. Nice Short And Look Trails. The Small Park Is Mainly For Bigger Kids But My Toddler Loves To Slide And Walk The Trails With Me. Its Quiet. Lots Of Picnic Tables. And Benches To Sit And Rest Throughout The Trails.

We love it here. The dogs have a blast and everyone we meet are always super friendly with the dogs. Clean and family friendly.

Its nice and quiet and great place for kids, its not to close to a main road but the restrooms there are always nasty.. If my son needs to use the bathroom or my self i will actually leave the park to go find a restroom n come back that how nasty they are.. Ither than that the park is nice

If youre looking for a short day hike, this park offers nice scenery and three trails to follow, but it overlaps with a disc golf course at some points so be on the lookout for flying objects.

Me and my husband were looking for an easy trail to walk so we found this park near us that had a trail when we went down the trail not only was there a trail but there was disc golf trail to it was very fun and beautiful just to walk around the trail was easy and very Woodythey also have a park for kids with swings and slides and all that stuff they have a water fountain for dogs and they have clean restrooms it took us about an hour to walk the trail theres also a creek that runs through the trail so that was nice too

One of the best parks in Conroe. Nice walking trails in the woods. Very clean playground. The only negative is the restrooms.

Really enjoy this park. Well kept, clean, and surrounded by beautiful walking paths. Numerous picnic tables and grills if you wanted to have a birthday party or an event. (Some covered, some not.) Frisbee golf course, walking paths that range from .25 mile to a mile, and a playground.Be careful back in the paths though... I have gotten lost!Highly recommend for children of any age, people looking for a nice place to walk their dogs, or adults just wanting to get some fresh air.

We are going to miss Mr. John Burge coming by the office with black eyed peas from the bank. Sweet old boy who always had a smile on his face. This park is a great tribute to him and his service. Its a rather large, secluded and hidden park featuring a vast play area for the children, frisbee golf, beautiful scenery and a good bit of hiking trails. There is a huge pavilion which has many tables; great for events, as I have personally reserved & used it twice now for that purpose. There is also an actual bathroom! The park is kept very clean as I have been here many, many times over the last 3 years. The location of the park is semi secluded, so it has remained quiet for as long as I have been coming here, which may very well change soon since the area around here is being built up so more people are bound to stumble upon this eventually.

This a wonderful park with great nature trails. There is also a Disc Golf Course. There is a playground and a very pretty public art work. Itsa great place to take your dogs for a walk as well. It also has a number of Geocaches if you are interested. It is kinda off the beaten path so its not too busy.

Playground is nice. Walking trails are really nice, just be sure to wear bug spray. The picnic area with pavilion is great and looks much nicer than most part pavilions.

Good park. I walk my dog here once in a while. There are a few very short trails in the woods. They disc golf setup. There is a bathroom & i recommend using it before you go walking in the woods. There is a big pavillion for picnics. Good small park. Usually empty. And please pick up your dog poo.

Nice, clean, modern. The walking trails are nice as well and the addition of frisbee golf is cool. You can rent the pavilion for parties, but its not terribly busy either.
