Small park but its nice for evening runs

Not too busy in the late afternoon evening, morning lots of people running around the circular gravel track around the perimeter.

Middle of the week 2 fellers doing laps and cool and shady. Sprinklers on. Pleasant

Good park, always fun. Sand, and two play structures. The only thing is that there is minimal parking and the bathrooms could use an upgrade. Bring hand sanitizer or soap!

Nice track to take a morning walk or run. Spacious enough for a little fun tossing a disk with your dog, having a picnic, or playing a ball game.

I just love to walk my dog here or sometimes when Im alone I enjoy jogging or strolling here. The place is so peaceful with a friendly neighborhood. Nice park to chill and have a picnic with family and friends.

Nice area to walk around the track. I really like how their playground has upgraded over the years. I played at the playground when I was younger and my son did too.

Nice park with childrens playground, restrooms, and a big oval used for all manner of sports including Australian Rules football. A circular path around it is popular with local joggers. Parking is limited and the field has some substantial ruts and gouges, but otherwise a nice place to jog, play, or picnic.

This park is nothing spectacular, but still a great place to go for walks and get some fresh air. Really enjoy the trees and the shrubbery, as well as the dogs walking in the park. Park has gravel roads and so you probably shouldnt wear your nicest shoes there, especially after rain, but other than that it is a great place to go, and have a picnic/BBQ as well.

Hot in the summer, limited shade for the playground, but good space between picnic tables. Features are just ok. Whats tough is being next to 4 Lanes of traffic and the Bart line so expect noise distracting you from what should be a pleasant nature experience.

This is a nice park with room for a soccer field, a dirt/gravel walking path going around it, lots of trees other than on the field area, and a couple of play structures. There isnt a lot else to it, and the parking lot only has room for around a couple dozen cars, but its nice for quick park visits.

Its pretty quiet here. My husband and I often go here for lunch as there are many benches with shaded seating for a sunny day. We will also walk the track.

Full of visitors, all ages and playground for children with toilet facilities. Even schools classes met for outdoor activities and learning.

Sweet little spot

I absolutely love this park. I go there almost everyday. So walk my dog and go to play catch with them. I have a huge field for soccer baseball whichever you like. They have a giant playground . It has that new rubber so the kids cant get . Public bathrooms with handicap bathrooms handicap parking handicap accessible. Its beautifully maintained meticulously kept. free parking. Barely see homeless people there unlike a lot of the parks around here lately. Always lots of kids on the playgrounds for other kids to play with and Mom. Big picnic area for birthday parties which they were having when I was there last time big one too. Oh I just cant say enough about this part. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is Im from Southern California and the parts there are just a lot lot bigger other than that its it is five stars. How does watering fountains for your dog if they get thirsty by the way. Also it has a nice running walking Track around the whole part 2 for the joggers. You wont be disappointed with this Park.

Good park for football if your a far thrower and the field is big enough for a soccer game. The playground is fun for kids.

Been a concord resident for many years i at times feel that the citys leadership is dropping the ball, this park is being a little neglected, as are other areas of the concord hardscape & landscape, for example they are painting lines on the pavement,when is so FULL OF POTHOLES EVERYWHERE, hello whats going on concord leaders????????

Great park for the kids! I used to come here with my sisters, neices and friends when i went to oak grove middle school and we all enjoyed the YV PARK from what i remember! I know i had a lot of memorable times here ! ! !

This was my first time visit to YV Park... We were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, well groomed, and the adults and children at the playground were pleasant, friendly, and well behaved! It seemed that most of them were regulars. We will go back again!

On a warm, weekday summer afternoon the park and playground looks nice as a basic neighborhood outdoor spot. Two play structures for big and little kids, both with wood chips, and a small sand play area. Nearby is a circular track or path with grass in middle for ball play. Small parking area. Would visit again.

Love the large grass field. Im training my puppy to follow me, so its large enough for her to go off leash and I dont have to worry about her running into the streets.

This is a park that I go to all the time with my service dog so that an exercise so nice park they have a big childrens play area seems like its very safe. bathrooms, also a big field for soccer baseball nice place to take your family out on a weekend picnic.

Not easy to park there during weekends or holidays but nice and safe enough. Picnic tables and BBQ pits available. Playground too and lots of shade!

The park service took my bag during non-curfew hours as I was a bit away from it jogging!

Peaceful

First day of no rain in a while so a bit muddy around the track. Really like that they have bathrooms but remember to squat & bring hand sanatizer. Love that they have picnic benches in the sun & shade aka year round picnic areas depending on weather. Playground seems nice enough but didnt have kids with me to test it out. Parking lot is a bit small & be paying attention or you might go in the out like I did cause I missed the first turn. Lol

Theres a nice playground here and tables can be reserved. Unfortunately there are rugby teams playing in the grassy area and the players urinate in the bushes in front of the kids or near your table. They take all the parking places and abuse nearby cars.
