Love it, they have so many events going on, and was Truly Happy that I was able to Vote early at Shirley B. Winston this year! Also, I have been able to watch my grandson swim, play football and baseball at the park.

A campaign is needed to get the pool reopened. Vote yes!

The park used to be something special, and it could be once again. I guess that my rating here is more so aspirational than reality. It is a decent park, but until all the facilities are repaired and brought back up to standard, it will only be a shadow of what it was in the past.

Great and safe place to walk with the family.

Ample parking and I particularly enjoy the free line dancing at 5:30 pm.

I had an amazingly funny visit to this park. I guess there was a little league game going today. The time is about 6:30 pm, and I am already back home, but I arrived at 6:00pm to the park. So my mother-in-law, picks me up to go to this park. I have only been here one handful of times, mostly to the rec though. I tag along to go walk this track. The park is beautiful, clean well kept. Although the ants arent that friendly, I have gotten 2 bites and didnt even realize I was under attack. However, the witty part of this is the walk. We begin to walk the the track around the baseball field. We get halfway, my mother-in-law is talking. I interupted her to inform her I see a black dog laying in the grass ahead. She makes a few comments that I need not repeat, along the lines of we are not going to find out if the dog is friendly or not. She states, well that walk was short today and we turn around and head to the car. It was the most hilarious thing, if you could have heard all of her remarks. Overall I think it was a park dog, but if you are not familiar, you will not chance it. I think the park is nice though but they do need to treat their ants.

It was quite peaceful and beautiful

I was very surprised at how well maintained this park was. The main building is very large with a gym and other rooms for activities. There is a large baseball diamond and a small water park outside. Please if parking available.

Nice and spacious

Only been here twice, once for the water park and again at the rec. Center but both times were nice. Water park appeared clean and general grounds were free of trash. Probably go back a few times this summer.

Only one half of the court is available.Besides that its a great facility

Needs night time security. Nice park, I did not feel safe there at all.

Safe place would give it a 5 but the city never opens the pool that could be a great summer job for a high school student it would help keep them out of the streets and out of trouble

Playground areas & plenty of room for kids to run around. Seasonal swimming pool. Recreation facilities. Gounds very clean & manicured.

Park okay but wouldnt walk there alone. My friend car got broken into in June and her purse was stolen. The person drove up in a car and broke her back window out of her car and drove off with her purse

Nice walking trail. Setup a little different has to cross the road when following the trail. Play area small,have a hopscotch. Football field is always business. Has an indoor pool..

I had a game there last Saturday and the baseball field was nice

Pretty park. A lot to do for the active person. Unfortunately I noticed a lot of unnecessary garbage there today. Sad that people dont care of nature.

Its a great place to take the kids for activities or play at the playground.You can swim in the summer, play basket ball or use the fitness area and work out.They also allow you to use areas to host events. Its clean and well kept up .

Was kicking it w a dude who incidentally cursed me out @ the publix years prior. He wrote me a love letter. Drew hearts on the envelope & EVERYTHING. I still have it. Havent seen him since either. #oates

They don’t even allow 16 year olds in the weight room and they don’t even have a bench in there and barely anybody be in their. 16 year olds are high schoolers should be able to handle some weights.

Really nice park. Baseball field, playgrounds and swimming pool.

A park thats for everyone to have fun

I took my 3 yr old to the play ground. Lots of space to run and play. There was swings, slides and a bench for me to rest. The pool is not open yet, but it looks like it will be fun.

They need to fix the pool

I like Shirley B park and gym area. I dont like how the lazy employees try to close the gym 15 mins early. At least put the sign on the door if you guys want to throw us out the gym 15 mins early so we will know what to expect.

I really enjoyed this park. It was very quiet when I was there. It wasnt trashy it looked well kept.

Clean.. we had a graduation party here.. full kitchen.. nice playground.. there is a pool area which is very nice.. didnt get in but looked clean..

Great place to take free exercise classes, jog, swim and play cards. Shirley Winston park also have activities for children such as air hockey games, basketball courts etc.This is a great place that the whole family can enjoy.

The playground isnt very clean and unfortunately you have to be careful and mindful of your surroundings. Go during the day because ppl have been robbed here.
