This place really is great in top-notch for a pretty much inner city recreation Center. Yeah it could be in a more prestigious . neighborhood or fancier area but that’s not what it’s here for it’s for the public and the kids in the community. I’ve been here several times it’s very clean and very nice for a city recreation Center. I mean it’s a no-frills kind of place But that’s what also makes it great. They have a lot of kids programs and I think that’s wonderful. I would highly recommend it

Many things here. Large fields with walking trail around it and entire area. There is a rec center, outdoor swimming pool, skating park and playground.

Beautiful view of the city and has a nice walkway to get to downtown columbus. Just could be a little cleaner of a park. It is an up and coming area though being near Franklinton.

Nice pool but a rough neighborhood.

Wow...what an improvement from when I was a child. There was a very pleasant young lady to greet us in the lobby. She was very informative. The coach came out and introduced himself. We were also given a list of activities and hours as well as free bread and bagels.

My kids, My sister my nieces and nephews everyone enjoys this pool and we attend every summer Faithfully !

Ive been at all times of the day and all seasons, this place is great for the community. It seems to be empty a lot so that makes it pretty safe. In the mornings it seems to be a hangout for senior citizens with many different programs to enjoy. It has a small caffiteria, with a decent lunch sometimes, a library with some computers and a nice well stocked game room. They have a full court indoor basketball area with seating ( they host games and tournaments) and a very nice weight room and gym. The restrooms here are some of the cleanest the park and rec department has to offer. Nice looking public pool, Ive never swam there its for kids and Im not one. They have a skateboarding/ BMX park (a pool really) that could use a recoat or just rebuild and redesign. The park itself is clean (for a public park)and it seems it would be a nice place to jog or run or whatever they call it now. I think this place is safe but Im sure there are others that would say different, nothing has ever happened to me and Ive been going there with my family for years. This is a much needed place for Franklinton, I recommend.

Would have given 5 stars but theres nothing to eat here except ice cream. Very affordable! $6 for myself and 2 sons!

It is really nice and the life guards are amazing ..they definitely take their jobs seriously... Its nice to see people who are really happy with their work

This seems to be one of the best run senior centers of Columbus. It isnt convenient for me, so I havent been there a lot. But they seem to run enough variety of programs that it has been worthwhile for me to drive the distance to go to some of their programs.

Amazing place for the whole family, the staff are great, the game room is high quality, plus the wrestling team is very nice, most likely thanks to the outstanding gym.

I brought my grandson to the skate park. They have 3 skate bowls. One was filled with water from the recent rains. He enjoyed the visit and is anxious to return.

Nice rec center for the kids. The upgrade to this area is nice. Glad they got rid of Riverside Bradley apartments and those towers... Use to be the worst area. Cant wait until they are completely done with this area... Hopefully they can keep the available parking.

Love going to the pool. My 5 year old grandbaby loves it. Now shes big enough to go down the slide.

Spent way too much time at the skatepark but that was the early 2000s. Hope it continues to be a place for diehard skaters.

This this is an experience that went to hell.it was ok to start till it started filling up. Parents do not watch there kids which in turn caused chaos. Your personal items will get stolen if you dont watch. And what made it better trying to leave. There were literally people fighting at the gate trying to get in but they were at capacity. I do not recommend this place at all.

Renovated a couple years ago with a great diving tank and kids play water park. Very nice. We come from North Columbus to visit here.

Clean well maintained park that feels comfortable and safe .My kids and I often play with other peoples kids that come to the park and the atmosphere is extremely friendly

The skate park was designed by Tony Hawks dad. They have a steel line diving tank that is also a very cool.

It was not a good experience at all. I was there 15 minutes and in that time I was treated rudely by the guy at the front and there were 2 fights in the time I was there. The 2nd one resulted in them shutting down the pool and they werent letting people leave and when I was able to leave the helicopter was circling the pool as well as a very large amount of cruisers. I didnt feel safe I wouldnt even consider taking my family back.

Every year! The host or announcer is so so funny! Ive been at the game for 6 years now & she so damn funny! Ill be there for years to come as well. Thank you for donating the profits to local charities

Cool park with playground skate park and pool. Not advised to go after dark as neighborhood can be rough.

Very cool swimming pool for kids of all ages.

There was a long queue and there was only one person who does the data entry. It took more than an hour to get the leisure card. Staffs are friendly. Just that there is not enough staff to cater the people.

A lot to do for all ages. It is always great to see the young kids interacting with the Senior Citizens at the rec.

The price is right for such an awesome pool with so many things to do! Only a $1, Wow!

Plenty of open space for walking or jogging, playground, skate park and pool for the kids, and the views of the Scioto and downtown are unbeatable. I just moved to Franklinton and am so glad I am within walking distance of Dodge Park, its a treasure.
