My kids have been going here for years for summer camp. For dance and for holiday parties. The staff is awesome. They are just like family. I love this place

This place was my second home as me and all the neighborhood kids always met up and went to the rec center for hours at a time. Boy oh boy the memories. Dan Mesmer, rick Ewing, old man Bob, tee brown, kathy and there where so many other people that where great influence on all of us as kids.

Great programs for children to keep them active and out of the streets.

Great programming for both kids and adults. Knowledgeable, friendly, and patient staff. Lots of experience at this recreation center. Recently upgraded weight room with new equipment and big screen flatscreen TV. There are dance programs for kids and adults. Soccer, baseball, and tee ball leagues are in full swing for the youth and there are open gyms for adults on Fridays at noon. Very pleased with my Far East recreation experience. I will definitely be back and Ive told both my family and friends so theyve attended many events here as well.

Nice staff! We want for gymnastics it was in a small room lighting wasnt too good and they dont have any equipment just floor mats. The building is outdated. But overall it was decent

Excellent. Walking with the doctor is an excellent program. Come out and join us.

Children have enjoyed multiple activities at this rec center.They have a good staff.We mostly attend for dance with Miss Nicole.If you have a daughter who loves to dance Miss Nicole and her Dreaming of Broadway dance is the way to go!Cant say how blessed weve been to have her teaching our Grands to dance. ballet, jazz, tap, etc.

Needs checked for trash more often but overall nice park

Great staff. Nice and clean facility. Got about 45mins in of practice shooting. Thanks definitely going back.

Great community place

Great facilities to workout with lots of activities offered. The staff also does a great job with the kids.

The sports activities are great for young males. Their instructors/coaches are consistent and helpful. Great mentors for anyone needing a male in their childs life.

Great place been playing basketball for 3 years here and it has been always fun.

Polite staff

I got the king suite and thought it was immaculate... until I was woke up at 4am to bites of some kind! (bed bug bites). I notified the front desk and they switched my suite but that ruined it for me. I emailed them, they said there was no evidence of bed bugs but being awoken by bites and welts on my leg is evidence enough for me. Disappointed customer

They staff at Far East treat you like one of their own. I love it there.

Love the workout space! Close to home and its the best facility for the price.

Very dispointed in the Easter egg hunt they had just stale tootie rolls and smarties i bit the tootie roll almost broke my tooth i know they could have bought new candy and not used left over candy from last year my child was so sad

First impression matters, as well as professionalism. I went to register my children 2 weeks ago to be early for fall activities. First off the supervisor was extremely late from lunch and the co worker had no idea how to help me really. That was the beginning. After he finally helped us sent us on our way and said we were early to register and to call next week. I called that following week and left a message. No one got back with me. I called a few days later because I was unaware of when everything started. Mr. Grant the guy who runs the place answers the phone. I asked about what should i recieve in the mail about registration and he cut me off and said it hasnt started yet. I told him about my visit 2 weeks ago and how i was to follow up and he said i would know because i run the place. I said then i must have met you a couple weeks ago. He wouldnt really let me ask questions about the cheerleading or basketball skills he talked to me as if i already should have known! Wow! what customer service. Overall he was very rude and i politely told him that i would be looking elsewhere for my childrens activities. He said that works for me. Wouldnt want to be apart of a center with the Head being so rude. No one should be rude to newcomers. Its bad for business. Step it up professional wise Far East Rec..

Large park with lots of baseball fields and fair seating, but severely lacking in restrooms. Also, some fields were not well-maintained.
