We look our bikes to ride the short (4 mile round trip) trail and enjoy the cool fall temperature. This riverfront park is a gem in Columbia. We cant wait to visit again.

Beautiful scenic trailways. You can walk, stroll, ride, etc. The walkway is wide enough to passby others. There is both an open trail and a shaded trail. You can visit the rocks by the water and but you must be extremely careful as the water is moving fast. The current is strong. Bathrooms available. Fishing spots here and there.

Always a favorite place for me when I cant get to a beach, and for fantastic wildlife photography! An abundance of turtles, geese, herons & majestic osprey - along with gorgeous rushing water over the dam & rocks - even just to sit in the shade, walk either on the sunny Riverwalk or shaded sandy beach area, collect driftwood or mussel shells, or just sit & enjoy the breeze..you cant go wrong!

Another positively awesome day @Broad River Canal. The weather was great, not to hot nice breeze the pollen was low. The human & animal traffic was mild but tolerable w/a German beer festival starting as I was leaving... I nature. I have enclosed a few pictures of the canal & some of the scenary. Enjoy!!!

Very nice. 2.5 mile walk each way, so you easily do 5 miles. Very pretty - one of the few things I like about Columbia.

I love this place. Its peaceful. There are restrooms. Check for TP before you sit! Not always clean because not everyone received the same home training and they abuse the privilege.There are paved asphalt trails that run along the canal and there are sidewalk trails that run along a portion of the Broad River that feeds the canal. Its a great place for exercising, strolling, or taking pictures. Some people get in the water at the river. There is no lifeguard and this is not recommended! Dont do this!The canal trail is connected to the Riverfront Park. Partially shaded along portions of the trail. Great views!Parking usually isnt a problem. Do not leave any valuables in your car. Do not leave your car unlocked. Do not leave anything visible in your car either. Again, not everyone has home training and there is no video surveillance.

So peaceful and beautiful. Lots of people walking, jogging, biking. A great place to feel alive.

Great path for walking with stroller. Usually fairly crowded on the weekends and mornings but still plenty of room to walk. Beautiful industrial views and plenty of sun. Not much shade but usually a nice breeze from the river.

Its one of Columbias hidden gems. I love walking, biking and fishing there. Most of all I love the covered sitting areas.

Nice trail. Main path is a little crowded. The smaller trail by water was a little more remote. Nice walk.

Best trail to walk in Columbia. Since I moved to Columbia 21 years ago. Every time I walk this 5.3 miles great satisfaction.

My second favorite place in Columbia to sit back & relax! Parks & Recreation staff keep it clean, which makes it a great place to hang out with family and friends for a picnic and pictures!

Great place to walk outside. There is the main trail on the berm between the river and the canal but also a sidewalk down on the river side.

Went fishing there. Caught three small bream. It was during the later part of the morning, early afternoon. The road, from the gate to the park is rough, but at least you can park close to where you fish.
