This is a dream theater. I was blown away at the quality of talent and design in the “Trustus in the Round” production of “Streetcar” this past season. I will absolutely be returning soon!

Great performance of a classic.

Took my wife and oldest son to see Company. It was awesomely amazing!!!! So much talent on one stage. Loved the actors daring to break the fourth wall and interacting with the audience... Will definitely be back ..

First time in their black box section. Very snug intimate space. Saw Marjorie prime. Take a handkerchief. Very powerful. Excellent cast of four. Short run. Make room in your schedule to see it.

As a first timer, I enjoyed this sequel to Pride and Prejudice. The actors were fantastic and the play was well written and funny.Good selection of drinks, clean bathrooms.

Amazingly excellent theatre! The Company performance was top notch actors, dancers and singers all in one! Great band as well. Weve been to Plays from Abbeville, NC to Montgomery, Alabama (Shakespeare), but this was by far the most professional. Free popcorn beside every 2 seats that were on a private table. The actors were great, it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself. They provided popcorn and the scenes were simple but it was like I was really there. They did a great job.

Wow. This evening I had the pleasure of seeing Memphis, and as a first timer, I was slightly apprehensive as to what to expect. Let’s just say that I was blown away. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly, inviting, helpful, and informative. After getting a drink and being shown to our seats, we were thrilled to munch on the popcorn and read our program. The show started and I was instantly enthralled. The cast...wow. The leading lady...unreal. Gator? Made me cry. On the way home, my friend and I wanted to listen to the Broadway songs...and let’s just say, the songs tonight were just as good (if not better) than those. What an incredible hidden gem you have established here in Columbia. I will absolutely be back, and I cannot wait to share with everyone how much I truly enjoyed my night out. Thank you so so much.

Great performance space and community resource. Nice acoustics and site lines. Chairs are very comfortable and there are ample places to stand as well. Stage is large enough to accommodate more elaborate troupes and performances.

GREAT local theater thats not afraid to try interesting shows.

Good atmosphere. Presidential box seats are just really far back seats. We booked last minute so ended up there - still a good show, but get closer up if you can.

Absolute jewel in our community. Every show I have seen there have been AMAZING, friendly staff and excellent performers! It doesnt get better than watching a live play with a bottle of wine and cromers popcorn! Next step, season tickets!

Five stars for ambience. Three for content. Plots too heavy and language a bit coarse for me. Ive been a patron of Trustus since the 80s.

First time at a musical! I actually enjoyed it!

Fabulous theatre! Productions are always professional, unique, memorable...My favorite shows so far- The Restoration of Constance, Rocky Horror, and The American Tailer Park Christmas Musical. Wine and beer available for purchase and complimentary popcorn make it even more fun.

Small theater, but a small in a nice way. Their chairs are very comfortable. The actors and actress are locale people with very good performance. You can save some money if you buy seasonal ticket package. another nice thing about the seasonal tickets is that they do not expire.

Great intimate theatre where every seat is a good one. Complimentary popcorn and a wine bar are excellent bonuses for a great evening.

My favorite theatre in town. Always an excellent production to be seen. Great choice for a night out or a Sunday matinee. Dont forget to stop by the bar and grab a beverage to go with the free popcorn.

The Trustus Theater always puts on really great, modern plays, and the talent they attract is unbelievable.

The White Trash Christmas Musical was hysterical, fun and perfectly acted. I and my friends had the best time. the popcorn is delicious and the seats are very comfy.

I love the intimate atmosphere, variety of shows (from big Broadway to local playwrights) and you get free popcorn.

Trailer Park Christmas is an annual staple! Always a funny and entertaining show. Trustus is great for local theater and challenging productions.

Every play Ive seen here has far outclassed even the biggest names in musical theater.

Such fun productions, a convivial and welcoming environment, and a great little bar...oh, and comfy seats with lots of legroom. A nice way to spice up Columbia life!

My first experience with Trustus was with American Idiot, and I cant say enough positive things. The venue is small in the best of ways. All of the actors and actresses blew me away with their performance. I will definitely be returning.

Long-running indie theater in a Civil War-era building. Has 2 performance venues and a bar, super comfy seating. Presents new works and regional premieres of mostly American plays.

I always enjoy going to the Trustus. Went to see Aint Misbehavn recently. The cast and music were the best Ive seen & heard there thus far. Two thumbs up!

A Columbia landmark - definitely enjoyed the comfortable seats, small and intimate atmosphere, and talented performers. We saw American Idiot in July and thought the performers did a phenomenal job.

I cant remember a time that I did not enjoying myself & I have been going for years! This past week was my first time seeing a play in the Black Box theater, a smaller space. It was wonderful. I had no idea of what to expect & was not disappointed at all! Columbia is just blessed to have Thrustus & folks who dont go are missing out.~

Im all about supporting local talent. Support this one!
