Mary Poppins on Saturday, November 7th was excellent! The actor playing Bert was fabulous and the actress playing Mary Poppins was fabulous too! The kids Michael and Jane did a wonderful job! my only complaint is the seats. The new seats leave no legroom and are extremely uncomfortable on your back for 2 1/2 hours. I thought the renovation of the theater seats would be more comfortable and more roomy but theyre not. The seats are Very close together leaving no room to cross your legs or stretch.

Had a great experience. Rented the theater for an hour and it was worth every penny. Danny was very nice and helpful. Thank you for everything you all do.

Seeing shows with my family at Town Theatre is one of my favorite things to do.

These guys did a fantastic job. I was in town for work and wanted something different, and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s amazing to see members of a community come together and put on such an awesome show. Billy Mishop (Ms. Trunchbull) was fantastic! Nathan Jackson as Bruce, and Juliet Greg as Matilda were all amazing actors. Congratulations to you all!!

It is a small historical stage performance theater, but they put on great shows. And if you have kids that want to do a show they do a little one week long practice and play.

Wonderful local theater

Great venue to see great productions in Columbia.

Oldest continually running community theater in US. Located in an historical building..draws great talent from community and USC students. Some productions better than others; however I continue to attend year after year. Always a variety of performances through out the year. Celebrating 100 years.

We saw Hairspray on 5/26/2018. This was exceptional. The cast was amazing. The vocals were strong. Our new favorite is Lee Martin. We certainly hope we will be seeing/hearing a lot more from her and from all those in the cast!

We saw Mama Mia, we loved it. Full house, lively audience. Pure fun and delight!

Always love going to the theater. The staff are wonderful!

The instructors did a great job motivating the students, used critical thinking and imagination. Really enjoyed the show last night.

One of my favorite spots in all of Columbia! Wonderful variety of shows, always well cast. Convenient downtown location close to many restaurants - perfect for dinner and a show. They also offer fantastic opportunities for youth to get involved through youth productions, auditions, camps and classes. Very welcoming - great staff!

The quality of shows, the preservation of the historic theater, the atmosphere while attending shows is so delightful to enjoy! I attended shows here as a high school student, as a college student and continue to attend and enjoy shows in my retirement. Town Theatre is a Blessing to Columbia. Went to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame today and it was amazing! This was my first visit to the town theatre and the talent of the actors was outstanding! I was really blown away! Kudos to the staff, cast, and crew on a wonderful production!

Top notch community theater

I love this place! Its not Broadway, but its still art created by passionate volunteers who clearly love what they are doing.

We loved the play Matilda!

I sat in the back row and still had a clear view of the stage. Staff was friendly and helped accommodate us into a sold out show. We saw million dollar quartet. We were highly impressed by the talent of the actors and quality of the production we believed it to be a show that travels. We later learned that the talent was local!

My mother and I have had many enchanting evenings at Town Theatre. The theater is the oldest continuosly running theater in the US. This only adds to its charm. I have yet to see anything on that stage that was off color or offensive. It seems the plays are picked 0*

Great people, great local entertainment

Went to see My Fair Lady, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, I am larger than the seat capacity was designed for and the airplane style seating left me feeling cramped and uncomfortable. If youre a smaller lad or lady, check this place out as the entertainment is fantastic!

Tonight my Scott and I along with our close friends went to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame that was presented at the Town Theatre in Columbia. This was an awesome production and the cast was phenomenal. Jeremy Reasoner who played Quasimodo has an awesome voice and played the part exceptionally well. Looking for something to go and do, go check this out. Running though October 8th and well worth the money. All of the staff at the Town Theatre was exceptionally friendly, warm and inviting. They greet you at the door and make you feel like family . Thank you everyone at the Town Theatre for a fantastic night.

This was my second visit and again it did not disappoint.

I saw Les Miserables. It was wonderful. Superb singing and acting. You will be sorry you missed it. This is the last week.

Hunchback was great... Music was outstanding, such a upscale production!

I love musicals! I dont even take a date.

I have never enjoyed a performance at this theater. I am a big theater buff, I see all of the touring shows at the Kroger Center and at the Blumenthal performing arts center. These shows are of the same quality as bad high school theater. If you wanna see a quality show with local talent try Trustus Theater.
