Being outdoors gives us opportunity to focus on the wonderful creation of nature, we often take for granted. The rat race of survival and the pursuit of success often causes us to ignore the God given natural environment around us. This lockdown does cause us to slow down and absorb more experiences we otherwise bypass. Going to the park is a simple inexpensive valuable experience

Ive taken a date and Ive walked the Burnham Park with my goddaughter. .. Ive even gone for work events. This is a beautiful place and worth checking out. Dont plan to spend a full day unless you plan to enjoy a book while sitting in the outdoor garden. Otherwise, Id say its about 60 minutes to casually walk through the entire place.

A nice patch of nature along the Lake Shore Trail. There is a beautiful walking trail of about a quarter-mile long, flanked by flowers on both sides. When you are on the trail, it feels like you are far away from the bustle of the city. I have to thank the city of Chicago for doing such a wonderful job in creating this park.

A nice patch of nature along the Lake Shore Trail. The place had been restored to native vegetation. It is now visited by many birds and butterflies. There is a beautiful walking trail of about a quarter mile long, flanked by flowers on both sides. When you are on the trail, it feels like you are far away from the bustle of the city. The field museum was awesome!! I cant wait to go back!!! On a other note, it is not listed but there is basic admission for $22. It is a great deal and there is plenty to see just having the basic admission. The other great way to save is the city pass if you have 3 or more days to do everything. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes because there will be alot of walking :)
