A taste of whats to come at the permanent location opening June 19 at Taylor and Ada. Former public housing residents will be docents. Great first hand information.

Theyre still under construction, but there is a terribly moving photojournalistic gallery show about a family deported from Dearborn to a ranch in impoverished rural Mexico - along with their teenage children, who are all native US citizens, and didnt even speak Spanish! - as well as a few artifacts and informational displays about the museums subject, Public Housing in Chicago (and, to a lesser extent, beyond) . I am excited to see what they become when the full museum opens next year (2019).
