A very nice venue. All facilities are clean, the main room is well decorated, and it has raised levels at the middle and back. My only complaint is that it would be nice if the stage was higher so that shorter people can see on the main floor.

Ill start with the obvious, that The Fillmore is a beautiful venue. The VIP employees were very welcoming and very helpful in upgrading our seating. The bartender was very attentive and put our food order in quick. Btw, the fried pickles are amazing. All my dates and my drinks were made perfect every time. All around a great experience at a nice venue, and a courteous staff. 12/10 will definitely be back.

The Fillmore is a decent venue. Their logistics teams arent well balanced...i.e. full-body pat downs at the gates, large no standing areas on the floor, no keeping the lids for $5 bottles of water, $100+ for seats (after ticket price) etc... The shows I have seen there have been excellent, but the Fillmore is not my favorite venue.

The Fillmore venue is great. The main section is huge and its tiered. That way, you can see over the people in front of you if youre standing in the back.Parking was easy and the line to get in moved super fast.We ended up getting VIP passes, but for this particular venue I dont feel as though purchasing them is worth the extra money. There are 2 types of VIP tickets- 1 is also standing room only and the other has seats. Both of those are located ground floor to the left of the stage. For the extra money, youre not getting a better view or anything aside from private bathrooms. That feature is nice, but not $50 extra per person nice. Save the extra cash for merch, and get there early to stand in front of the stage for the best view in the house. We came here for Angels and airwaves- the show was awesome!

Terrible experience overall and one of the worst venues Ive seen to date. First off the sound quality is awful, where they fill the room so full you can hardly hear the band. Its so low you can talk to the person beside you with ease. Second they overall the tickets, what I mean is they fill the place to a level you cannot hardly walk in the venue. And last the line for the bathroom is absurd as you will see in my photos. Overall terrible experience and I would not recommend.

Amazing place. Great size for a smaller venue with lots of places to get drinks and plenty of space. Very good sound inside and the security to get inside was a little slow but efficient. I want aware of this beforehand, but I love how the farther back you go in the crowd the higher the floor becomes which makes viewing easy from any place considering everything is GA only besides the VIP areas. A tip as well: if youre a little shorter and worry about getting a good spot, if there is already a large amount of people up against the stage, try being one of the first to the second level of the floor and try to get up against the railing for the VIP area/mixing boards. You can still get a great view of all the action while being just a little farther back

I love this venue and the location. Its easy to find in the Charlotte area, and to be Charlotte is pretty difficult to drive through if you live out of town. Theres plenty of parking here and its a nice sized, yet intimate venue. If youve never been here, its kind of House of Blues-ish in size and general vibe (if youve ever been to a House of Blues), to give you an overall idea. They have a lot of great musicians who perform here. Id come here more often if I didnt live on the coast, which is a pretty far drive from there. I totally recommend this venue to see a concert.

Great smaller venue! Drinks were great, and service was really pleasant!Be advised, its standing room only and it gets PACKED. It was extremely challenging to get back to the middle during the show.VIP are the only ones allowed to have tables, but its worth it as you get your own bar service and private restrooms. We did Crash the Barricade, and while it was awesome to get in to stand near the stage the food served left much to be desired.

I had a great time at the event I attended!! Every thing was well organized... Security was out and about... The lighting was good... and the TVs they have placed throughout the venue are high quality ( so those of us in the back can see). I didnt use the restroom, but I was told by a friend that they are surprisingly clean. My only bit of criticism is this: the venue management team, tach team, audio/visual department, or whomever should make sure the equipment functions properly and/or ensures the artist(s) thats performing understand how to use it before a show begins...

This is a great venue and they have amazing artists performing on a regular basis. The restrooms are decently clean and there are plenty of stalls. I’ve never had to wait in line for the restroom. However, the price of food and drinks are high. There’s nowhere to sit unless you pay VIP. There is standing room only for GA tickets. It’s also hard to get to the restrooms when there’s the crowd. You have to go around too the back and most of the time, you can’t cut through the crowd that’s in front of the stage. There are two bars for GA tickets to the left of the entrance. The sound is loud and great but you can usually get away from the noise and people if you want by going to towards the left of the entrance near the second bar. This is where the red curtain is which is the area farthest from the stage.

My husband and I as well as other friends have been to the Fillmore in Charlotte probably 10 times in the last three years. All for alternative rock concerts. Small venue great for a more intimate setting with easy access to drinks. Good sized bathrooms help with lines.Security at the entrance is quick and easy (love that they wand and search everyone for safety). Security in the venue does a good job of keeping crazy people under control to help other people’s experience.Get there early for a place to stand because it’s very crowded for most shows. If you get stuck behind a pole, you’ll definitely have an obstructed view of the stage.

Review №38

A real hit and miss venue, decent sized place and the acts here are usually good and popular but the staff is kinda pushy and a little irritating unlike other venues like cats cradle or the blind tiger because the second the show is over they push everyone out. It feels very corporate which also sucks because its basically a live nation venue so say for example if a show is advertised at 25 dollars you get 11 in service fees(whatever that means) and now parking is TEN DOLLARS (it used to be free)which makes your show 46 dollars so plan on adding 20 extra dollars per ticket for your shows here, if you expect a nice intimate feeling show go to a different venue.

Never see a big artist here the tickets are overpriced for what you get. The stage is too low for the crowd on the floor. For smaller artists I’m sure it’s fine but there were way too many people in there for a well known artist. And the security guards I understand have to do their jobs but they were being ridiculous.

The facility was nice, and the rest rooms were clean. I was there for a concert. The staff was helpful and reasonably pleasant. The greatest comment I have is about the food that was sold at the concert that I went to. They had four chicken wings for $8 which is absolutely ridiculous. They end up charging $8 for just a can of beer and $5 for juice. To be honest this location makes the most off of those concessions. I would definitely eat before I went to a show

The Fillmore was great. They have a great setup although the pricing for getting a seat is a little ridiculous considering how many people are there. I mean they are looking to make a killing. You have to pay for the ticket, then the price for the seats per person, and then the food. I mean a bottle of water is $4.00 so I could imagine how food actually is. I guess that is the only area I have an issue. The place is always clean and no matter how big an event is the staff always has their plan and executes it well to get everyone in.

Ive been here for a few concerts && the crowds have always been chill/relaxed/happy place oriented. From less than standing room available to pretty small shows, Ive been impressed with the staffs professionalism. Please dont be mistaken, the security has been top flight && pretty out of the scene for the most part. You hardly see them interacting unless theyre heeding off something from beginning. Although the Fillmore is a great venue, I would not again chose to pay for the Crash the Barricade option. Its advertised as a buffet dinner in the venue and you get to enter 2 hours before the show. However the meal was not in the main venue, we were kept in a small side room and could not leave until early entry 1 hour before the show. The meal was pathetic. It was advertised as including vegetarian options but that meant only salad and baked beans for us. Otherwise only hamburgers and hot dogs, very lame. Also we were not allowed to enter the venue until after the early entry crowd. So it was definitely not worth it. If you want to enter early just skip the meal, have a good dinner elsewhere, choose the cheaper early entry option.

Most recently I was here for the Charlotte BOB awards party. It was a great location for that too.Unfortunately, since Avid Exchange took over the music favorite, you now have to pay for parking.
