We enjoyed shopping at Lowcountry Olive oil while visiting Charleston. We were able to put together a great assortment of goodies for a Christmas gift for a friend and brought home some treats for ourselves! Very helpful staff and shipping was a big plus!!

My sister in law uses a lot of olive oil while cooking. The lady there was very helpful in finding the right one for me.

Great locally sourced and crafted ingredients go I to these Olive oils and blends. We arrived near closing time but youll need more than 15 minutes to take it all in.

My husband and I found this great store while walking around downtown, and were so glad that we did! Laurie, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and took the time to tell us about all of the wonderful products in the store. We sampled many of the oils and vinegars with bread or ice cream. There are so many wonderful, unique flavors, and it was hard for us to narrow down our choices. With a wide array of great oils and balsamic vinegars (and other products), we will definitely be life-long customers, and were already looking forward to our next visit. Wonderful place and the staff is truly amazing and helpful!! They only had one bottle of what I wanted to buy but they were quickly able to fix up the other two I needed!! I cant wait to go back and try the other flavors!!

Really nice shop to buy oil

My wife and I happened upon this store as we were wandering through downtown and thought we would go in to take a look. Laurie, the owner, was working that morning and greeted us with a smile. She explained the products in the store and invited us to try the various flavors with the bread samples. There are suggestions on the back label of each bottle for what you can put them on. Some of them suggested ice cream and when I mentioned that she even offered to let us give that a sample try. We ended up getting one bottle of oil and one of vinegar that day and plan on building up a collection of our favorites. There are also other fun treats available in the store. The smoked honey was good and Im hoping to be able to try the pivoted okra and peaches the next time Im there. If you consider yourself to be even a little bit of a foodie you should make time to stop in for a look around.

Were so fortunate to have in this city a store with such a knowledgeable staff that can provide remarkable recommendations for such tremendous productds and free sampling so that you know exactly what youre getting. Lowcountry Olive Oil is a real treat in many ways. The Balsamic Vinegar rivals bottles I have purchased in the past for over $50 but come in at an affordable price under $20. The varieties of flavors combined with a knowledgeable staff can bring amazing pairings to your table. I strongly recommend you stopping in for a taste!

Lots of variety of Olive oil, Balsamic vinegars. I wanted to buy them all, but scaled it back to Garlic olive oil and Smoked olive oil, which is buttery, vegan and bacon flavored. Bacon! when I got back home I went on their website and placed an order for smoked black pepper, Geechie Boy white grits, and a garlic and Holy smoke olive oil to give to my son as a birthday gift in October. Im sure he will be as pleased as I am with the oils and black pepper.

Fantastic 18 year old balsamic, at a most reasonable price. Quick on-line service from some really nice folks. (And their products make great gifts!) Really good stuff!

This place has excellent products and excellent customer service. All of the vinegars and olive oils are gluten free so those with Celiac disease can use them. My favorites so far are the holy smokes and the lowcountry herbs. They have fast shipping as well.

Id definitely have to give this place a 5 star review. For being in downtown Charleston its what you would spend anywhere else so no upcharging for price because they can. Meet the owner and she was very nice. For being a younger person with a friend and we dreased like we should be laying around the house we were treat with respect and didnt feel like we shouldnt be in here. I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family and will be back to get more olive oil.

First tasted their oils at the Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival. Unique oils that add flavor to any dish. Visited them last year at the Charleston Food and Wine Festival and they had some new items which we tried and purchased. Reasonable prices and great service.

Excellent and consistent quality, reasonable prices. The store has a layout that makes it easy to sample the various oils and vinegars. My favorites are Garlic and the Rosemary Garlic Olive Oils, I use this stuff in all sorts of stuff and it is absolutely wonderful. Strong aromatic smells and quality taste. Highly recommend if you love cooking or even a good gourmet oil for dipping!

Fun to browse and try all the different flavors. Our favorite is the classic 18 yr balsamic with Chipotle Olive oil. Staff are knowledgeable and will help you find just the right fit for you. They also offer shipping.

Fabulous oils and vinegars and personalized excellent service. The 18 year traditional balsamic is spectacular- rivals any made in Italy- thick viscous texture, rich full taste with no added sugar.

Great experience here! Youre able to go around and try all of the different olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Staff was extremely helpful. Youre definitely paying extra but the items are unique and make nice gifts. I wish the rewards program was based off how many bottles you buy, and not how many times you come into the store.

We visited here August 2017 while on vacation. The owner helped us & was very friendly. He explained many features & useful ways to use the oils & balsamics. We were allowed to sample all the flavors we wanted in order to decide which to buy. The owner suggested many flavor pairings; which helped to narrow our choices. They do offer a few other items as well. If youve never been to an oil & vinegar shop I recommend you try one. Youll be amazed at how much better a quality oil & balsamic tastes versus the grocery store junk. I would recommend others to visit Lowcountry.

What a deliciously delightful experience! Lowcountry Olive Oil is an exceptional place where you can taste test so many wonderfully flavored olive oils and vinegars. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Although I visited the Summerville location, I would imagine the downtown one has the same terrific products and the same great service. I love the herb blend olive oil, a perfect mix of seasonings, whether you are using it to dip bread into, as a marinade, or as a cooking oil for your chicken or pork. Try the Myer Lemon oil and the white vinegar for a perfect dressing for a seafood salad!

Delicious and abundant choices of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrettes. I loved so many it was difficult to narrow down which one was my favorite each one was better than the last. Mmmmm and the beer bread was so moist and flavorful. The woman working there was so patient and helpful with me and my undecisiveness. Will definitely be ordering more online back home in Cali.

Stopped in today, and got to taste some of the olive oil and 18 year aged balsamic vinegar. Most of their olive oil and all of their balsamic vinegar comes from Italy. Their balsamic vinegar was the best I have ever had! Also the owner Jason is great to work with. I would suggest this place to anyone.

This place is fantastic! You can sample as much balsamic vinegar and olive oil as you want! They dont rush you at all. And they offer very reasonable shipping so the more bottles you buy the cheaper it is to ship.

A terrific variety of flavored Lowcountry Olive Oils & Balsamic Vinegars. You can taste test your way around the room as you take in artwork from a local artist that is also for sale. A few other locally made products such as soaps and tea are available as well.I was very happy that I stopped in to do some Christmas shopping and I cant wait to go back.
