Beautiful church. Attended a Wedding recently. Loved the Service and the Female Minister

Beautiful music, beautiful sanctuary, and beautiful people. Very welcoming to us as visitors. The pastors message was at once personal, universal, and scripturally based.

Bethel is a historic Methodist Church in the heart of Charleston, SC. We have a new minister, Rev. Susan Leonard who has brought a wonderful message of Christianity to our congregation. Her sermon every Sunday is inspirational and we welcomed several new members today. Please come join us this holiday season.

Phenomenal history and beautiful church.

Beautiful church, well kept. Friendly people, excellent pastor. Enjoyed the Christmas program using children of all ages.

Incredibly welcoming place to worship for visitors or locals.

DO NOT use this church for your wedding. Mollie (the church’s apparent wedding director) was insanely rude. She wouldn’t even wait for the grandmother and started the ceremony without her!! She talked rudely with the bride’s actual wedding coordinator, rude to the bride’s photographers. I can’t imagine what else happened!

A member of this particular United Methodist Church since 2005, I would not ever dream of not attending here. Many fine, dedicated, religious, and yes some funny folks make up the caring people of this congregation. Mission centric whether food, building housing, helping college students, international missions and so very much more!
