The building, the relics and most items that have been cured by the volunteers showed a historical journey from the mid 1800 to present. The items in the exhibits are representations of everyday life in Centralia IL, and some adjacent communities. we spent two hours during our visit, it was well worth the time. Awesome collection of history from the area. If youre interested in Centralia and local history and want to see some of it in person then this is the place to go! The museum guide was amazing with our cub scouts as well!!! Theres so much in there I feel like I missed some very interesting things and cant wait to check it out again some time.

Fascinating historical articles of this area. Well worth seeing. Also active ham radio station as well as a lot of old equipment to see.

This place is the coolest. There’s so much stuff in there that you could find new things every time you go. It’s not a regular boring museum. There’s 3 stories of so much cool stuff. And the workers there are the sweetest people in the world.

An absolutely incredible place to discover how great our city was and can be again. So many great memories of my childhood reside here.
