Campsite 55 has a beautiful view, and cool spots to just sit and chill.

Beautiful camping spot. Tons of room and a great spot right in the water. It was super private, definitely didn’t feel like our neighbors were right on top of us. The beach was perfect for cooking off. Bathhouse was clean and never crowded. Loved it here and would def come back again! Mae sure to bring your tube with you!

I would give this place 5 stars but the granddaughter of the lady that runs the park is a rude little teenager who acts like she can do whatever she wants. She has a bad attitude and acts like shes doing you a favor by you staying at the park. Otherwise its a beautiful park

IM GIVEN THEM A 3 CAUSE WE COME HERE ALL THE TIME AND THIS YEAR THEY HAVE NEW PEOPLE WORKING AND ARE RUDE ON TOP OF THAT THEY WANT ALLOW COOLERS ON THE BEACH YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THEM IN YOUR CAR WHICH IS RIDICULOUS

Gatewood Park is one of the most beautiful, and peaceful places we have had the pleasure of staying in.Chris Patterson, the Park Manager, is awesome. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you want.Facilities onsite (bath house) are clean, and prices to camp are good.I can not say enough good about this Park.

A good place for camping, very Quiet, and familiar, bathroom clean

Gets very crowded on weekends, however is a very nice beach for family outings. Is quite small however.
