A great value with the 50 mile club cards. Course in good not great shape. East course good if your game needs a tune up. West Course is no joke. My favorite hot dog in Carson, butterflied on the grill...and friendly service from all.

Nice course, challenging at times with the brush lining the sides of the fairways. Still plenty of room for us hackers to find those good shots. So close to getting my first Eagle on one of the par 4s, I did make the Birdie putt.

Its definitely a cool little golf courae not to packed. I gotta say the one big thing that sets this place apart is the bartender I know it sounds crazy but Carissa is so cool and welcoming it feels like home in there when shes working all my buddies feel the same way. Thanks for the hospitality...

The only positive is the price. They water with effluent reclaimed waste water. There are pools of effluent everywhere and the sand traps are mostly full of it also. The smell is unbearable at times. If you hit your ball in one you dont want it back.My wife is very new to the game so we requested the last tee time so we would not be rushed. We still had multiple groups pushing and rushing us (some of them very rude) and we had NO response from the pro shop or manager.Totally unprofessional and no pride in the property or the service.Go elsewhere.

To Jason Davenport: you are WAY wrong about Eagle Valley... What you and your novice wife were asking for (the drink-cart taking phone-in orders and turning itself around just to sell you water and snacks; those cart-girls have been doing the best they can; and lately, because of COVID, there is only one drink cart covering 36 holes, mind you) is not par for a public golf course, even during normal times... There is no rule against bringing your own water and snacks at EV; of course, you may not bring your own alcohol (but, yes you can; they dont pat you down for hip-flasks in the pro shop, are you kidding?)... If you found yourself thirsty and munchy after a few holes, that is YOUR fault, not the club-house staffs; you had every opportunity to get what you needed before you hopped in the cart, so dont try to blame your poor planning on the clubhouse bartenders.

Had a great golfing day on the East course. Very open fairways, very little water, but I found a few bunkers. I like that the golf carts have their own ball and club cleaners, but you do need to ask them to add water before you go out. Wish the clubhouse had been open to have a drink with my girlfriends afterwards although eventually it will be.

Beautiful golf course but it is overshadowed by horrible service. Ive been golfing at Duncan courses for over a year and had nothing but positive experiences. I usually play at Wolf Run but figured Id try Eagle Valley as its run by the same company, boy was that a mistake. The bar & grill is full of unhelpful and disrespectful individuals. My family and I played the West course which is a good distance from the clubhouse. On hole 11, we called the bar & grill. We asked if they delivered, to which the girl responded in a rude condescending toneno we dont do that here, you can drive over here if you want anything. We were a good 20 mins from the clubhouse at this point. So we asked if the snack truck would be coming around as we hadnt seen it in 2+ hrs. My inquiry was once again met with a rude maybe shes on lunch, I dont know. I asked if she would call the snack cart and got a we dont do that, you will have to wait. We didnt see the snack cart for the rest of our round. It was 100 degrees out and all we wanted was to buy some water and snacks and instead of refreshments, we got attitude. I will not be returning to Eagle Valley as it seems the high Duncan standards dont exist here.

Sand pits full of sewer water. Stinky sewer smells throughout. Clubhouse didnt have maps or friendly staff. Last tee time, wasnt actually last tee time with multiple people coming up behind us, some rude people rushing us. Workers seemed to just be playing on golf carts and rounds of golf with buddies the entire time.

We just played the East Course in early Aug 2018. Got a great deal on Golf Now. This desert links-style course was outstanding for the money. Super-emerald, greens in terrific shape, wide-open off the tee & not too busy, with super-friendly staff. I imagine it plays easy for experienced players when the wind isnt blowing, but it certainly was when we played. A fun challenge & I cant wait to play it again. Nearby Empire Ranch was also excellent & a similar kind of layout.

The West course is a nice layout but we were there on a Monday morning and got behind a procession of groups of five-somes and more. Gave up on playing the back 9 and just repeated the front (though we had to skip a hole due to another slow group). Also, $45 seemed like a lot to play this course.

Great beginner course. Wide fairways with shared rough is great for beginner golfers. The carts are in great shape, and the course is well kept. My only complaint is that the tee times were a bit pricey this late in the season. (just before October) Wind is up, and weather is unpredictable. Cmon guys lets get started on the fall prices!

Dr
Review №71

Best greens in area as far has softness and true bent grass (not a hybrid). Greens roll perfect and ball takes divot out of soft greens. Layout is difficult and not good for company outings or family tournaments. Balls missing the second cut of fairway are usually no only unplayable but un-findable. Nice course for the 0-15 handicap player that can hit fairways and greens with some regularity. Not for duffers. Duffers go to Empire Ranch.
