It has been my 8th time at the Hindu temple and I first went their when I was 10 years old and even that place is beautiful and even on the outside of the place with the large statue elephants and that love learning about cool things that are at the temple beaufuil temple .

The door is open to all and no one will convert you.Visit & enjoy the sheer beauty of glimpse of Hinduism (religion for humankind). Ask questions about Hinduism (or the science behind the customs/rituals, etc) since theres a whole lot of misconceptions about it from western world.

I want to say nice things about the hindu temple, the only nice thing I can say is its a beautiful building. I asked a woman in the parking lot if they welcome non Hindus to come and learn. She yelled at me saying this is a place of worship!! DuhhhhAlso I wanted to pay for a prayer, which they offer, and the person responsible for that did not want to even talk to me. So I left. Beautiful place for Hindus only, I guess

Beautiful temple! I really love visiting this temple. There are very many dieties that you can worship here. The temple even has Navagraga Murthy which youd be hard put to see in most of the temples here in the US.

Excellent ambience with good staff. Food quality is great too. Lots of events scheduled here per hindu calender. Peace of mind in off peak hrs.

I have been coming to this Temple ever since I was a little kid. This is a great, family friendly place of worship. They have a wonderful hall downstairs that can be rented out for any event. If you havent been here I would recommend coming and enjoying a free meal on Sundays during lunch time. The Temple is always looking for volunteers, but fair warning be careful you dont get pulled into the unnecessarily dramatic politics.

We love going to Hindu Temple. The idols are beautiful and well-maintained. All the priests are very knowledgeable and nice. Great celebrations on special occasions.

The hindu temple of canton is one of the main temples in the city for both Canton as well as Ann Arbor area. There is big Parking area outside the temple. The temple is beautiful and have deities to worship for people belonging to different regions of India.

This temple is really big and beautiful! The halls and rooms are perfect. It is well kept and parking is everywhere. There is a handicap ramp on the left side of the doors. There are also 2 elevator to use at your needs. Beautiful entrance to it.

Spiritual Cultural, good silent place for peace and devotion

The Hindu Temple of Canton is a great asset to the community: I will mention only one item for now- They bring the Medical Doctors & specialists, from Beaumont Hospital to provide Medical assessments to the any citizen- who doesnt have Medical Insurance to get their blood work done & sit down with specialists for their Heart, joints, Optical, Dental, hearing concerns - to discuss their next steps. This is done FREE of charge to the patients & The Hindu Temple has been doing it for the last 10-15 years. I am a volunteer to the temple & I am glad to be a part of this great organization. I am also happy to write this review for them.

The temple is beautiful but I felt sad and disconnected when the main priests asked parents to take the kids out, before Abhishekum, as kids were making some noise. The main priest had a bluetooth connected loud speaker, yet he felt disturbed by beautiful squeaks of children.In India, no matter, how noisy the surroundings are, priests are able to perform all rituals. It shows their level of concentration and dedication to worship. They do not even use hi-tech and yet they have presence in the worship.

Such a nice temple, but the main hall gets reduced to a community hall with people socializing. One cannot concentrate and pray. Even priests join the conversations. Recommendation- maintain decorum in prayer hall for congregation to concentrate and pray.

Temple is nice and beautiful. Love the size of the banquet hall and the stage. The lights and music system need to be updated or at least someone needs to know how to run it.
