I like freedom park very much. It has multiple different recreational areas and a 9 hole disc golf course, of which I have enjoyed for over 8 years. Just be aware that it can and does get very crowded. Be sure to take steps to safely social distance.

A beautiful and impressive park. I was visiting from Ohio and went there to play disc golf. I didnt see everything, but I saw soccer fields, play grounds, basketball courts, picnic spots, and an enclosed pickle ball area with at least six courts. The disc course only had nine holes, but it was very fun. The holes were short but challenging. Nice big concrete tee pads. We met some Freedom Freaks who were 420 friendly. This Park has poor drainage, so it stays wet a long time. Take your bug spray.

Good disc golf course, but very muddy in spring. Good playscape, GREAT pickleball courts. Well maintained soccer fields and sand volleyball court.

Its got an amazing, clean Disc Golf Course which is well maintained almost all the time.

Great little nine hole disc golf course. Never crowded. Tends to flood in the spring, especially #2 but once dry it’s moderately challenging with trees in play on every hole.All the signage has been replaced and all tees are concrete and generally well maintained. Picnic tables at some tees.The only thing missing is a public bathroom.

This park has gone through a lot of renovations and updates in the last few years. The Park has something for everyone.Overall, there is 1 new basketball court, a Frisbee golf course, a small but new playtots area, a small soccer practice field and a covered shed with benches. The old tennis courts have been converted to Pickleball and are quite popular with recreational players.The two sand volleyball courts are great shape but the positioning of the courts makes it near impossible to play on one side of the courts in the afternoon summer sun.Park is on the corner of Palmer and Sheldon roads which can get a little busy and noisy at times but are far away from main park areas to not pose any safety concerns.

Its a quiet place to think at certain times and great for kids to play, shoot hoops

Super diverse... Clean and peaceful

Great park with unique activities such as pickle ball, horse shoes, beach volleyball and disc golf. Personally I went there for disc golf. They have a nice 9 hole course with all par 3 holes. The layout is nice and very easy to follow. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star is the drainage is very bad and renders the course useless for at least a week after a good storm.

Nice quiet park, considering its surroundings. We enjoyed the disc golf course and lack of traffic. Definitely going back.

We had a great time at Freedom Park. We barbecued for the children in our ministry.

Would be five stars is there was a water fountain, clean and smooth basketball court, very nice volley ball court also.

This is a great un-busy park.....most people go to the park behind the library so if you have smaller kids this is a perfect place to bring them because it isnt very busy!!! They have a larger sand area around the jungle gym...horseshoe pits...basketball courts...a pavilion....and a 9 hole disc gold course!!! It isnt the nicest park in Canton but its a great place for fresh air!!!!

Excellent family park! They have a nice childrens playground, as well as a volleyball ground, a pickle ball court, soccer fields, a horse shoe throw, and a disc golf course.

So simple. A nice couple stops and a gym if you play pokemon go. The 9-hole disc golf course is fantastic. A great course for just starting out. Its an easy layout, no holes over 350 feet, and open and woodsy shots. Also, a great warmup before going to lakeshore, waterworks, rolling hills, or cass benton.

Due to the consistent rains, the paved trail is flooded in parts. Grass was wet and marshy as well making it difficult to walk around flood puddles.

The disc golf course is incredibly flooded in the spring months, I wouldnt recommend playing there unless theres a drought

Great size park with Disc Golf to play, Tennant basketball courts. Plus good decent playground equipment.

Really cool 9 hole course. Holes are mostly shorter but there is a variety of shot types and line possibilities for both leftys and rightys. Hole 4 is a wicked hard right through a tunnel, or a hyzer-route with a very short and crooked run-up. Overall, very fun course. More signs or at least just distance signs at least would be nice though.
