Excellent Park!! New, clean. Lots of room to run for kids. Great play equipment for bigger and smaller kids. Great place to ride the bikes also.

This park has some great amenities, trails sports fields, kids playground, the skate park. The public restrooms are always decent and the place is generally well-taken care of. I like that they have monuments to the veterans. It allows me to teach kids about public service and military, and explain that we live in peace because some people chose to guard it and even go to war for us to protect it. That is the best part that makes this park unique.the only down side is that the park is fairly new and it has tons of open places in the middle and not enough mature trees that can make shade. It makes the park feel like a brand new subdivision where everything was mowed down and leveled. That takes away from the character in my opinion.

Great big public park! Walking / jogging paved trail, public fields, grass and turf, tennis courts, awesome play ground for kids, even a nice skate park, and lots of Cherokee County events including Christmas lights in December!

I love how open this park is! There is so much to do here and I love how they honor every branch of our military!

Very clean and accomodating, huge sport fields, very large and nice playground with cool new equiptment, skate park, nature trail a beautiful memorial and even a fishing pond. Something for everyone.

Its a nice sized park that had a firefighter event, has Christmas lights during the winter, a big playground, hiking and biking trails, and a skate park!

Very nice walkway around the park. Clean, lots of doggie clean up stations, lots of parking and things to do.

This place is great. It has playing fields, a 1.33 mile walking path, playground, catch-and-release fishing pond, tennis and pickle ball courts and a fully legit skate park. Cherokee County nailed it with this place!

Nice field. Extra wide, which is great for rugby. But if youre coming from far away, be prepared for a funky smell. Im not sure what it is, but it sure is potent. That said after about an hour I was used to it at it was mostly forgotten. The turf is the short cropped variety, so dont wear long cleats or you will slide. The net behind the goal posts is far too low and youll probably be chasing conversion kicks a good way. It has good lighting for night time games. The stands were smallish, but very sturdy and only slight elevated from the field. But because the field is so wide, if youre not using it all you might feel like youre far away from the action. Overall pretty good except for the smell.

Love the playgrounds, soccer fields and walking track. Theres something for the whole family.

Every bathroom at the park is disgusting, someone should be on hand during the busy weekends to keep the restrooms clean. No soap to wash hands, how are we supposed to fight the Corona virus without the proper tools. How do we keep these kids safe.

It was an awesome experience today! The Woodstock Wolverines 4th Grade Football Team WON their Championship Game 24/8!!! And they started to put up the Christmas lights that we will be back to see!

This has a great walk around 1.25 miles on a tar pathway and a lot of picnicking spots a skateboard bowls...pickle ball courts.Lots of parking

For me, i visited this park for walking. Its not great. The path is in the direct sun 95% of the time. People sit in the path for watching football. And its just a very boring park in my opinion.

I am new to town and looking to find awesome parks that have plenty to do, and you know what?!? I found it here, at the Cherokee Veterans Park!They have an amazing skatepark (dont forget your helmets!), Tennis/pickleball courts and a Ninja-Warrior-meets-fun-kid-park!We had a blast today, and will look forward to enjoying many moments here in our new favorite park/playground!

This skate park is clean and has something for all levels along with a path for parents to walk and playground for kids to play. We just need more skate parks in Cherokee County. My son always has a blast and meets other skaters who are friendly and helpful with each other to build their skills. He can spend hours here and always conquers a new fear or challenge.

They have Christmas light show that is well worth the time to drive through more than once. Why we pay extra for the season pass. Just wish more drivers that drive through would drive with their parking lights on so they can be seen

Took part in the fall festival today.The overall experience was well done.The crowd was full but the park is large enough to ensure everyone isnt running over each other.

This park is amazing space for all to walk ana skate park next door and 3 types of play areas for the kids.

Beautiful park but sadly the skatepark is way too small for the growing area of Cherokee county and another con is that the skatepark states thats its open until 11pm but there are not even lights around the skatepark. For an example these are photos of a week day afternoon and I cant even imagine how the weekend afternoons are. Im glad Cherokee county finally built a skatepark but we really need another one especially in the sequoyah high school district because its honestly crazy the amount of homes that are being built in Holly Springs but on the other side we dont even have a skatepark to support all the children that will be living there... Hopefully in the future Holly Springs will receive a large skatepark.

Great playground and great walking trail/track. Also has nice fields to run around on too! Bathrooms need soap by the playground so take your own! Everything else is nice!

The skate park is very nice and close to home, but there are no lights meaning I usually cant make it before dark after I get off work.

We went for the holiday lights and thoroughly enjoyed what they had done! Can’t wait to go back in the daytime to see what all the park has to offer!

Very clean and well maintained! Someone left graffiti in one of the bowls, and the park is actively fixing the problem.

I primarily run and bring my kids to the playground here. The playground is kept pretty clean and there is enough variety in the structures to keep the kids entertained for a while. The track is 1.33 mile/lap with some relatively challenging elevation change. Occasionally, Ill come across some dog poop on the track which is obnoxious because there are dog waste disposal points where I believe bags are provided.There is a skate park that gets plenty of use and fields for soccer football that seem to serve the community pretty well. Tennis courts also get a fair amount of traffic.

Used the outdoor playground and pavilion for a 1 year olds birthday party. It went great. Older kids got to play outside in the field and various playgrounds and the little kids got to play in the grass.

Nice park with plenty of fields and a skate park. Wide-open, but not much shade from the sun. 1.5 mi. multi-use paved path has some hills for an extra workout. Restrooms available, though often closed in the winter.

The Skatepark is awesome! Well built, well paved, everyone is welcome, and easy to skate!

So much awesome play equipment. Tons of open space for the kids to run around but unfortunately almost zero shade. Some coverings over a picnic area in the center but thats it. As long as its a cloudy day I will be back for sure!!

My family and I love this park. Its big and the playground has a lot of fun obstacles. Walking path, fields and a skateboard bowl.

It was excellent! Great walking path that takes you around the park. The sports fields are amazing! Very good investment for the residents and a memorial for the veterans.

Beautiful space with a fantastic playground (thats recently been expanded), lots of paths to ride bikes etc and trails to walk. Theres a skate park too. The bathrooms are conveniently located, theyre basic but pretty clean. Theres tons of parking available.

Great, interactive, well lit place to walk, run or play tennis. Amazing playground and skate park... also, plenty of fields to play soccer, football or lacrosse.

Neat park with some niffty Ninja Warrior-esque equipment for older kids. Great swings and play gyms for smaller kids as well. Also plenty of tables and covered areas as well. Overall park is clean and well maintained.

The place had a nice playground and fields, but there was very little to no shade.

I go for the walking trail. I love the fact it is not flat and round. The trail has great elevation change and 3 loops is 4 miles. Great workout. Clean, Safe w great playground for the little ones.

This is a beautiful park but the skatepark has ZERO shade. Athletes are under the direct sun and the only cool shade you can find is the shadow from the bathroom building. But if its the middle of the day you dont get that either. I would consider installing shaded areas like Swift-Cantrell Park in Kennesaw or people will avoid the park from 11-4 during the summer.

Always stuff to do. Safe environment, plenty of parking and their Christmas lights are the best!
