Went to the dog park for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. We were the only ones there. Park looked worn down. Fences need repair. The grass was tall and needed cutting. And of course there were a couple of big dog piles someone was kind enough to leave behind. It is a nice location but definitely needs some TLC.
I went there for a jog where I grew up as a child. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit. There was a blue newer foreign model modified sports car that slow rolled me with four essays in it with the windows down as I was jogging. I thought I was about to be dealt with. Keep your head on a swivel if you decide to walk your dog there. Also, you might want to make sure you arent wearing the wrong colors if you decide to go for a jog. I had a white Tshirt on and I have a good feeling white in not the right color to wear there. Anyone out here know what the safe colors are to wear in the old cotton mill village in North Canton if one decides to go for another jog.
Always very well kept; they replace the mulch in play areas often. Clean running water available for pups. Plenty of walking trails and woods connected for more adventurous days.
Separated spaces for small dogs and large dogs. Water available and easy parking. Right off the main road and easy to find. Shade and grass too which are both very important to me this time of year.
Needs to be mowed. Small non poisonous snake bit my dog on the paw yesterday.
Great location for a quick run around for the fur babies.
Park is really pathetic. This is my 5th time here and I’ve only seen other dogs or people 1 other time!! Nobody fills the water tank, no balls or toys,,, but what really gets me are all the holes in the fence. There a good twenty feet of fence that your dog could just cruise right under. This park really needs help.
The park is purely maintained and almost all of the surrounding homes have pitbulls on chains or in cages that bark relentlessly.
Not very well done. Parking isnt marked, so not sure were to park! Wasnt even sure it was a doggie park!
Great place to have our dog run about and socialize. Two sections, one for larger dogs and another for smaller, per usual. There is a large puddle near the front, so be careful if your puppers like mud puddles. As for parking, just keep driving. You will see it on the left.
No water in barrels. No toys absolute trash. No toys no nothing and grass nearly as tLl as my dog
Great place to let your dog get out off a leash. To open up full running throttle. Its hard to be able to let your dogs even run when you live in an apartment.
Pretty plain, but adequate and nicely maintained-there also were some balls strewn around the fenced in areas if you didnt bring your own. Parking is a graveled lot a little bit down from the entrance and there are two handicapped spots near the gates. Water is available for the dogs and there are waste receptacles and poop bags, its a nice place to let your pup off the leash and run around safely-and let them engage with other dogs if they are present.
Pretty good park. The large dog area get a mud pit when it rains.
Cherokee County prohibits dogs - even on-leash - in all of their county parks. This dog park is the only place in the whole county where dogs can run free. Sadly, it is a small park (my backyard is just a bit smaller) and the people who go there dont get the concept of cleaning up after their dogs. There are piles of excrement all over the place left by humans who refuse to be courteous and responsible. It is worth the drive out of the county to go to one of the many parks available in Forsyth county
In a very sketchy neighborhood. But the park itself is well maintained and clean.
Due to irregularity of park-goers youll likely be playing solo. Decent separate areas divided by size. BYOW to be safe as provided water is inconsistent. Yes, it can get flooded because its situated next to a creek, so mud is possible (but youre outside playing with a dog, so thats normal). Im just thankful for a fenced area to play fetch.
One of the lesser of the dog parks in Cherokee County.
Excellent place my love it. Needs a few fence spots worked on and grass meowed. I would do it. I dont have the equipment or a place to store it at.
Just a 2 section gated square...... The issue is the parking is 50 yards away with a tree fence line in the way. No its not hed sent me home alone ⁴
We enjoy taking our dogs but theres always big dogs on the small side so it ruins us going
Nice atmosphere
Had the potential to be a nice dog park. However, its in a sketchy looking neighborhood and it looks like no one has been there in 300 years. If you bring Fido here, hell be playing alone.
I like that it has shade. The water was empty.
First time here and Im glad I came! Older homes doesnt mean its sketchy. Very clean already but I did some clean up myself and threw away some bags and torn up toys. Cant wait to come again.
Its always muddy and in the warmer months you get eaten alive by the mosquitoes.
Nice park has nice grass
Not much for parking. Other than that, its a decent dog park.
Good Place To Take Your Dog To Play
Just a big cage located on a very sad part of town... and the geounds are a soggy bog. Water drainiage stinks. Plus you have to park down the street and then walk on the rd to get to the park.
The old standby
Small, no other dogs. Water supply was questionable.
Great park
Dog friendly atmosphere.
This is just a fenced yard and never anyone here.
Its a bit small but very clean.
Very small..... Sketchy neighborhood
