Great get away from the city life in the city. Lots of scenic views and playground for the kiddos
Great area to take a walk, also if you skate or do agressive/street online they have a skate park behind the education building. I personally went for a walk and take photos since I am a photographer and trying to add more prints to my online store. Was a very successful walk.
This place is one of my favorite places in Boston to visit at night and have a peaceful time near the water without leaving the city. The place is amazing if you want to spend time with your significant other and want to cuddle and sit on the bench and gaze at the city lights, the water, and the famous Zaikem bridge. This location is also stunning for night time photography. Just a heads up tho, parking is hard to find around the area and you may need to go around the block a few times before finding a spot
Nice park across the street from the Museum of Science . We have active kids so the play ground and sprinklers allowed the kids to burn off some energy around lunch time. Picnic tables were well cared for. The park is run by DCR. Only down side no rest rooms on site so go at the museum before going over.
Place has city Wildlife and culture. Worth going to and spending time walking around. Like a mini seaport in Cambridge
Delightful open space with bike paths, good scenery, even some interesting bird life. Ive never had any issue with the park being too crowded. Inly complaint is that it can be a little noisy, especially with a nearby drawbridge siren
Coming along nicely, EF education has planted grass and cleared the grounds
Beautiful park. Lots of places to take picture. Picnic. Skater park etc...
This is a very nice park, even hidden away under the highway. The play structures are diverse and plentiful. The lawn area is lovely, as is the proximity to the water. The walking paths are well-maintained and wide, allowing plenty of room for runners and walkers.
Its so great how the area has developed and evolved over time. This is a wonderful park to come for a wall because it has a tremendous view of the city and it has a kiddy playground and a skate park for the active guys/gals. Very beautiful place and I highly recommend coming here for a peace of mind.
This is one if my favorite parks in the city to visit at night. During the day its busy, at night its mostly empty and has beautiful views. Its beautifully maintained and on hot nights it usually offers a cool breeze and relaxing atmosphere. You can fish, walk around and even visit a piece of the Berlin wall.
The beautiful place for kids and adults
This is a terrific example of successful urban planning. This park is tricky to find (across the street from the Museum of Science) but worth it! Three different kinds of playgrounds for children of all ages plus a terrific splash park ....on the waterway used by the Duck Boats....next to a great Skate Park....lots of grassy space for lounging. This park offers great views of the nearby Zakim Bridge and the Boston skyline. On street metered parking is limited but worth the wait. Bring a picnic lunch - tables available as well! Walking and biking trails as well! Dont miss this one.
Duck Tour at Charles River. City tour by semi water-road tourist vehicle. Very cool tour. which travels through the downtown area of Boston city. Its history goes back to the 17 th century. Old big buildings. Active involvement in the American freedom war. Majestic appearance and beauty in the downtown is unchallengeable.
Very nice park to go to when enjoying Boston. Lots of shade and a great place too meet up with friends or host an event.
Parking is a.challenge but beautiful.views!
This park is easily our favorite park in Boston. Great playground for all ages. Open fields to have a catch or just run around. Plenty of shady trees to rest under. Duckboats going in and out of the river. Drawbridge going up and down. Walkable to the Charles river Dam and locks for more fascination. Skate park for watching or enjoying. Just so much to do!
Its nice there. They maintain the grass. The air quality is good. The trees are wonderful. The river adds to it. Nice to walk or sit there.
This place is so beautiful around 4:30 till the sunset fresh air,
A great place to take a stroll, relax and have a cup of tea or coffee.
Beautiful scenic place
Great grass
Quite and calm.
My kids (3 y. old) love that park. There can play in playground and splash, see plains, helicopters, Amtrak, purple and green trains, duckboats, . Ride a bike, scooters, etc.I like so much Massachusetts, the drivers greet to my kids and they are very happy.
Beautiful spot!
They did a great job... I wish they fix the lights ....it was nice when the colored lights were on and working....
Great scenery.
Love this place! Sprinklers are fun for kids, a bit too strong for babies but theres a fountain in the playground that is suitable for the younger ones
Best park in Massachusetts, my favorite is the bridge above the train tracks.
Beautiful park, you can relax and play with your kids at playground. The design of the park is awesome with small bridges. I have seen many people doing canoe and kayak into the creeks. You can take quite good photos of the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge. There are only two things that I dont like here. There is no place to buy something to eat or drink and the second is that the terrain of playground is needed some repairs, so be cautious with your kids.
It was nice, I wish they had a bathroom near by at least a potter potty, I like the different parks and benches
Terrific playground with a wide variety of equipment, climbing, splash pad. Fun to watch the duck tours put in and come out. Lovely walks. Well maintained. Would be nice to have more lunch and bathroom options nearby.
Great park. Plenty to do for kids. Parking is tough. Public transit is probably the best option.
Love this area. Has a park for young children, open areas of grass to run or play, and a full skate park ! Not to mention, just a good place to chill on a bench .
Love city parks. Love the skatepark. Very open yet very close to the hustle and bustle.
Such a nice place to be outside and enjoy nature its easy to forget you are in the city...at least for a few minutes
As a photographer, this is one of my favorite places to take photographs. This place is absolutely beautiful, but parking can be a bit tough to find.Bring quarters for the meter!
Beautiful spot to enjoy both park and the Charles river. There is a dog park for you furry friends to enjoy as well
Nice views
The best park in Boston for enjoying the beautiful weather with chill vibes and a lot of beautiful trees.
This is a pretty park, I think a recent development of what used to be a dock or loading zone or something. It doesn’t have a ton of character (yet), being a recent development surrounded by high rises and office buildings, but it’s still peaceful, with a nice walkway along the riverside.
Good park with playground for kids (2 separate playgrounds for toddlers to teens) lots of grass to play games and seating area all around overlooking views of zakim/tobin bridge and the charles. Parking is limited and only for 2 hours
Beautiful park. I love too see people there enjoying the park from all different backgrounds and living situations. Good fishing spot.
Great park across from the museum of science! Not much parking but had a kids park with sprinklers, great walk/run route that connects to Charlestown under the Zakim bridge
Its a beautiful park great veiws and quiet for the the spot its in
Great place to go to relax or even for Bbqs also great for work functions wonderful views nice place that I also go fishing nice wildlife around too a must go and you can watch the duck boats go in the water and come out too.
Amazing view of the city with plenty of nature for walks, and room for dogs to run around in. There is a playscape for kids as well
Right next to Lynch family sk8park... beautiful park to rest and meditate on existence...
I love the old and new scenery together!!
Amazing park with a great view. I only visited this place at night, there is a place for kids to play, a good workout area with a Beautiful view. People are friendly. It is a friendly area for pets. You can reach buy bus. You will enjoy the view of the duck as well, I highly recommend this place.
Nice paved paths for a run. Small park, but paths loop so you can run riffs on a figure-eight pattern and enjoy the waterfront views. Lots of flat grassy field space for dogs or acrobatics or frisbee. Pretty landscaping.
Great spot to sit and admire the city with relative seclusion.
Great place & views. This riverside park packs a punch. For its size its great. They hold walks & runs here. Very different views of the city. This was a Big Dig park project from what I remember. Do go & enjoy this great place!
Beautiful park! Nice walking paths.
I had some bagels. The birds were bullying me. Not a great place
Beautiful spot to capture photos of the Zakim bridge or just relax, right by Science Park station
Nice park tucked away in a corner of East Cambridge. Bike paths. Sprinklers for kids. Skate park and plenty of shade. Great place to picnic with the kids.
Nice, place to stop and take in the sights.
This park has a great kids play area with 2 playgrounds for different ages and a splash pad. There is also a great view of the river. The park is about a 10 minute walk from the Community College or Science Park T stops and has a pedestrian walkway to Boston.
A beautiful location and picturesque setting on the Charles River. You can see both Boston and Cambridge at the small time. For being in an urban area, it is tranquil and quiet. A definite place to visit if you need to get away for a moment.
Beautiful well maintained park. Very close to science museum. Ideal for photographing Zakim bridge.
Peaceful place to clear your head
I love this place.
Gorgeous place. Has a nice view of the zakim bridge
Its a modern version of peace and tranquility and park of virtual Beauty in the Mist of a urban setting that has gorgeous vegetation and plenty of space for children to play have fun and for adults to relax and meditate with nature is the perfect place for the summer for the people of Cambridge and Boston.
Quite and beautiful park with cute playground and skater park nearby
Plenty of space stuff to do with your kids love the view
Lovely park; especially in summer
Great city parkYou can go to the park with splash pad or skate park and go fishing in the Charles River.
Crumbling traffic nightmare is due to be replaced soon and traffic will be rerouted over a temporary bridge theyre building alongside it. Look for the traffic nightmare to continue for years into the future.
This is a great place to take a walk, and a great place to take the kids. They have a water park and playground. The new connector to Charlestown is great -- you can check out Paul Revere park too!
Excellent playground, in separate areas for different ages.
Well manicured park, dog friendly, and great views
Greening up, great views of Boston skyline
A little peninsula of calm on the Charles River with views all around of bustle of the city. Broad lawns, canals, a great playground and a skate park With a fabulous pedestrian/bicycle bridge connecting it to Paul Revere Landing Park and on along the waterfront to Charlestown.
Hidden gem in Boston. Best view of Boston night time.
Great place to go for a walk. Nice views of the city and river. Good sized playground for kids. Its nice because its kind of tucked away, making it feel more private than most other parks.
Very. Good
Really interesting space to walk around. The foot bridge is a must see at night when it lights up. Cool to see all the skateboarders under the bridge as well.
Well laid out public park offering fine views of the skyline of Boston. I should point out though that stretches of the walkways are quite uneven.
Great place to walk your dog
Beautiful park right beside the river. Great place to be on a sunny Saturday!
Great views, plenty of green space, some street parkin. Near by, playgrounds are nice and several age appropriate areas. Kids love to watch the commuter rail, green line and duck tours go by.
