Samething has Harvard i love it so many stores people are out enjoying
This a beautiful place in Cambridge, ma which is about a 20 minute walk, one stop on the T redline to Harvard University, about a 30 walk, one stop away from MIT and an area filled with plenty of friendly restaurants and local bars. Great area enjoy yourself while here.
I love to get lost around here! Day or night, its alright... hehe. Great place to photograph, or learn, with a number of hideaway bookstores with hidden prizes for books and I highly suggest being around for the annual science festival!
Exited the Central Subway stop for a business meeting, and with 2 hours to kill, was pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood. Two wonderful art stores, a few nice coffee shops, wonderful selection of restaurants, a quirky thrift store (Boomerangs), two lovely bookshops, and dozens of other interesting establishments. Seems to be a neighborhood in transition, and lets just hope it doesnt get overrun with chain outlets like Harvard Square.
Pretty cool ally. You can do any kind of street art or admire others people art projects. It changes almost daily.
The ice cream was really good. The cone was light & did not get soggy. I like the wrapper it comes in...less mess
Beautiful woman just wondering around. Love it!
Great food and service!
I miss this place.
This place is pretty small but really good variety and the price was really good
Best place to score drugs in Cambridge. Sure, the Cambridge police headquarters are there, but they dont mind. Clean up your act, Cambridge.
Many diffetent eating places . Its been improving more new buildings. And keeping it up to date.
It is a very centrally located square.
Its constantly changing with grafitti artists there every day working on their craft. You can hang out and watch them working and take pics and movies.
Very much a hustle and bustle type of place, so if you like that.
Not as gritty and safer than it used to be 20 years ago with plenty of restaurant and clubs
Lots of shops, cafes and bars. Nice commercial area.
This area is profoundly congested with pedestrian traffic that find it necessary to obstruct moving motor vehicles (and buses) by deliberately walking into oncoming roadway traffic outside of crosswalk areas....often times after pushing pedestrian crossing button, then dont wait so cars all stop for jay walkers...then light turns red for all directions AFTER person(s) are already across street. It takes no less than 12-15 minutes for vehicle to travel down 8 block stretch of this street due to repetitive stopping due to jaywalking groups.Local PD marked cruisers often times engage flashing blue lights / sirens unnecessarily without cause just so that they can get down main street unobstructed from crazed pedestrians wholl repeatedly walk out infront of them as well if not appearing to respond to critical emergency....lights go out after clearing last block on main strip. Fact...this area is disaster for drivers.#driverscantwin
Havent been to Central Square in years and I enjoyed the beauty of the changes made. As well as being able to still make my way to familiar shops and places close by. I love this City!
Awesome place for shopping, or just people watching. I would only hang out here til early evening though
Pretty bad restaurants and coffee shops with the exception of Andala and Life Alive. Not suitable for kids due to the infestation of homeless people and an open drug market. The homeless there frequently fight and even change their clothes in the square. Its a shame that the City is neglectful of all this and dont clean that potentially beautiful area up.
Watch out for the mental sq such a mixture of different people. Some can be scary.
Beautiful
Today I called Cambridge City Hall to ask if they would mail me a copy of my birth certificate. Im 77years old and my license expired in April due to illness. I spoke to a gentleman who couldnt have been nicer. I never expected to have such a wonderful experience. I felt so good after talking to him because you just dont get that kind of serviceanymore. Thanks so much for the great service .
In Cambridge When I want to see the people feeling life I go there, otherwise Cambridge is so pure!
So,so many great places here. Boomerangs, Rodney’s Bookstore, University Park, 1369 Coffeehouse and I could go on so if you’re free for a weekend check this place out.
Awesome totally!!! Got to go thru this ally
Good and karaoke music
Lots of stores in this area. Cheapo records, art supplies, Rodneys bookstores, seven stars, CVS, Amazon... the works. also target, h-mart for groceries. Nearby is the fields bar and many other restaurants like dosa factory, veggie galaxy, life alive. Bus stations and red line make it very accessible
Diversity place to visit with a unique market
It was near a store I went to
A place of experience. You have to go for yourself. Cambridge is my hometown

Still Central scare. Little bottles of liquor lied around and homeless people hanging out
Known as mental sq get rid of the needle exchange clean out the circle and it will be a great place
Funky. Hip. Dirty and interesting day or night.

Nice square. 4 stars because not as nice as Harvard square.
Cool place
Good bus and redline connection
Check it out 4 ur self
Lived here for a year, while the night life is fantastic, its crowded, unsanitary, and you can hear people yelling at each other on the square until 5am in the summer way too often.
I love this place and to seat long hours
Dreary. Kendall and Harvard are great. I avoid Central so I cant be much help.
