Such an amazing hidden gem. Its easy to tell this place is designed with great passion. Ended up solving the intermediate escape room with just minutes to spare. The room was fun with lots of funny references which helped to provide comic relief during the riveting experience. Cant wait to go back and do another.

Our family had an excellent time last night at Queen City Escape Room! We did the Strange Escape room which was a blast. We did a mix of adults and teens and it worked out perfectly - very family friendly! Dominick is a great guy and he puts together such creative rooms. Weve done more than just a few rooms, but this one will not disappoint. Observation, care, awareness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and puzzle solving skills go a long way but then again, you can come do this adventure and be wowed at least half a dozen times or more.The hosts love what they do, they care about their clients and their adventure and it really shows. This is definitely worth coming to see!

First escape room experience with three other friends (also first-timers). All of the employees were so nice and explained everything very clearly. The room was challenging but definitely fun. I wish I could have spent the whole night there doing more rooms. Everybody was thrilled with the creativity and puzzles of the room. Teamwork was a key factor and it never felt like anybody was sitting around waiting for somebody to complete a task. Everybody had something to do and could help out each other. Went to another escape room place at the galleria and had a much less fun experience. The quality of the room here was on another scale compared to the other one. Would highly recommend Queen City Escape Room, and most definitely will be visiting again.

I’ve been here twice and had a blast each time! Dominic is awesome and very accommodating. I for one like the handmade accoutrements to the puzzles; it shows the TLC that’s gone into making them. Little hidden gems hidden in a hidden gem: Queen City Escape!

We did the Stranger Things room on the weekend and it was great! My kids are 12 and 9, not too spooky. Fantastic attention to detail. Little surprises. Clever puzzles. Wish I lived closer, would love to try all the rooms!

We are still flying on the high of the Queen City Escape room days later! Dominic (the owner) was such a delight to meet - upbeat, entertaining- and stayed involved with us as headquarters the whole time to ensure we had a great experience while giving us little clues to help us along when we got stuck. We did the Gumshoe room as a family with our six year old daughter. It was well thought out, with puzzles that ran the gamut from color, spatial relationships, math, word play, hidden messages/secret codes, etc. I was impressed with how many different puzzles and clues were packed into one room. There was something for everyone - and even my daughter was able to figure out 3 of the clues! It was such a rush to complete the room and so fun to see how we all worked as a team. This was, hands down, the best part of our trip when we visited. The one thing I would recommend before entering the room is to grab some treats/snacks from the entrance lounge in case the kids get hungry halfway through, as ours did. Thank you so much for all the fun!!

This place was cool beans. The hosts were the most hospitable hosts I have encountered. The room was tough, but fair. We ran into tons of new puzzles. Our night out in Buffalo is off to a good start because of this place and the people we met.

My sister, friend and I did the Strange Escape room! Based on Stranger Things, it was super fun and the references to the show were cool. Dominic is a good games master and designs all the rooms! We really enjoyed ourselves and felt challenged by the room

Very enjoyable and engaging way to spend an afternoon with friends! The puzzles were extremely well thought out, challenging, and perfectly fit the theme of the room. I went in a group of 4, and there was more than enough to keep us moving through the room for almost the entire hour - we made it out with about 8 minutes to spare! The owners, Sara and Dominic, were quite friendly, enjoyable and clearly passionate about designing these intricate puzzles. Queen City Escape is 100% about having fun in a totally unique and captivating way, offering an escape into an imaginative and immersive experience. Highest possible recommendation!!

Im a repeat visitor at Queen City Escape. Ive completed the 90s room, Stranger Things room, and the Seven Wonders room. Each time has been so much fun! The puzzles are great and you can tell that a lot of though was put into each room. Ive had a great time with as few as 4 people and as many as 9. Luckily Ive escaped every time, usually with less than a minute left so it gets pretty intense. I cant wait to go back!

These guys are the absolute best people ever. They make you feel like family. So friendly! The 90s theme is so cool, its challenging but its not too difficult. The way you ask for clues is fun and creative. We recently got to try the 7 wonders of the world room, this one is much more difficult but fun! Plan on coming with a bigger group of people, the more people the better your chance of beating it within the time period. Absolutely one of my favorite escape rooms in buffalo, cant wait to see what else they have up their sleeves next.

My group did the 7 Wonders Heist adventure and we loved it! It was different than any other escape room weve done in Buffalo, and the puzzles were very creative. We enjoyed it so much we booked another room at Queen City before we left! Highly recommend this place for both beginners and experts.

I was part of a group of 4 couples that went to the Buffalo Room at Queen City Escape. It was fantastic. The puzzles were logical and the props were awesome. This is a must see escape room in Buffalo. The puzzles flowed very well and we solved the room just in time. We will be going back to Queen City escape to solve the other rooms.

I had a blast escaping the 90s at Queen City Escape with a group of ladies for my bachelorette party! We had a great experience and tons of fun working together to solve all the puzzles, which were challenging just enough to keep us invested and entertained, but certainly never frustrated. It truly is the perfect team-building exercise. Sara and Dominic have outdone themselves with amazing detail to vintage items that I remember having, still have, growing up in the 90s. I was very impressed and would recommend Queen City Escape to everyone! I cant wait to try their next room! :)

It will be worth every penny.I had the pleasure of doing the Escape the 90s room with three of my friends. It took all of our minds working together to barely escape in time. The room was challenging, but we bested all of the puzzles and made it out with 11 seconds to spare! All in all, it is nice going to an escape room experience where the owners make their rooms from scratch. Their puzzles/rooms are not purchased. You can see their effort and devotion in each of the puzzles. It is one of the best new things you can do in Buffalo. And with new rooms coming out, I couldnt be more excited about this place and what it has in store for Buffalo!

This was my first escape room experience, and it could not have been more fun and challenging at the same time. From the moment we walked in the door our host Dominic was helpful (but not TOO helpful!) and so obviously glad to have us there that we couldnt help but have a good time. We solved the room (without getting any clues!) - the Stranger Things themed one - but not without some serious teamwork and everyone making contributions to the effort. If you have any trepidation about doing this with your friends, I recommend that you give this one a try. You will have a great time!

Great Escape rooms! Have done the stranger things room all new best time for the room. Crushed the 90s room and stayed to bust the Gumshoe mystery room. Great times! Cant wait to go back for the others!!!

Participating in the escape room at Queen City Escape was an awesome experience! The puzzles and games in the room were challenging and fun. This is a great team-building activity and it was awesome to each take part in finding clues to escape. This is a great activity thats outside of the norm and I would definitely recommend it! The staff did a great job with the details in the room and really put in a lot of effort to make the 90s theme come to life!

First time escapers, we had a great experience. 4 adults and 3 kids 17, 13, and 10. Everyone was able to participate. Some clues were easier than others, and we did get a little help. Tryed the gumshoe room and ran out of time. We were almost.done so they gave us an extra 10 minutes and we finished with over a minute left. The owner was great and very nice. I definitely would try other rooms here.

What a terrific time. The puzzles were thought provoking and challenging. You had the opportunity to work on multiple puzzles at once so everybody could be doing things individually or together. Sara and Dominic are engaging and talented.... I highly recommend going!

Small but well designed and competitively priced.

I went to Queen City Escape Room not knowing what to expect never having done an escape room before. My friend put a group of us together and told us to have faith. I ended up having the most fun I have had in months. Not knowing anything about it was actually a huge advantage. Everyone in our group had a really great time and thanks to a last minute addition who was the MVP of our group we were able to escape in under 44:00. I cant say enough positive about the room and the way it was run. The entire atmosphere was focused on having fun and enjoying solving the room.If you are remotely thinking signing up, please, just do it. Gather a group of your friends, have an open mind and make sure to have a plan of where you are going to get together afterwards to recap and post game as you will want to talk about it as soon as you leave.

Love it. Very fun and Dom is great at his job. All the rooms Ive done were put together nicely and you get hints throughout if you get stuck. I enjoy.myself every time.

I went for the 90s time travel room and it was incredibly fun and creative! The puzzles were well thought out and balanced, and the room decor had some of the best highlights to the 90s. Also, making reservations were easy to complete online and the owners were very flexible about allowing us to have a private session with just my family.

Super fun, puzzle rooms take about an hour and really make you think. Excellent for a date! The owners are super enthusiastic; definitely coming back again.

The best escape room you will find in Buffalo!

Tonight I got to experience the Queen City Escape Room as part of a bachelorette celebration. It was a blast!! Sarah and Dominic do a fantastic job of setting the mood for 90s time travel and the attention to detail quite literally takes you back in time. Our group of 8 was able to work together to solve the puzzles while having an awesome time and listening to some great music. Kudos to Queen City Escape Room. Highly recommended to anyone who would like to break the mold for the standard mundane night out. Cant wait to go back for the next escape room!!!!

Excellently done escape room with a nice twist and theme. Had a blast and I look forward to bringing others to it and seeing what else they create in the future. Puzzles varied in level but nothing impossible, a ton of fun for all adults out there looking for a great activity. I was on a date with my wife but I imagine its excellent team building events too!

My friends and I had a blast. We went to the 90s room when it originally opened and loved it so much that when the 7 wonders room opened we went back immediately. It was super fun! I highly recommend going!

Have you ever wanted to be in a real life video game? Do you often fantasize about solving riddles like Batman? Do you wake up and think, I wish there was a way to best my friends by completing a complex series of puzzles? If so, you will absolutely love QCE. I *ahem* attempted to complete this room with two of my closest friends and even though it got the better of us, we had plenty to talk about for hours. I cant recommend it enough.

Queen City Escape Room was a blast! I have done escape rooms in four different cities and this was at the top of the list! This one had a 90s theme, which really appealed to the crew that joined us! We had our moments of chaos, but everything came together in the end for our escape!Highly recommend this crew - they do a top notch job and put the extra effort in by acting their part and getting everyone in on the fun!Check it out!!!

The time warp back to the 90s was a race against the clock to find and solve the puzzles that would unlock the door and finding our way back to the present. This was my first experience and defiantly not my last. I had so much fun and definitely recommend this to anyone who dares to try and not to get stuck in the time warp.

We never did an escape room event before. This was a great place to start. Infact Im ready to make reservations again this Christmas. It was a fun family event. An ice breaker for FFF (forced family fun! as we jokingly call it) Good clean fun. Easy parking,great staff.

The best escape room in WNY. The 7 Wonders Room was really fun. Dominic and Sara, the creators of the room, develop the puzzles themselves from scratch and hand craft all the components. They are definitely experts at puzzles and it shows. An exhilarating 59 minutes and 58 seconds.

Im not usually one for group activities where you have to do team building exercises but Queen City Escape Room makes working together fun! The owners are super nice and friendly so definitely an added bonus.

We escaped Queen City Escapes 90s time travel room with 11 seconds to spare. The last puzzle was intense and befuddled our group until someone thought out of the box and figured it out. We are very excited for their second room, 7 Wonders of the World! They gave our group a sneak peak of it and it looks amazin!!!!!
